I had plans done by Creative Home Remodeling Architect and got my Money back when we signed for the Construction Contract (Generous idea). Project went very good professional and beautiful work. Recent Review: I don’t even know how to begin this review for Tomer Malki from ITM Construction! Let me preface and say that my husband and I (first-time homeowners) bought a fixer-upper in the Mid-city area. The house was built in the 1920s and needed a great deal of TLC. And by that I mean a complete renovation (kitchen, bathrooms, wall removal, refinishing the hardwood floors, plumbing, electricity – you name it!). We love old, historic homes, and were looking to work with someone who could preserve our house’s integrity, while offering a modern update. We had been in touch with a handful of other contractors during escrow, all of whom made us doubt our decision to buy the house, saying, more or less, that it would be a massive, lengthy, and expensive project. After having our plans approved by the city, we met a few other contractors, but still didn’t feel like we found the right person. We finally met Tomer, which literally felt like a fresh breath of (optimistic) air! He spent over three hours carefully scrutinizing the house, offering his vision for what it could become, making suggestions that would maximize our space while minimizing our expenses, and chanting, “There are no problems. Only solutions.” After the meeting, my husband and I felt Tomer was the first and only contractor who actually made us feel like the job would get done! And that is exactly the type of attitude Tomer maintained throughout our renovation project. He was extremely communicative, arriving to the house every single day, keeping us updated on the progress, and consulting with us along the way. He’s smart, creative, easygoing, and has a sharp eye. He is such a pleasure to work with! And, I should stress, he also works with an incredible team of highly talented individuals! His team was able to recreate the patterns resembling the original plaster from the 1920s inside the house, while matching the stucco from the outside. They built a new master closet from scratch. We also bought reclaimed tiles, and we were so relieved that they were installed flawlessly. I’m talking about one hundred year old fire-glazed tiles. (We even sent photos to the company where we purchased them, and the owner said it was one of the best installations she had ever seen during her twenty years in the business.) The crewmembers were always friendly, responsive, and hard-working. And our kitchen is a dream!! Tomer helped us design the kitchen, which was a challenge, given the limitations because of HPOZ (historic city zoning). He planned a perfect layout, getting into details of the proper lighting, the placement of appliances, and the types of cabinets we would utilize the most. The cabinetry is of the finest quality, along with the beautiful granite installation. When we had ideas for how we wanted the house to be designed (and there were plenty), he always found ways to make it happen. For instance, Tomer was able to assist us with our own vision: transforming antique dressers into bathroom vanities!! He was also able to refer us to different stores with competitive prices (coupled with his contractor’s discount). After only three months of renovation, completed according to our contract, we are now living in our dream home!! The level of workmanship, the dedication, the attention to small details – all exceeded our expectations!! We wish to give Tomer our highest recommendation, and we have no doubt we will hire him for future projects! Thank you, Tomer! We sincerely appreciate all your time and effort. Recent Review: I first worked with Paramount Construction in 2005. After talking to many contractors and receiving bids, I decided to proceed with Isaac with Paramount Construction. I felt most comfortable with Isaac and he was very easy to talk to, especially when I asked multitude of questions. He was very patience and his bid was in the mid-range from the various bids that I had received. I figured that it was a safe bet to select the middle bid. I am glad that I had selected Paramount Construction. Paramount performed my first remodel by adding a master suite in the front of my house. We also had the front of the house extended out another 9 feet. I designed the layout myself, hired an experienced draftsman to provide blue prints and submit the plan to the city for approval. Paramount reviewed the blue prints and accepted the plan. During the construction stage, I realized that the actual layout looks slightly different than when viewing on a piece of paper. I requested a few changes mid-stream of the construction and Isaac was very accommodating. It was his willingness to work with me in all aspect that I truly enjoyed the most in dealing with Paramount. Contractors are usually viewed as slime ball, just a par above lawyers but Isaac was the exception. Throughout the construction, I sometime had doubts if Isaac was real or just a scam....he was too nice and accommodating. I am glad that my doubts was put to rest when he finished the project. My family loved the addition that Paramount had made. There were a few corrections that needed to be made and Isaac followed up on his promises. We liked and trusted Isaac to the point that we decided to performed another add-on to the back of the house and updated the remaining part of the house. Essentially, we added a family room, extended the living room, remodel the kitchen, extended one bedroom and update the backyard landscape. I was very pleased with the job and would highly recommend Paramount Construction to anyone who is looking for an honest, hard working, fair and above average quality job.

Recent Review: This is a lovely crew that went beyond the call of duty, doing extra work without being asked for. The supervisor was there most of the time to check work with the crew. They finished in less time then projected. They were clean and polite.

Recent Review: If you want a quality refinish of your legacy hardwood floor then call up Neal Beck. I found him after being frustrated by all the bozos on various websites that checked the "Wood Floor Repair" only so they could try to sell you vinyl planks. Neal is not that guy! Neal has the skills to fix or refinish your floors. Neal has the equipment. Neal has the contacts for buying legacy wood strips. Neal can find the 220 volts in your breaker box for the big sanders he has. So if you love those legacy hardwood floors with all their perfect imperfections (hey that could be a song!) then call Neal. It's a tough job but Neal had the skills and endurance to make it beautiful again.

Recent Review: Working with Butel was amazing; we had a tiny window of time and they somehow managed to do 14 days worth of work in 10. Their communication was very assuring, and they were so understanding and helpful, even when we were busy and disorganized. Everything looks amazing! We can't say enough good things, in fact we've already recommended them and plan to use them again in the near future for some bigger projects.

Recent Review: We are super pleased with the remodel of our house! Everything looks amazing and the work was done with the most care. We hired Avi to remodel our kitchen, den, master bath, and guest bath. It was a pretty big project and Avi delivered! We were on a very condensed timeline (since I was about 7 month pregnant when we started). Avi handled everything for us including planning, design, permits, and construction/build. He prepared a thorough timeline and budget for review and executed accordingly. Avi did a great job of staying on top of the workers and finishing the project according to our timeline. He is not the cheapest, but his prices are very fair for the work that is performed. I would certainly recommend him to anyone doing a remodel. Everyone that comes to our house absolutely loves it! The flow is much better, more open and vibrant, and best of all everything is new!

Recent Review: After a very easy estimate, Jaymes and Efrain got to work, restoring our 70 year old red oak floors. Excitement, attention to detail and pure craftsmanship. We finally moved in and the floors are bright and full of life.

Recent Review: Eddie and his team are stellar. Eddie was a consummate professional, very flexible, and very willing to work around our budget and timeline requirements. We had about 2500 square ft of space where we wanted to replace worn carpet and tile with a wood-finished product (not necessarily hardwood). We shopped around for flooring specialists, but not one contractor we talked to could match the price and quality of material that Eddie offered. We landed on waterproof SPC Vinyl Tile that is both beautiful to look at and durable (we are a family with 2 little kids so durability was important in determining what material to select). Eddie's team was amazing (especially Mehdi). They were ALWAYS on time, extremely willing to accommodate our preferences, were very helpful in helping us move or disassemble furniture as needed, and most of all, had a friendly disposition the entire time. Mehdi (Eddie's partner) is quite the artist and a perfectionist. The work he did on our stairs and around our fireplaces and door jams was incredible. These guys took their time (9 days for 2500 sq.ft), but when it was done, man, was it beautiful. I whole-heartedly recommend Eddie for flooring work. His team is great and it is hard to find flooring specialists who will do the kind of quality work he did at such an affordable price.
