Recent Review: They have removed the old shower, moved an outlet in the bathroom and installed the heater/fan unit along with the new electrical for it, added a recessed light in the shower, roughed in the plumbing for a shower head and handheld shower, framed the niche, hot mopped the shower pan, papered and put up the screen on the shower walls except the water fixture wall (for inspection). The bedroom ceiling has been refinished and the bedroom walls have been patched, and an outlet in the bedroom was added. So after 5 days, we have the electrical and plumbing roughed in, the shower floor is hot mopped and tested for leaks, and we passed inspection. We are very pleased with the progress. Sam is very easy to work with because of his personality. He has a calm demeanor and a quiet voice. I find him to be fair, a good listener, and after listening he has good suggestions for your particular situation. His crew is very skilled and hard-working and because Sam takes the time to discuss the job for the day, the crew is clear about what they will be doing. Both Sam and crew are prompt and Sam will return your call or text in a timely manner. My husband and I purchased and picked up or had delivered: the floor tile, vanity, vanity light, heater/fan, toilet, shower fixtures, new bedroom lighting. Sam has or will pick up for us, our purchased orders of: shower tile, bedroom flooring, shower door, new bathroom door. ATM furnishes all labor and materials for construction. As a note, the crew keeps the work area neat and clean, our floors are protected and the dust is under control. Also, while the electrician was checking the attic for the location of the new heater/fan, Sam spotted a problem with the duct work that was not up to code for a heater/fan that we had installed by another contractor earlier, and he fixed it. I will update this review when the work is complete. I can't wait to see the finished job! :) UPDATE: Nov 16, 2015 The project began on Oct 7 and was finished on Nov 4 and took 4 weeks rather than the 2 week estimate and that was ok because the guys always showed up and they were always on time. We were not left wondering if someone was coming and they were all hardworking and trustworthy. I was happy that they would ask us questions or consult us so they knew what we wanted or so we knew what they had to do. There were only 2 instances where communication got a little mixed up but to make up for that, the worker came early the next day rather than later! That was fine with us. All of our walls in the bathroom and bedroom are now smooth and look brand new. Our walls were in pretty rough shape in the master bathroom with peeling paint, some water damage from shower water getting past our shower curtain, and holes in the wall from the first remodel when another contractor?s guys were smashing out the old tile in the next door guest bathroom causing the wall to vibrate, thus holes. The bedroom walls had an intercom speaker removed and an outlet added. The bedroom ceiling had drywall placed over it and you would never know it because it?s so smooth. Sam and crew picked up some of our large orders for us such as the flooring and some of the tile. Any trash was bagged and piled on our walkway near our front gate and this did not bother us. The trash was picked up twice during the project by one of Sam?s guys and taken away in a pickup truck, no dumpster for our job. It was a bit of a journey to the end of the project with minor tile and dust issues and especially since I am picky, but Frank and Antonio listened and their detail work lived up to my expectations. Also, Sam was open to feedback from us. Looking back, I appreciate Sam?s suggestions and I did follow most of them such as: the tile layout design, to use ?chrome? metal trim around the tile, the foot rest in the shower, the vanity placement, using a LED vanity light (and we added a dimmer), and the light gray paint color. I bought a heater/fan unit with no humidity sensor, so for code, Sam had a humidity sensor switch installed. We had a local glass company install a frameless shower door. If we had any questions, Sam would come out or send someone to find an answer for us. The project ended on budget and as stated before, we thought it was a very fair price. We passed inspection and we are happy with the end result! We really enjoy using our new bathroom and bedroom!
