Called and left a message asking for an estimate on getting a concrete pad poured in addition to leveling and installing gravel in a large yard. Did not receive a call back.

Owner / manager arrived exactly on time; crew followed within minutes. They began by hauling away trash from demo the day before -- something I had though I would have to do -- then got to work on the palm tree and prep work. Everyone friendly and hard-working. Very respectful of home interior, though some work required workers to pass through the house. All of this was done on one day's notice, though I had planned to have to wait a few days for scheduling. There is one minor issue that will need follow up attention. My confidence in management is such that I am sure this will be addressed effectively. I will let you know!

The Right Choice Home Remodeling inc
I'll start with this.. I've been home with an injury which has kept me from doing the work myself. I got a flyer for this company. I called and Leo came out to give me an estimate. I had a lot of dirt because I had my above ground pool set into the ground about 18". Originally I just wanted the area around my above ground pool cleaned up and rock or pavers set, but Leo said they could just take care of the rest so I wouldn't have to worry about it later especially since I was injured. I was pre-approved for the work and they came and took care of it in one day. Now here is where I have a problem. Leo said they would remove the dirt dug up from the pool, dig down about 6-7 inches, lay weed barrier, setting sand, and then the gravel so everything was nice and level. What they actually did was remove the dirt I had dug up from the pool, did not dig or remove any additional dirt from the flower beds. They did put down the weed barrier but used the rocks to fill in all the uneven areas. So in some places there are a ton of rocks and in other areas I can see the weed barrier. I won't even get started on the setting sand. Basically what they did in one day, I could've done In a few months. That's my point. I would've done a better job had I not been hurt. Now back to the financing, Leo said there's a problem with my financing because I don't make the amount that I said I did. He told the finance company that I made $15,000 a month. And my response to that was if I made $15,000 a month why would I need financing. That in itself has been a nightmare for me. I was bounced around with the financing and ended up with FortiFi. THE WORST FINANCIAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. They do not listen, they wanted balances for my retirement, they wanted my paystubs to reflect what THEY WANT TO SEE, they do not respond to emails, then they act like it's your fault they didn't receive the information THEY WAITED two days to ASK FOR. Beth Carrillo was snarky, and unprofessional. She refused to listen. I literally had to kindergarten explain my situation to her and STILL she wanted something else. I have never in my life been rude or disrespectful to anyone with a business matter. But she's the very first person that has ever made me yell at them over the phone. I could not take it anymore so I paid for the landscaping with money I had set aside for repairs to the inside of my home. I had water damage back in May. I do not recommend The Right Choice unless you verify EVERYTHING BEFORE THEY START THE WORK and you have to make sure they do as they said they would. I've never been one to hover but that's going to change. And do not EVER WORK WITH FORTIFI. There are not enough bad things I can say about them and particularly Beth Carrillo.

Puente Ready Mix Inc.
I just went into the office and received advice as to what gravel would work best in the french drain I had excavated in my back yard, and how much my mini Toyota truck would safely hold (about a half ton). They gave me a good price and out the door I went, driving my bed under a chute, filling up, and away I went. Perfect. All done in 10 minutes time.

The Plant Connection
I could not be happier. There were six installers here for two and a half days. When I noticed the sprinklers were not perfect, the lead came back the next day for a few hours to wrap the project up. They were friendly, professional and answered all my questions.

Go and Do landscaping
Excellent. Pedro was prompt, friendly and brought samples by. During the actual work he had us walk around to review progress and make sure he was doing as we asked. The crew was professional and finished up project in less than a day. The price was fair and we were more than pleased with the outcome. We would definitely recommend their services and call on Go and Do again should we require landscaping services in the future.

C Perez Sprinkler & Landscape
We hired C Perez to landscape our yard, put in sod, new irrigation along with mulch and gravel and new plants and couldn't be happier. C came out and gave a very fair estimate and started the following week, finishing in 5 days as promised. C was here every day with his helper Nelson and transformed our front and back yard. He did specialty irrigation for our garden planter boxes. Initially we had wanted a drip line in the planters but discovered later that it did not deliver enough water for our vegetables and C came back out and changed it out to a sprinkler system at no charge. Our neighbor has asked for his contact information after seeing his work at our home. C Perez is honest, extremely hard working (this was during the heat wave) and gave us a very fair quote and the job came in on budget and on time. Couldn't recommend him more and will certainly call him on our next project.

Flores Artscape
Here are some reasons why we give them a TOP-rating of 5 stars!! 1) Professional Service. We had a terrific project manager; Rumaldo, who "kept the ball rolling" always with a smile on a labor-intensive project. 2) Excellent Staff. We were assigned a hard-working & friendly team (Antonio and Jose) who followed directions perfectly and made helpful suggestions. 3) Flexible and Fair. You can't foresee and plan everything ahead of time on any job involving creativity and problem solving. FLORES was willing to work with us on changes and even met us at the Nursery to help us pick out appropriate plants considering the different daylight around our property and the irrigation they installed. 4) 90-day warranty upon completion. This is invaluable and hard to find these days with any company, but FLORES made sure we were very happy with all the results. It doesn't get better than that folks! W & D

All went precisely as planned. We were given a start date, a finish date and all hours that were to be involved. The work team arrived on time, ready for work and were very capable and pleasant. The project involved removal and disposal of an old, concrete patio and walkway and the replacement of same, but in beautiful Pennsylvania Blue Stone. Juan and his crew adapted to some changes we made “on the fly” and contributed their expertise to solving any problems, of which there were few. The only negative was, perhaps, the price but I’ve learned over the years that you get what you pay for. In this case it was well worth the small additional cost. HIghly recommended. (Total sq. Footage of patio and walkway = 600 square feet.)

What do customers in Los Angeles say about Spread Gravel?

The work was so professional and the end result was fabulous. His workers were the best and knew their craft--they were friendly and always answered any questions we had. They cleaned up after their work every day--they came promptly every morning at 7 am and left after they had completed their task for the day. We couldn't be more pleased with the end result. We changed our front yard from grass to drought resistant plants and the look we got is a state of the art look. It takes a village to raise a child--well, in our case it took an landscape designer, Tim Fiskin; a hard scape company owned by Jim Jennings; and a landscaper named Tim Mitchell to produce a beautiful show case yard.
