Went with Mudslingers as they were about $500 less than any other quote. I should have known "you get what you pay for". They called and told me they would be on site to replace the liner on a Friday, so the day before I rented a pump and pumped all water out of pool. It was over two weeks and many, many calls before they showed up to replace the liner. The install did not go well, as only one of the three had experience installing liners. That was a statement they made when they arrived. They were also to paint the coping around the pool, which they failed to do. I called multiple times asking to come out and finish the job, but they never did. Then, a couple of weeks after the install I noticed the water level going down. A visual inspection by myself found that a seam was splitting. This is where even more problems began. I call Mudslingers and was told there was nothing they could do until that had a leak detection company inspect. I told them that you can plainly see that the seam is split and it needed replaced, but they would not come out to look. They scheduled a leak detection company to come out which took over three weeks. When the leak detection employee came out I showed him where the seam was split and he asked why they wasted his time to come out? I agreed with him. Now that the leak was officially detected, it took Mudslingers more than two months to finally replace the liner. They promised numerous install dates and never showed up. I called and spoke with the owner many times requesting they replace my liner as I was adding water daily to keep the water level up and the seam was splitting more and more. He promised it would get taken care of, but they were constant no shows. I finally went into the office, spoke to the owner in person about the replacement. He just shrugged me off and told me they would get to it when they had an opportunity. Very unprofessional. Once the crew finally showed up to replace the liner, it was another very unprofessional install. Only two guys showed up and they didn't appear to have a lot of experience. They scheduled the pool water fill person to show up at a certain time to fill the pool, and when he showed up on time they were nowhere near ready. They actually asked the pool water fill guy to help with the install, which he did so he could speed up the process and not be delayed anymore. It was well into the night before the job was finished and the pool was filled. As I stated before, they were also supposed to paint the coping around the pool, but I told them I didn't want them to touch the coping because I was afraid that they would do a very unprofessional job. My first contact with Mudslingers was April 2013, it was June 2013 before the first liner was installed and August 2013 before the replacement liner was installed. I went almost the entire summer and pool season of 2013 battling with Mudslingers to do a job they were hired and paid to do. UPDATE: ONGOING NEVER ENDING Pool Liner installed DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is how he handled our liner situation. He went as far to post on social media RIGHT AFTER HE SAID HE WOULD GIVE US A REFUND, BUT DIDN'T and said... "Do to unforeseen issues with pre-existing old pools we will no longer be doing liner replacements. That makes Latham Liners look bad because Kim Harper won't honor his mistake, which is the Company they use and that is the liner they put in our pool, they are losing money due to his decision not to replace old liners. DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! Our old liner was good it was just an outdated color, and we wanted a new one. UPDATE: THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE THE 2ND LINER INSTALL IN 2013. After they installed the 2nd liner it immediately began to wrinkle up. On the bottom and sides. I took pictures and sent to Courtney the Office Manager, and she sent me this email. "On Friday, October 4, 2013, office manager wrote: Kim and Brian both looked at the pictures and spoke to the service tech about it. They said that there are No wrinkles. With the coves in the corners, those will vary depending on water temperature and ground water. The liners are not attached to anything. They will consistently move and adjust themselves. Thanks PLEASE SEND CONFIRMATION EMAIL ON RECEIPT OF THIS EMAIL. Mud Slingers 5575 Elmwood Ave ste. D Indianapolis IN 46203 317-650-5131 www.mudslingersinc.com. They would not and still won't come out to look at the pool. The liner is barely 3 years old and it's an eye sore. I don't hesitate when people ask who did the work, they have a bad reputation because everyone knows someone who had a horrible experience with Mudslingers and Kim Harper. The wrinkles are everywhere and the ones on the side are huge. Kim Harper did not measure the pool dimensions properly and won't fix his mistake. He is not professional. He has left responses on others "bad reviews" and his responses were not nice!
