First let me say Dave Van Meter is a stand-up guy. Works hard, shoots straight, easy to talk with. The saleman co-owner (I'm not mentioning by name), however, was extremely disappointing. In the end, our biggest problem came in dealing with the salesman, as he was evasive and made one unrealistic promise after the other. I personally feel he misrepresented his product and his timelines were unreasonable. Dave saved us from having a totally miserable experience. We installed a beacrete finish, I believe the first Med Pools attempted to install. They had numerous problems with the application, including the manufacturer changing the actual color after the order was placed. Dave and his FlatCat crew worked very hard to make it work. I understand problems occur, they did, but Dave did his best to rectify. If our salesman had been upfront about product, experience and time expectations, we could have had a pleasant experience. Not great, but pleasant. Dave offered to resurface the pool at our choice of time, but we decided to have another company do it. Structurally, the pool is wonderful and we enjoy it a lot.
