He installed our ground level as a continuous floor where other bidders had wanted to use transitions. We were so pleased with his craftsmanship and demeanor that we had him come back to do our stairs and the upstairs hall as well.

I shopped around and had Schriber's do some temporary carpet in my living room knowing later on I would do a complete gut and redo. Later when I gutted and after I applied new subfloor I shopped again for vinyl plank. A great finished floor may require some prep work. Most places wanted me to do the prep work, and since I don't know much about prep it would make for a subpar finished product. If you get a quote that says you do the prep, then the company won't stand behind the finished product because you're responsible for the prep work. Troy understood what I wanted, and would do what was required to make it look great. And I think it does look great. The best endorsement a company can get is repeat business. So when I'm ready to do my bathroom that's who I'm calling. That'll be 3 jobs from me. So I feel confident you'll receive the same quality. Don't waste your time at the flooring store.

Lowe's Home Improvement
Our experience with Lowes floor sales, installation, and Customer Support (Control Production Office) was pretty bad. We purchased a vinyl plank floor (Smartcore) and installation from Lowes at the Carmel store. As soon as the installation was completed, we realized the floor would moved and wiggled at random spots and would also produce noises as we walked over. We contacted Customer Support numerous times and after a lot of complaining, Lowes asked the installer and manufacturer to evaluate their own work & materials. Of course , they concluded there was no problem and the wiggling, movement, and noise were normal in this type of floor. If Lowes would have made us aware that they were selling us a floor that would wiggle, move, and produce noises as we walked over, we would have never purchased this type of floor. Customer Service (Control Production Office) was specially bad during this entire process.

Tish Flooring
Beware when getting a quote from and doing business with this company! Their first proposal was very reasonable but had the comment that there may be added fees to level floors, if needed. They sent out the floor evaluator who said that the additional work would be minimal. In good faith, we gave a substantial deposit. I guess they were not making enough money on the job, so they sent a team of three people out to do the same evaluation. A few days later, their revised cost proposal came with an additional $6K to do the job. A 40% increase from the original quote. After much discussion with Tish, they would not budge. Other quotes were obtained, and we contracted with another company to do the work for the same amount of the original quote Tish had provided. To add insult to injury, we were charge a substantial restocking fee! Never again with they have that opportunity!

Tish Flooring
I contacted Tish Flooring off of Angies List around December of 2013. The Salesman was originally responsive and came out to do an estimate. There were some unfortunate circumstances and the estimate was lost, so they said they'd come back. However they failed to show up to the appointment. Later I contacted the company through Angies list to give them a second chance. I was put in touch with a second salesman. I met with them and they brought no product with them. We had a few communications via email, but they were atleast a week apart most times. I last heard from them about a month ago, with no resolution. I have since bought flooring from another company. Also the sales people aren't very helpful in picking out products to suit the needs of the household. Update 4/16/2015 The sales rep did not have any samples with her, I asked that it be priced after I went online to the website and looked at the sales. I was never guided to know if it was appropriate for my home (dogs, cats and high traffic). She welcomed me to come to the store to view the samples, because she assumed I had picked out things with the first sales rep. Which I had - however I wasn't sure of what they were. The last email I received stated "I?ll look for something similar that is within your budget amount and we can go from there. Let me know if you have any additional questions." I never heard back.

They worked with me to help me find the material that would look good with my cabinets and colors. They installed the floor and arrived on time. When I found a small raised place in the floor, they immediately worked with me to resolve the issue. I would recommend them as they work with the customer in a friendly, professional manner from sale to installation and warranty. Once the floor is installed, they continue to follow up if there are any issues. They willingly worked on a Saturday to resolve a minor issue.

Rob Wright Flooring
I’ve used Rob before for laminate flooring installation. Our home’s floors are a mixture of original vinyl (utility room), tile (both bathrooms), and three different kinds of laminate. We had a half wall separating our kitchen removed by another contractor. Then Rob removed all but the bathroom tile and installed new vinyl. It runs the same direction throughout the house and only utilizes transition strips at the bathroom doors Rob is very easy to deal with. He’s really laid back, very polite, knows how to talk to people, and keeps the customer satisfied. He’s been doing this a long time and knows how to get good results. Rob usually starts to work after 9am, getting his kids off th school before work. He works steadily as long as it takes to get the job done in the scheduled time. I’m not sure if he smokes, never saw him. His helper smokes but goes to his truck to do so. They played music during the day but it wasn’t objectionable. We specifically talked about what people like and don’t like. I will certainly call Rob again should I need his help and will definitely recommend him to others.

Recent Review: Got 3 quotes and decided to go with Tish. Buzz came out and talked to me about different flooring choices and my options on the installation of carpet and vinyl plank flooring. The price was fair and the scheduling was quick and easy. I had to pay more for an add on that Buzz had told me was possible. The bathroom floor had to be torn out and taken down to the original sub floor and built up about 3/4 inches to the original floor. The install was quick and painless and the installers were very professional and worked quickly. The new floors look amazing and I couldn't be happier with the finished product.
