Las Vegas Heat Pump Installation Service

It took a month because their technician failed to note that additional parts had to be replaced in addition to the coil. With the new coil in place, when they started up the unit the heat pump failed. That was no big surprise since the heat pump was at its life expectancy. Its just that the heat pump was working before the coil replacement and not after.

By the time the heat pump was checked, the weather had warmed and the heat pump began to function again. There was no charge for the service call. The serviceman mentioned that the heat unit is old and that a newer model would be more efficient and cost effective, but there was no "hard sell."

Everyone I talked to were helpful and responsive. The serviceman was excellent. He found there was no problem with the heat pump (showed me what I was doing wrong) and did not charge for the heat pump. He checked the furnace throughly and gave a detailed report. The charge I thought was very reasonable.

I received a bid from Sierra of $12,000 for a 3 ton Lennox model XP-14 heat pump. Three months later I had the heat pump replaced with the same model by another Lennox dealer for $6,000.

We met six different employees and from start to finish they were very responsive, had great attitudes and were very knowledgeable and personable. The system works flawlessly.

These guy's went beyond what I consider the norm to service us. We first contacted ACLV about a problem with our Heat Pump and they quickly sent out a service man by the name Huey. He is a extremely professional Service Tech as he got right to the inspection of the system and did a real trouble shoot of the exact problems at hand. We had another company come by for an inspection earlier and all they could do was advise us that the unit was shot and replacement was our only option. Huey checked out the electrical breakers and tested a start up of the system and found that the electrical connect was failing and the fan blade had come loose which stopped the air flow through the coils. He was able to get the system up and operating again without any parts which was amazing,and he suggested we look at replacing the fan motor soon as it may totally fail. The unit was over 15 years old and it had a very low Seer rating with a extremely high operating cost and we were aware that we would be looking at replacing the unit soon. I called their office a few days later and had a conversation with the sales department at ACLV with a gentleman by the name of Steve. He has a great demeanor and is a wealth of information without the high preasure I was getting from other companys. He sent me a quote for the replacement of the unit with options on brand and Seer ratings and he mentioned that we could quailfy for a Nevada Power rebate with the correct unit. Huey had done the test needed to get the rebate for the replacement unit and so we started to look at our options for financing on the replacement unit. A few weeks went by and we had another problem with the old heat pump and sure thing the fan had failed and I called Steve at ACLV and he sent out a tech to se if we could band aid the unit till a new unit could be installed. Service tech Mario stopped by on that Saturday and found that the fan died and he just happened to have a used fan to get the unit up and running. Well he saved the day for us again and we then scheduled the new unit to be installed two days later on Monday afternoon. We also spoke with Steve when ordering the new unit and found that he had great financing that we could not beat so these guy's really hooked us up with the best overall service and price all in one bar none.

there was serious screw-up at first, the man sent to do the work was late, extremely difficult to understand, left the job incomplete with parts and electrical scattered inside the house, never called then turned up at 8pm the next night. in contrast to that horror story, Reuben who had done the initial examination of our system, stepped in and ramrodded the work to finish. he went through each item that had been done again ensuring that all was done properly. he was the last to leave that night and came back the next day to check the operation of the system. this is the kind of service and serviceman one hopes to find but rarely do, he took complete responsibility on behalf of the company owners for screwup and profusely apologized. these are people to depend on

Very well. The job was not rushed. They took the time to do it right and check and clean all components. At one point the tech needed additional skills. Another tech came out very quickly to assist. The job was completed within a few hours for less than the original quote as a discount was given when we mutually agreed to reschedule during the busy holiday season.

We purchased a Trane heat pump from Alaskan Heating and Air Conditioning 3 years ago. We have been very impressed with the quality of the unit. Additionally, they come to Pahrump to check and service the unit every 6 months. They always call in advance to set appointments and if we are not going to be home they will come at our convenience. Everyone we've had contact with has been very courteous, friendly, and professional. Today Matt came to our house to service our unit. He was so friendly, efficient, and polite! We get many calls during the year from other companies, but I am always proud to tell them that we deal only with Alaskan Heating and Air. I would highly recommend them.

Mike from Fast Response came to my home. first thing, great guy. After Mike tested the small things, like fuse first. Would have been cheapest fix. but not. I finally decided to replace my unit. I got three estimates, $15,000 from a "big" name, $8000 and the fast response quote 0f $6500. While mike was figuring things out, we started talking about an old furnace I had in my home. I've had the gas shut off. Just needed someone to get it out of there for me. Mike said that they would take care of it. I ask how much extra? he said, none. I said ok. When all was said and done. New heat pump and an old eye sore gone. I believe they went above and beyond. But, that all being said I was told payment would be $180 a month. The payment is over $200. Not sure who to blame that one on. Bank or fast response? I would use fast Response again.
