He was the second person to look at the furnace. The first said the part was broken and it would be the next day before they could get a part. This was New Year's Eve, so I was skeptical. The first guy said they were likely going to be open. I said OK, but then Greg from Cotton Service Company showed up and took a look. It was indeed in need of a new part, but he stated that the earliest they could get it would be Tuesday. The parts warehouse just wouldn't open until then. Since that was 2 days away and it was 3 degrees outside he looked at how it was not working. After working on it for a several minutes got it work. While it was noisy it worked and we had heat. So, not only did he tell me the truth up front about the price, the time it would take, but he also did what he could and managed to give us heat until he was able to replace the broken part. There isn't a positive rating high enough. They have excellent customer service and customer facing skills. They are the example of what a service company should be.

It went pretty well. The repairs worked. Only negative was I felt like I was pushed into buying a mold reducer that fit in my furnace and was supposed to have a great and noticeable impact on our air quality. Upon further research I found that such tools don't really work and I''m out $600. Not sure if I'd hire them again or not.

A/C unit stopped working sometime in the night. Called about 10am Monday morning and they were out by 2pm. Called ahead of time to inform they were on their way. Provided estimate and requested approval to perform work. I already knew I had a leak somewhere in the system and he provided advice on options regarding the leak. Followed up with a call from the company regarding service techs work and sent a thank you card with a 20% discount on future service over $250.

I hired Wise Heating to fix heating issues in a rental house (I'm the landlord). My initial call to them was promptly returned, and we were able to coordinate service that same day. The furnace needed routine maintenance and a repair to the structure of exterior casing. Repairs were very fast, and fairly priced. A picture of damage to unit was sent to me prior to repair. Will definitely use Wise Heating in the future.

1st tech had been to my house 3 times all 3 times unit was not properly fixed,this tech is now in prison for drugs,this was told to me by the 2nd tech,who also informed 1st tech must have been having a bad day! spoke to owner of the company explained to him unit had never been fixed properly as explained by 2nd tech,this is also under home warranty owner of said company would not honor warranty and was gonna charge me for services totaling over $800 .the owner left me with no air in 90 degree plus weather i also have 2 children, this is by far the worst service i have ever encountered owner was unwilling to correct his companies mistake ,technician did not do job properly ,also were smart elect towards me step on my flowers i could go on and on i would never recommend this company to anyone

I really appreciate how they always send the same tech to our house (has been here 3x since I owned the house, and the previous owners also had the same tech come a couple of times). The tech who came out to repair our broken furnace took his time to figure out exactly what was causing the problem, and even went the extra mile to make some other small fixes to the wiring for the thermostat and control board. Aside from mentioning that they have a service plan, there are no big attempts to try and sell extras. And I also like that the tech spends a lot of time explaining how things work - I feel like I got a crash course in HVAC repair (but will definitely always be calling these pros to come do maintenance!) I cant recommend this company enough. (Side note: Roto-rooter is also under the same agency and I've had great experience with them, too).

In the last 3 months, while trying to fix a series of HVAC problems, I've had experience with 3 different HVAC companies. I finally found Eddie Rey of Best Choice Heating and Air. He is prompt, professional, and friendly, and his rates are cheaper than the other companies. At the end of June he replaced the condensation pump in the upstairs A/C. This involved clambering about in a filthy, boiling hot, unfinished attic, but he was cheerful throughout. Worth noting - many repair people assume women are uninterested in, or cannot comprehend, the repairs they are doing. Eddie made no such assumptions, let me watch over his shoulder the whole time, and explained what he was doing. Yesterday it looked like the new pump had failed. It turns out the problem was due to how the A/C was originally installed (years ago, by a completely different company), and was not a problem with the new pump. However as soon as he heard there might be a problem with work that he'd done Eddie was here with in 24 hours. He stands by his work and believes in customer satisfaction. He is now my go-to guy for any HVAC repair. I highly recommend him.

I purchased the cleaning big deal from Elite - I called to schedule - the woman who answered was very professional and nice and I was scheduled for the following Thursday. A technician came out - did a visual inspection of the furnace and had me turn it on - he proceeded to tell me the flame had some orange in it and that probably meant I had a gas leak and he said by looking that the circuit board was probably bad too - showed some corrosion and proceeded to tell me that my furnace was shot and that I should purchase a new one - they had some nice specials going on. He threw out some prices and had me talk to his boss on the phone in regards to prices and I requested that he email me the quotes as I would need to have more information and be able to compare prices, etc. To this date I have not received anything in writing to compare. I did ask the technician before he left if since he felt the board had corrosion and was bad if replacing it would be worth while and at least get me thru one more winter. He said that considering the flame was burning orange it probably has a gas leak and would simply suggest replacing the entire furnace as it was 10 or 11years old. Also, worth mentioning - there wasn't any math put into figuring out what size my house required. Even I know that bigger is not better in regards to furnace and AC units - too big quickly becomes inefficient and more costly to run. Simply put - one size or one special as the case may be, does NOT fit all. There were no services performed - no adjustments, no tune ups and no cleanings. I really got the impression that they only wanted to sell me a new furnace and ac unit. After a couple of weeks went by and I heard nothing more from them I called a friend of mine that used to do HVAC repairs and asked him to take a look. I told him what I was told regarding the gas leak, etc. He looked at the flame and said it looked only blue to him and said it would be rare to have a gas leak like that and said also if you see a little orange in the blue that dirt can do that. The irony is of course, the cleaning and inspection coupon is what I had purchased in the first place. Just for the sake of argument, I will put a carbon monoxide tester close to the furnace and keep an eye on it. I promise to update this review if that technician was right about the gas leak. Otherwise, I feel they sent me a salesman, not a service technician.
