Recent Review: My husband and I had wanted to get our old patio replaced for years. It was old, cracked, and just a simple slab of concrete that wasn?t very attractive. After our youngest left for college, we found ourselves using the patio more frequently to just sit and relax, have breakfast, or just have some friends over. With the old patio looking like it did, we were embarrassed and knew we needed to make a change. We hired Supreme Remodeling after getting about 2 other quotes. Supreme?s quote was in line with the others but we chose them based on their customer service. They were so friendly and polite and were easy to get on the phone to answer any questions. We gave them our budget up front and they never strayed from it nor tried to ?upsell? us on anything either, which we appreciated! The crew came out on a Tuesday and was finished in only few days, which included the removal of the old cracked concrete. The crew was very considerate and extremely clean. They didn?t leave a mess on the rest of the lawn and made sure to pick up after the day?s end. The new patio consists of beautiful pavers that are an attractive ?beige-type? color in the middle and a slightly darker shade as the surrounding border. It highlights it beautifully!

Recent Review: In a word, excellent! We couldn't have been more satisfied with the way this company and it's employees handled themselves. California Smartscape has it dialed in! Richard made me and my wife feel very comfortable with the process from it's inception while guiding us through the process. Andrew, the landscape designer, then came out and had an uncanny means of translating our vision into reality. In fact, the end result far exceeded our wildest imagination! In terms of day to day operations, Jay and Bob took care of overseeing the project and couldn't have been more professional or easier to work with. As with any constuction project, there were minor unforseen obstacles but Jay and Bob were always one step ahead ensuring that we finished ahead of schedule by adapting and overcoming each step of the way. We can't thank California Smartscape enough for all their hardwork, vision and professionalism. We have the most beautiful back yard and driveway in the neighborhood and it has really been great for our family, friends and neighbors to enjoy here in sunny san diego!

Recent Review: It took quite a while for my wife and I to decide exactly what we wanted. The sales rep was very flexible and accommodating with these decisions. He made at least 3 trips to our home and multiple telephone conversations about the project. The work was spread out in 2 parts. The demolishing was done in 2007 and the pavers were installed in 2008. It was separated into two years based on our needs, not theirs. The quality of the work was very good.

Recent Review: Two months ago Oren - the owner, gave me a quote for the job requested. I called him a week ago last Thursday and the demo started last Monday and was completed that Wednesday.I'm a tough customer and the patio was a tough configuration.The job was EXACTLY what I wanted. His men showed up on time, spoke English, and were VERY specific and neat regarding all the details.They took every last bit of trash and concrete nugget with them.A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Recent Review: I would definitely could give 6 stars to this company for each one of the stages of the remodeling that they did at our house. If I could go back to a year ago and know Nir, his company Fine Builders and his professional team then, I would certainly hire them as my contractor for my house addition and remodeling project back then. Since it was the first time remolding a house with a big project as this, we had so many questions and concerns in both construction and finishing products. Every time we visited the any vendor for many types of materials and fixtures, Nir or his employees answered all of our questions, and provided us many great suggestions, ideas and solutions. Nir and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and responsive. We purchased so many finishing products, including tiles, cabinets, lighting fixtures, shower doors, crown molding, baseboard, LED lights, toilets, and more…. (You name it). There were few times that we ordered products or materials in a rush, and they got delivered to us on the same day. The prices that we got from the vendors of Nir were very competitive with additional discounts and the quality and service are great. We haven't encountered any problem with their products. Nir's team remodeled our kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and patio. They did an excellent job and finished it on the time Nir said he will finish it. We were very satisfied with the result of all the rooms that they did and we are so happy to live in the “new house” now. Their work attitude and workmanship really gave us the most pleasant experience during the course of our remodeling project. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for an honest and professional construction contractor and a retailer of finishing products with high quality and reasonable prices.

Not only did they do the job Rudy and Isaac promised -- in less time -- they started the job and never left until they were done. Alonzo and his crew are so professional, so very hardworking - always with a smile - and Alonzo makes wonderful artistic and creative suggestions. I will hire them again as soon- and as often -- as I have a project. They are the absolute best. You can trust them, and you will enjoy their company.

Recent Review: Overall we were very pleased with our experience. Rick was our designer and we used all of the suggestions that gave us. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure that we not only met our design goals, but that we spend our limited budget wisely. Sharon in the office was always helpful and responsive, she was always prompt in returning phone calls and e-mails. Dee was our main contact throughout the project, he listened to our concerns and answered our many questions. We were very fortunate to have Juan as our foreman as he managed the work crew's activities efficiently throughout the work day. Each day that these guys worked it was well over 100 degrees, the heat was unbearable and yet the crew worked tirelessly for the entire day. In summary I would use G & L Design in the future as it is nice to find a company that really cared about making sure that their customer was pleased with the the outcome of the project.stackable bloc

Recent Review: Butel Construction has been wonderful to work with. We couldn't move in until a majority of the work was completed and they completed the job on time and within budget. We didn't hire a designer and Shai (the owner) was able to help us turn our own creative vision into a reality. He was extremely honest and responsive, returning phone calls within an hour or two at the most. We LOVE our home and we will definitely hire Butel Construction again!

Recent Review: Both the work and the prices were great! We got several quotes but ATM had the best prices for a more detailed job. Sam is an artist when it comes to concrete and had wonderful suggestions to improve our ideas. The project design integrated the landscaping and concrete to fit our house. We love the work and we now have the patio and walkway we always wanted. Sam's crew did a lot of prep work to protect the walls and garden/ lawn. I have to say, everything was done on time and the final product looks fantastic. Sam is a very polite man and would do what it takes to get you the design and the product you were dreaming of. Before pouring the cement, Sam personally was there to make sure that his crew got the slope right. He is an A+++ contractor.

Recent Review: Ray has great guys working for him that are knowledgeable, professional and personable. Ray himself was very accommodating, there were a few blips during the process, which is to be expected, but he was so gracious about making them right, and at times I was admittedly a pain in the butt about it. It took me 25 years to finally afford to do all this work and I am so glad Out of all the people I interviewed and got estimates from I chose Ray. He wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive but he was the one who understood exactly what I needed. I have an old house and fancy would have looked awful. Now it's desert-y and a year later it still looks outstanding. I highly recommend Ray, he is a true landscape professional. This was without question the least stressful experience I've had with a contractor.

Recent Review: Tony and Joe (who supervised the crew) were prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful in advising me on the best options for my space. I have a very long driveway which leads to the garage in the back, with a circular driveway in the front. The path that led to the front door from the side (long driveway) was originally loose brick pavers. The crew put in a beautiful curved stamped concrete pathway. They also added an area of stamped concrete at the front entryway. This additional feature was not included in the price quote. Joe also relocated my roses at no additional charge. The patio and pathways in the back surpassed my expectations. I'm extremely pleased with the shapes and colors that were used. The crew was friendly and professional. They were neat and clean, but worked at an efficient pace. It was obvious that they had worked together on a number of projects. They were very pet-friendly, thankfully, as my German shepherd was a tad rambunctious. In discussing this project with Tony, I mentioned that I didn't have the funding that I wanted to complete needed repairs-specifically replacement of damaged tile on kitchen countertop. Tony volunteered to replace the tile at no charge to me. He even volunteered to provide the replacement tile, and wrote the additional work into the contract. We are a house of females. Tony and Joe were respectful at all times and concerned that we be provided with excellent service. I would recommend this company to others without hesitation, and plan to contact Tony when I'm ready for my kitchen upgrade.

Recent Review: When I met with Fernando and explained what I wanted, he understood and immediately provided me with estimates for the work and materials. The 1st job actually turned out to be more complicated and expensive than originally estimated, due to the depth of the concrete patio they removed. This couldn't be determined prior to demolition, however. Beyond that, they met or did better than the rest of the estimates in terms of cost and the time required to complete the jobs. Appropriate DG installation involves removing existing plant material, leveling the surface area, spreading the DG, and most importantly, tamping and watering the DG sufficiently to make a solid surface that will hold up to dogs running and playing on it. Fernando and his crew knew exactly what to do and followed through. The yard has held up beautifully in the month since they completed the job. Their prices were reasonable and their work was professional. Fernando was reliable and honest, and very good at communicating with me at each step of the process, so I knew what to expect and when. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Recent Review: The whole project went great . Omar and his team are very hard working and very efficient. We lived in the house during the remodel and everyone was punctual and courteous. Omar had his own dumpster trailer which helped tremendously. Demo was fast and they got to pouring the new footings right away. Every inspection was fine except some issues more the fault of the architect/engineer than the contractor. They did all the work; concrete, framing, plumbing, electrical, flooring, roofing, doors and windows and contracted out the HVAC, gutters and insulation. It is in everyone’s best interest for the owner to have a good idea of what you want and to let them know to include in the contract. It is also good for you to keep your own records regarding what is paid and when, and any services above and beyond what is written in the original proposal. I would also add that he likes to work fast and the sooner you have stuff ordered and on site the better. That way you don’t waste time waiting for products. There is a trade off for speed and I would say attention to detail is probably not his strong suit. If you see something he is glad to rectify any situation but sometimes small things or attention to detail are missed. I think you have to weigh that against his speed and cost. Overall I would unequivocally use him again and recommend him to others. My architect was impressed and would use him again as well.

Recent Review: Horizon construction & remodeling did a fabulous job on my bathroom. The work was above excellent. Workers were timely thoughtful and professional. I would recommend Horizon to anyone.
