I had previously installed a tall tub dishwasher to replace my old short tub dishwasher, and the larger door on the new dishwasher struck the oven making it impossible to open the dishwasher door all the way. (Dishwasher install was not done by Danson) I called Dan to ask if it would be possible to move the dishwasher 1/2" to the left to avoid the oven door, which would have involved a significant amount of custom cabinet work. He would have to cut out a cabinet wall, replace it further in, shave down a cabinet door, and more. Dan arrived and examined the problem, and determined that we could avoid all that by simply angling the dishwasher a little bit in its current space to avoid the oven door. Basically the left side of the dishwasher is about a half an inch closer to the back wall than the right side, so when the door opens, it angles and avoids the oven. He performed the repair, which only took a few minutes, for free. I am THRILLED not to have to tear apart my kitchen or pay the expense of custom millwork. The angling of the dishwasher is hardly noticeable, and solved the problem quickly and cheaply.
