Los Angeles Attic Fan Installation

It went very smoothly. It was quick and the new fan worked well immediately. It is making a difference in the heat that builds up in the house during the day, from the heat in the attic.

I bought the deal for $269 for installation of attic fan. The deal says "Description: Here's the Deal:Solid steel attic fan including installationSolid steel thermostat to allow for temperature control". No where it says it replaces an old attic fan. So after calling and scheduling an appointment, the guy comes in, sees a solar attic fan previously installed. He tried to convince my wife (I wasn't home unfortunately) that the fan is not working (it is a solar fan and it was working 2 weeks before) and refused to install the new attic fan (I needed two, since my attic is big and need more ventilation) claiming "the offer is to replace an existing fan only" which in no way included in the offer advertising. And of course, he offered to install the new fan but for extra money "around $300". I didn't like their dishonesty, because: 1- I know the previous solar fan is working. 2- He wanted to make his job easier by just taking the solar fan out and put the electric one, ignoring what was written in their offer. Wouldn't trust to do any business, and if you get them, make sure every detail is discussed BEFORE he comes to your house.

I recently purchased an Angie's List deal for a stainless steel Attic Fan to be installed by ADI Electric. Cindy, who books the appointments, was so nice when I called to schedule. Even though I am located a bit beyond their working radius, she pled my case to the owner who called me back the same day to figure out when installers would be close to my are so they could accommodate my needs. I didn't mind the 3 week wait since I really am out of their service area. Cindy re-confirmed the appointment the Friday before installation. The timing was good since the heat hit Mission Viejo the same day that I was scheduled. Two guys arrived within the 2 hour appointment window. They were professional and polite, laid a plastic tarp on my light carpet where the ladder was placed. They offered a manual on/off switch accessible from below the attic. I appreciated that they weren't pushy salesman when it was clear I didn't believe I needed this. They explained that they would set the fan to automatically come on when the attic reaches 90 degrees. An hour later my attic fan was installed and running and they showed me the new fan. They left at 9:30am, by 3pm it was 90 outside and I had the AC set at 77. Normally at this temp, it would still be roasting upstairs while comfortable downstairs, but now there is so little difference between the upstairs and downstairs temperature due to the new fan. The whole house cooled off in record time and the temperature seems balanced. I wish we'd done this years ago... I can't believe how much of a difference this attic fan makes! I would recommend ADI Electric to anyone needing electrical services. Everyone was so nice - the appointment taker, the installers and the owner. I appreciate their friendly and professional service and would definitely call them again.

The process was smooth. ADI came out and installed the attic fan. We were thinking of a location where another attic fan had been. They suggested a different (and better) location.

John was on time and reviewed my needs. He then provided a thorough explanation of what needed to be done, about how long it would take and how he was going to do it; which he then proceeded to do. Along the way he kept me informed as to his status. John was courteous and easy to work with and discuss my needs. I would use Mr. Handyman and John again.

We had a 7:30 am appointment. Tony and his crew arrive 10 minutes early. They got right to work and installed the attic fan, rechecked the installation to make sure they didn't forget anything, cleaned the work area, and then even swept down where the trucks were parked. The entire job took them just 40 minutes. Quick, professional, and efficient. What more can you want? Highly recommended.

Excellent overall. Ron was on time...even installed a smoke alarm that I had been unable to do by myself.

Excellent support provided during our attic fan installation. This is the second time we've used ADI (previous job was LED light installation). My wife was very happy with the service and timeliness...and we all know, "happy wife, happy life."

The service provider came out to install an attic fan but found that I already had one so the coupon purchased was not used.
