Las Vegas Sod Installation Companies

Very quick turn around between quote and sod installation. They did an excellent job of installing the sod and cleaning up. They even adjusted the old sprinkler system so a new one wouldn't have to be installed. It's been about 3-4 weeks and the grass looks great.

I had serious problems with my new backyard drip irrigation. I also had two breaks in my lawn irrigation, so had been hand-watering my small lawn for several weeks. The company that installed the drip irrigation system would not respond to my calls, so I contacted Pueblo Verde Landscape Maintenance. Adalberto stopped by to give me an estimate, and identified a problem with one of the valves on the spot. He fixed it before he left. They were able to start the rest of the work one week later. Raul, Adalberto's brother, accompanied the crew. He consulted with me throughout the process, which I really appreciated. He redesigned the layout of the lawn irrigation system, as the previous layout caused water to pool on one side. And they quickly resolved the problems with the drip irrigation. They cleaned the entire backyard before they left, and they even cleaned my front yard. Top notch service!

They did a great job prepping the ground. Sod appears to be good quality and is taking to the ground nicely. They did a great job cleaning up after. Joe proactively fixed a sprinkler and didn't charge me for it. I would use them again. Only issue was scheduling. First available appointment for sod install was 3 weeks after the quote. They called me a few days before to say there was an issue with the sod availability/delivery and they needed to push me back 2 more weeks. To compensate for the the delay they agreed to install a temporary fence for me at no charge to keep my dogs off the sod (I already had all fencing materials). I was satisfied they did their best to make up the delay to me.

Met both Chris (owner) & Mike (arborist). Both gentlemen were punctual, professional, friendly, informative, have great personalities and very knowledgeable. Work done to the trees was excellent. Crew was friendly, respectful of our property, efficient, skilled. Everyone did a great job and cleaned up very nicely after the work was done. The price for the work was extremely reasonable, in my opinion. We have a quote for additional landscaping, including installing sod, installing plants and vines, irrigation work, installing stone, and a variety of other miscellaneous work to be done. We will definitely have Mauri Landscapes back out in the spring to do the aforementioned work. Would highly recommend this company. Mauri will be our landscapers for as long as we live in the Vegas area. P.S. We called them based upon their rating and recommendations on Angie's List. Prior to Angie's List, we were not at all familiar with this company. We are very, very pleased with Angie's List and with Mauri Landscaping!

This work was done on a rental property. I was not physically there between the time he laid the sod and the time that I saw the results of the work. I only saw pictures of when the sod was put down and of the sod, dead, two weeks later. The water sprinklers had been set for 3 times a day by another lawn specialist. I asked for sod to be put down in bare spots on my lawn in the middle of July. I asked if another time might be better to lay the sod, but he reassured me that to lay sod in the middle of July in Vegas was not a problem. As evidenced two weeks later by the grass around the sod, it was watered, as suggested, and it was not mowed. Two weeks later, I have dead sod and he won't come back and redo it unless I pay him the same amount that I paid him to begin with. Now that the sod is dead, he tells me there is no guarantee on sod. This was not told to me prior to laying the sod. I did not receive anything to that effect in writing. I had also asked him to quote me on converting the landscaping in the front yard to desert landscaping. I got no response on that. I had left that as a reply to his invoice. His service was quick, but I feel he was more interested in making money quickly and risking bad results than waiting and doing work that would last. Afterall, it's not his lawn. He also needs to check ALL of his email.
