Recent Review: While on an out of town vacation, our air conditioner compressor finally died. I called Top Shelf, as it had good reviews on Angie's List. My call was answered promptly by the owner himself. He discussed with me several options; we set up an appointment as soon as we arrived back. The owner was prompt and punctual and made a thorough examination of our needs. I was offered several options and ultimately selected the top product. The next day, Top Shelf came out, punctual again, and installed our new air conditioner. They were courteous and polite; their installation was minimally intrusive which was nice as we were recovering from vacation. They installed our new unit professionally and completed all kinds of tests to ensure everything was perfect operationally. They cleaned up very well after themselves, something not seen a lot. Their pricing was competitive, especially for Trane products.

Recent Review: Technician Aaron diagnosed a serious leak in the system on 6/18/13 and discussed the alternatives: leak tracing, repairing and refilling at very high cost per pound of obsolete freon type or replacing the whole system. I decided that replacing the system made sense. The replacement was scheduled for Friday 6/21/13. Ron and Cody arrived at 8 am and finished by 10 am. They installed a 4 ton AC condenser and new coil in the furnace.

Recent Review: Courtney Zahn came out and inspected the chimney and several other areas of the house as requested. He photographed each area and was very knowledgeable and professional in explaining what and why the various repairs were neccessary. A detailed proposal and cost estimate was written up but there was no high pressure sales pitch, which I appreciated. After a second inspection with a different company I chose to go with Masonry Outfitters. Basically, the work on the stone siding and on the chimney was completed in one day and then the chimney waterproofing was applied 30 days later as specified. Both Courtney and Kenny were very easy to work with and I am very pleased with the repairs to my house.

Recent Review: A friend of our's referred us to Mark when we were shopping to replace our old HVAC system. We found Mark to be very professional and he did a great job with installing a new HVAC system for our home. He priced a Goodman HVAC system that came to be much cheaper than other providers we contacted at the time. It's been almost a year since and we have had zero problems with the system. I would definitely recommend Mark to my friends and family.

Recent Review: Our air conditioner stopped working and I called 4 different companies to assess the problem. Everyone confirmed the air conditioner would need to be replaced. Precision was one of the 4 companies I called and Tom Archer came out to my house within about 2 hours of calling him. Tom was very professional and was able to answer all of my questions and help me weigh my options and the options from his competitors. He was never pushy but instead helped me figure out the best solution to replacing both my AC and Furnace, both of which were the original systems installed in the house 15 years ago. I selected Precision Comfort to replace both the AC and Furnace based on Tom - I liked him and felt he was very honest. Precision was not the highest priced nor were they the cheapeast. They did seem very fair with their prices and were able to provide me with a system I felt was best for our house that wasn't the "top of the line" like two of the others tried to sell me. Precision came out the day after I made up my mind and took two days to finish the job. The installers were also very professional and respectful of my time and house. They took great care during the installation and make sure everything was clean before they left. They also spent time walking my wife through the operation of the system. I have been very happy with the new Carrier AC and Furnace and would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Recent Review: I was very well pleased with the work performed and the product delivered. The only exception was when, after the installation work was completed, the thermostat control for my furnace and central air conditioner was non-functional. However, upon having the diagnostic work performed by another company to get the thermostat controls operational again, I was informed that a very tiny fuse installed on/in the furnace--which acts as some sort of trip wire when certain functions take place--burned out but that the plumber would not have known of this connection between the furnace and the water heater. So I do not hold Roby's plumbing work responsible for this failure although it did cost me another $88 to get the thermostat controls operational again.

Recent Review: Steve and his son were on time, got to work on the problem, and fixed it in a timely manner. They did a thorough job, using the proper materials (unlike the initial installer, who used white Teflon tape on gas!), putting the good pipe back together such that we have 100% confidence that we will not have any problems for many years. I would highly recommend calling Steve.

Recent Review: Larry Howald, the owner of Howald Heating and Air Conditioning, came to our home and inspected our functioning but old equipment. He then came back about 2 days later with a folder containing his best suggestions for replacing our old equipment. He answered all our questions completely and honestly, and then left us to make our own decisions. When we agreed to have Howald do the work for us, they arrived on the day and at the time that we had arranged. They worked steadily and finished the job on time. They taught us how to use our new thermostats and other equipment, They were careful to keep the carpeted stairs and floors covered and protected. All of their workers were polite and helpful. We're pleased with our new furnace and air conditioner, and would recommend Howald to anyone!

Recent Review: Efficient Systems did an excellent job of cleaning and servicing my central a/c unit. Even though there was some difficulty working around weather issues they were in communication regarding the schedule appointment and alternative choices. Marty, the technician, was on time and very professional. I will try to request him for each service. They immediately email a report of their findings which is awesome. Marty made some future recommendations and what was really nice was the fact that there were NO scare-tactics to have them done immediately. I will definitely be using them again.

Recent Review: They did an excellent job. They went above and beyond. They also installed some new duct work for me because mine was in bad shape and there was no extra charge for that. They also had a great warranty.

Recent Review: MY AIR CONDITIONING QUIT WORKING ON AN 85 DEGREE, MUGGY SATURDAY. AIRTRON CAME WITHIN AN HOUR & SPENT THE DAY REPLACING THE UNIT & THE FURNACE. BECAUSE I AM DISABLED, THEY PUT A RUSH ON THE WORK.

Recent Review: Our furnace quit working mid-afternoon on a recent Wednesday. We called for a technician about 8 p.m. and he arrived after completing two other service calls about 10 p.m. After reviewing the situation, he determined that the circuit board had gone out on our 16 year old furnace. Due to the age, the relatively low-end quality of the furnace when installed and that we were already monitoring a couple of other issues, it was determined that we needed a new furnace. The salesman came out on Thursday morning and talked over options, including replacing the even older central air conditioning system. Because the team of technicians would be unable to to come do the installation until the following day, the salesman went to a local hardware store and purchase multiple space heaters for us so that we could remain at home with our pets and to monitor the pipes. They were able to get us systems that qualified for several discounts and rebates. The installation team arrived promptly at 8 a.m. Friday morning and worked without break all day. They had to not only remove our old units, but also our recently installed new water heater in order to get to the work area they needed to reach. They were efficient, professional, and hard working. They had the new equipment installed and our water heater re-installed and heat flowing by 4 p.m.
