A few weeks ago, during an all day rain event, we noticed a wet spot on the ceiling in my son's room. After reading reviews on Angie's list, I decided to call The Dura Group. The young lady I spoke with was very nice and assured me they could handle any roofing situation large or small. We made an appointment for the following Monday afternoon. I asked if they would please call first, and she assured me they would. On the day of the appointment I received the promised call, and Mike Moss, the technician, showed up within 5 minutes of our appointment time. We discussed the issue and I showed him where the wet spot was. We discussed the two vent stacks in the approximate location on the roof, and he said due to the age of the house, the rubber boot around one or both of the pipes was probably the culprit. He said while he was on the roof he would do a quick visual inspection to see if he saw any other issues. Mike's initial diagnoses was correct. He snapped several photos of the affected area to show me what he found. One photo clearly showed a split that had developed in the rubber boot. He told me the rest of the roof, including a similar roof vent stack were in good condition. He said he didn't have the materials with him, but after giving a cost estimate, said he would return the next day to repair the leak. True to his word, he came back the next morning, but the roof is very steep and overnight frost made it too dangerous to attempt the repair. Two days later he returned and completed the repair to our satisfaction. The next day we had another all day rain event, and the ceiling remained bone dry. Mike Moss was very courteous, professional, and pleasant to deal with. We will definitely use The Dura Group again, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
