Las Vegas Attic Fan Installation

Arrived as agreed. Covered to work area to insure no mess was made. Installed fan very quickly. Very friendly and considerate.

Went great...did a wonderful job putting in the new fan, very pleased with them and will use again for the next fan I have put in!!

Curt installed fan pretty quickly and then worked on my sliding glass door. Determined new hardware was needed to glide properly. Went over 3 other projects that I would like done. Very polite and professional! Next appointment is already set.

The people at Fanco were friendly and helped us pick out some fans that would look good in our house. They were very easy to deal with. I think it's priced ok. You get better fans than you would get at a hardware store. I like my new fans.

It was a very positive experience. The technican who came was Will. He showed up at close to the appointed time and was very efficient in accomplishing the task at hand. It was very apparent that Will knew what he was doing. The new fan is operating perfectly.

ON time! Professional. Considered my hard wood floors and wore cloth booties. the work was done well and and with a smile.

I liked them very much. They had exactly what we wanted and they were very helpful. We didn’t know if we could just buy a light kit or if we had to buy a new fan and we were able to just buy light kits. We asked them if they knew somebody that could install them and the woman there said it is really easy and instructed how to install it. She was very good.

There were some issues with the kitchen sink but they did come back to fix it and everything went fine. The rest of the work was done excellent as well.

When I received a call to schedule an appointment, I learned of an additional fee to assemble new fans....$5 each....ok Then when the installer called enroute, I learned of a $20 trip fee also included. I called the office as the installer suggested and when expressing my "surprise" over the unadvertised trip charge fee, I was told that Angie's List would not let them include mention of the $20 trip charge in the details of their offer. WHY NOT ANGIE? customer's don't like surprises that cost them extra money! both fans installed and working....guess I can climb up and wipe off the installer's fingerprints from the metal that holds the fan blades.

showed up on time. Rudy and a helper went right to work. good attitude and asked how we wanted things done and did it. They did the jobs we had ask for in the order of importance to us but they got everything done. also hired him to come back to do another job. very helpful when you can't do jobs yourself. Put in more time than was originally paid for and didn't charge extra.

Danny removed two ceiling fans - 1 from our living room and moved it into our office and 1 from our master bedroom - into our guest room. When he moved the fan and installed it into the guest room, it was very wobbily. My husband approached him and told him this. He said that he doesn't do anything but install them and sometimes they wobble and sometimes they don't. He informed us that he doesn't balance them, that this service costs extra. He stated that we should just go to Home Depot and buy a $5 balance kit. At this point we should have sent him packing and reduced our out of pocket costs, but we didn't. He then installed the ceiling fan in our office. This ceiling fan was installed correctly with no problems. Then he installed two new ceiling fans: one in our living room and one in our master bedroom. The one in our master bedroom was first. On the lowest speed it was very wobbily so needless to say on the high speed it appeared to be very unsafe....and the bottom part of the fan was crooked. Danny tried to manually straighten out the fan with no success...and again noted that he does not balance fans - stating it just might be a problem with the type of fan that we purchased. He had one last fan to install in our liviing room which was the same exact fan that he installed in our bedroom. He did take a little more time with this fan and we fortunately had a second fan that did not wobble and was not crooked. So we had two out of four fans that did not wobble. The total cost of the install was $240.00 plus he charged $20.00 for a "trip fee", because we lived too far south in Henderson..which we initially didn't mind because his rates were reasonable at $60.00 per fan. The two fans that wobbled just seemed unsafe so we chose not to use them and called out another electrician immediately to have them checked. Our worries were confirmed, the fans were installed with screws that were too small for the fans - and the screws that were there were only hand tight - these fans were a danger to us. For another $200, They have now been installed correctly with absolutley no wobble in them at all. We will never use his services again, and will never recommend him to anyone.

Called Pro Handyman. Tony the handyman sent to help us, was punctual, courteous, and professional. He gave us a free estimate. We've been very pleased with Pro Handyman so far, and cost to complete projects. Just waiting on materials and Pro Handyman to complete the job. One other important thing to mention. I had bought the wrong kind of ceiling fan to mount to the ceiling. Tony took it upon himself to take the fan back to the vendor, and exchange it for a similar fan with the correct mounting end. He not only saved me a trip to the store, but saved me $10 as the new fan was less money. I appreciated his willingness to accomodate us, and get the job done as quickly as possible.

We had trouble getting in touch with him by phone. After we did speak with him he did not contact us for 2 weeks. He never did get back with us. He told us his guy in my area is not working in my area anymore. He told me this after I had bought the fan, and I had less than a week to return the fan. I asked them to try and still come to my home because I had paid for the deal. He told me he had actual customers to go to and that he needed to get back to us later. He never called us back, and I had to contact him again. He claims he did not remember speaking with me. I had tried reaching him about half a dozen times and he never did come out to perform the service. I had the deal refunded and then he offered another deal which I inquired about. After I said that I would submit a report on Angie's List, he offered to perform the service for free. I told him I wanted to check with Angie's List because they are offering the deal. After I told him this he never got back with me. The only time I felt like he was interested in me was when I said that I was going to write a review on Angie's List. He hung up on me the last time I contacted me. I am disappointed by his excuses and his willingness to cut Angie's List out of the Big Deal and of reviews. I would not recommend him. I feel like he is not trustworthy.

Serviceman came to home on time. I had already purchased three fans I wanted installed. He removed the old fans, put up the new fans connected them up and turned them on to check. No problems then and no problems now. Talked him into a little extra as explained above. Service person was very knowledgable and pleasant and charged me exactly what he told me he would charge and there were no surprises. I also had him look at my solar panel array however, there was nothing for him to do. He did explain the way the solar panels work and how they are connected to the grid and supply the house with energy. But they were working ok so there was no need for service. I would definitely give this company all of my business. I am very impressed with the integrity, being on time, the professionalism and the outcome of the work performed.

I purchased three Angie's Deals to have three ceiling fans hung. We purchased the fans, along with a fan light kit and then called Cordan to set up an appointment for installation; they were on the job within an hour! It wasn't a simple, hanging of three ceiling fans. We actually only purchased two new fans, and wanted one existing fan moved to a new location, and a light kit installed on it. So Cordan ended up removing and replacing two fans, as well as removing and relocating another fan, and adding the light kit to it. In addition to this, there was a light fixture in the master bedroom that they removed. At the end of the job, I told them that I realized that they had done much more than what was agreed upon in the Angie's Deal, and asked how much I owed them for the extra work. They said I didn't owe them anything. Excellent customer service, very professional, and we will be using Cordan for all of our electrical needs.
