I was very pleased with the work performed by Mitchell Rockwell. Mitchell presented himself with professionalism and courtesy. I will certainly use Rockwell for future woodworking related projects. Mitchell took care in measuring and mitering the moulding to achieve the desired results. I was especially happy with the look of the moulding he installed under my island. He had to work around metal supports holding the granite countertop and cover drywall that was damaged during the granite installation. The results look great. I was anxious to have my cabinet knobs and pulls installed and pleased that they are sturdy and aligned properly.

I was able to email my to-do list to Craig, and he replied a few hours later with an estimate. He said that if all the jobs didn't take him as long as he anticipated, he would only charge me for the hours he worked. He ended up going about an hour longer than he expected, and still only charged me for the 8 hours he predicted it would take. That's unheard of!! He was prompt, neat, and took care of everything on the list. I would definitely recommend him.

Tom was excellent to work with on this project He had great ideas to make the best use of tight spaces. They completely demolished the old outdated kitchen and replaced the cabinets, hardware, counters, tile and lighting. The actual crew that did the work was clean cut, polite and a pleasure to have in my house. Pioneer wants their customers to be happy, and it showed. Their attention to detail was wonderful. I had them back a couple times to make a couple small changes, and they were happy to do it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Pioneer is very easy and pleasant to work with. They designed a very beautiful kitchen and completed the installation of the cabinets in only two and 1/2 days. They were helpful in choosing the cabinets, hardware, and appliances, and tried to do so within our budget. Their installers were very careful to contain any dust to the work area, and our house was as clean at the end of each workday as at the beginning. Our experience with a subcontractor that Pioneer suggested was much less pleasing in comparison. But Tom helped improve the service from this company when we asked for his help, and ultimately we were very happy with the finished product.

It was a great experience working with Indiana Kitchen Company! Everyone we met there was very friendly and helpful. Our designer Shari was a delightful source of wisdom with design questions we had. We pretty much knew what we wanted going into the project, but when we came to hesitations on which way to go with certain decisions, she was terrific at outlining the pros and cons, i.e. had a hard time deciding cabinet hardware. Her help was terrific and we love the look! A very big point early on was with the cabinets themselves. Since we had some unique design requirements, she knew who could provide us with the "best bang for the buck" resulting is beautiful... less expensive... custom made cabinets! We are very happy with Indiana Kitchen Company and would not hesitate to use them again!

We live in a 1940's era home with a small, 9X10 kitchen. I provided the salesman (Tom Jeffers) with a photo-layout of my dream kitchen from a magazine. He worked with me to help me select the cabinets, hardware, countertops, tile backsplash, appliances, and finishings that would achieve the desired outcome within my budget. I was very pleased with the way Tom worked with me from the start. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and gently guided me to the right choices for our home. About a month later, the project was underway. We were hoping to get our new kitchen finished for the holidays, and we were under a tight schedule to get everything completed before Thanksgiving and a house full of out of town guests. The sub-contractors and installers were very professional and worked with us to make sure the project would be done in time! Family members/friends assisted us with the demo and removal of the old cabinets, pantry and tile. Pioneer Kitchens and their subcontractors came in and prepared the plaster walls for new cabinets, removed a window and closed it off, perfectly matching the brick exterior, installed all new lighting fixtures, including recessed lighting in the ceiling (which required new drywall to be hung over the plaster ceiling), and installed new hardwood floors. This process took about a week. Then the cabinets, countertops and appliances arrived and things moved very quickly into place. Once the appliances, cabinets, and countertops were set, the tile backsplash was installed. The cabinet hardware was installed, and the installer noticed one of the drawer fronts was damaged. He immediately got on the phone and had a new one on its way. It was installed a week later. About that time, I noticed that the microwave had a small dent in the side, and they took care of contacting the appliance store and had a new one installed right away. We have been living with this wonderful kitchen for about six months now, and could not be happier! We love the kitchen, the layout, the design, the finishings--everything about it. Thank you, Pioneer Kitchens!

We were referred to Dan and Kline by a friend who had used them for a large kitchen remodel. We weren't sure if we would be able to afford doing custom cabinetry for our master bathroom remodel, but thought it was worth a shot as even stock cabinets were going to be a significant expense and not exactly what we wanted for the space. We made an appointment with Dan, who came by, measured our space, and saw some of our sketched plans. We had a couple ideas at this point as we had looked at several cabinet supplier options, but hadn't really nailed anything down. Dan was very professional, friendly, and helpful. A bit after the meeting, he sent us some proposed plans with quoted pricing. We decided that these guys were definitely going to fit our need and our budget (even if we needed to commit a few extra dollars to this part of the project). A few weeks later, when we had the time, we went to the showroom to look at finishes, styles, and talk about pricing. We got to do some tweaks of the overall design, picked a beautiful dark cherry finish, and found some hardware that suited us well (included in the price). We even had them do a custom mirror design based on a style that we had seen in a hotel and we gave them some sketches. There were lots of nice bonuses to doing the custom cabinets, like getting a good height for us (both taller) and getting a good mix of drawers and cabinets is a slightly odd width space. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Chris, Kameron, and Nick did an outstanding job remodeling our kitchen (installing new cabinets, drywall repair, electrical, installing gas cooktop and downdraft vent, tiling the backsplash, etc.). All three men are true professionals in every sense of the word. They are polite, courteous, and left our kitchen virtually spotless when they left each day. Chris and his sons definitely are perfectionists, who do not rush anything. If you take my advice and hire them for your next project, plan on it taking a little longer than you’d expect. But, the results are well worth the wait. After looking over our finished product, there isn’t a thing I’d change about the work they did. Their initial bid seemed a little high, but turned out to be very reasonable considering the amount of time they spent and the quality of their work.

Bob Lyle is the consumate professional. We were fortunate to read "Reclaiming your your cabinets" in the April 2012 issue of Angie's List magazine. We had struggled previuosly with the reality of buying all new cabinetry. Although it was difficult to imagine that our cabinets would have staying power by "merely" refinishing, we engaged Bob for an estimate/consultation, as we had nothing to lose. Bob brought a variety of samples and explained in depth the process from start to finish. We were also planning to install new countertops and backsplash, and Bob provided his learned advise regarding the sequencing of the various jobs on our list. It took Bob and his able assistant perhaps 3-4 days in our kitchen (much of the time was spent in meticulous preparation) and a few days in his own shop - where he refinished all the panels. Bob's itemized estimate was clear and thorough, just like his execution. Regardless of our question, big or small, Bob provided good answers. The job started and finished as planned. The job site was kept well-organized and clean from start to finish. There was no aspect of the engagement that was not totally professional and reliable. One does not meet craftsmen like Bob everyday. He has singular focus on his craft and although he strives to satisfies his customers (and does it very well), it appeared to me that Bob's primary motivation to do quality work and provide quality service is quite simply because of the pride he has in his work. We need more people like that. I highly recommend Finish Alternatives, without reservation.

Dan Hayes from Kline visited my home to see my kitchen, take measurements and plan the new cabinets. He listened carefully to what I wanted and made good suggestions. At first I wanted painted cabinets. Dan invited me to the showroom and workshop to see all their selections. Kline makes the cabinets right there in Maxwell, IN using hard woods grown in Indiana, if possible. As soon as I walked into the showroom I saw the White Maple and changed my mind from painted Maple to clear coated White Maple. I was also able to pick my counter top and cabinet hardware while at the showroom. Kline cabinetmakers came to my home to install the cabinets. The cabinets are unbelievably beautiful - really the highlight of my kitchen. But the cabinets go way beyond beautiful; they are sturdy, solid, drawers glide, and the hinges are strong. These cabinets will last - beauty with the brawn to stand up to a working kitchen and the brains of good design.

It went well overall. A few things on our to-do list were not able to be completed because of the time required for other things. First off, let me preface: Home Depot was the worst experience we've ever had in terms of ordering product. We had damaged good after damaged good, delay after delay because of them. That being said, Dan was one of the most patient and understanding people I've ever met. He talked through why we didn't want to use the damaged pieces and how they were damaged. He even helped us explain to Home Depot the exact problem that had occurred so it could be remedied. Because of all the delays and the unique nature of some of our projects (namely the converted pocket door to doggy/baby gate), Dan had to make several trips to and from our house. He was always extremely pleasant, explained each aspect of the project, and explained what had to be done to rectify the most recent problem Home Depot had created. On top of that, on his first visit one of our dogs (we jokingly referred to her the remainder of the time he worked at our house as "the killer") snapped at Dan. Even though that could have been a major issue, Dan was understanding and by the end of the 4 months (YES, Home Depot caused the projects to be extended that long), "The Killer" and our other dog "The Coward" were Dan's best friends. When you speak with him, ask him about those two. They miss him! His crew is amazing as well: Paul does a wonderful job painting and is extremely friendly. Chris was a delight. Every time he was at our house, he worked quickly, diligently, and did so without sacrificing any quality. The jobs were done and Our only issue was that, on occasion, Dan was difficult to get a hold of. All you have to do is be patient and direct with your expectations. Bottom line: Dan did an incredible job. Be honest and direct with what you want and he will not disappoint. Thank you, Dan for an great experience on our first home renovation!

Recent Review: All Phase Group provided us with a timeline which was over Thanksgiving Holiday and they met the timeline perfect. The owner was in constant touch and responded the same day answers. The communication was excellent. The work involved some use of sub contractors, all of whom were very professional. The workers tried their best to control dust, with only one setback, which was understandable. Each contractor would clean their work area every day and disposed of all waste from the job. The short story began with an estimate and a referral from our youngest son who was very pleased with All Phase Group. We obtained three quotes and All Phase was not the lowest but was the most professional. We met with the owner to look at granite and quartz tops, plumbing fixtures and new cabinet hardware. When all the components were selected, they gave us the start date, timeline, and all required phone number and email addresses. Kathy Cuppy, owner, requires all questions, problems (if any), and change orders go through her for proper control. She visits the job to assure it is on schedule and the work is being completed as agreed. All Phase Group does one job at a time for control, quality, and professionalism. You cannot ask for better communication. We took progress photos every day and these pictures confirm what iI have stated. I know all future work I require on our home will be done by All Phase Group. I will not seek bids.

Recent Review: The whole experience was fantastic. In the design stage Trillium was very receptive to our wishes. Many designers are more interested in using a project as their canvas, to try their ideas with your budget and are not very receptive to your ideas. Not so with Trillium. The design was just what we had in mind. In addition to a great design, they made many excellent funtional recommendations as well. Trillium was very helpful beyond just the cabinet design but also with cabinet hardware, backsplash tile and cabinet lighting. The cabinets themselves are outstanding quality. Trillium built these from scratch as they're fully custom cabinets. The wood working and finishing are outstanding. We could not be happier. Trillium installed the cabinets themselves with the care of those who built them. It's not an easy task since the design was rather involved. They were very accomodating as well. The cabinet stain was a concern since it can't really be changed. They made many fully finished wood samples for us to review. They had great understanding of how the wood species and stain would interact. The finish turned out fantastic. In fact the whole kitchen turned out fantastic. We've engaged Trillium for two new projects. So yes, we would use them again.

Recent Review: We love, love, love the cabinets and movable cart. Nathan and his father Kyle Young craft beautiful and stunning cabinetry. He sent me emails with photos of the progress of the construction in their workshop in Spencer, IN. All cabinets were handmade with sturdy hinges. When we decided to remodel our kitchen, I visited the Owen County Cabinet showroom in Trafalgar, IN and decided that we wanted them to make the cabinets for us. We then found a contractor to do the other parts of the kitchen remodel. The Youngs were very patient with us because it took me an extended amount of time to gather all the other plans for the remodeling to begin. Nathan was flexible when scheduling the installation and he did a great job. The Young's are artists and wonderful craftsmen. We wanted sturdy, well constructed, unique and gorgeous cabinetry. Owen County Cabinet delivered that and much more. Thank you!

Recent Review: We purchased a deal through Angie's List to have design plans drawn up for our master bath by Lifestyle Group. Geoff came to our house to take measurements and listen to our ideas. Once the plans were complete, we went to the Lifestyle office to view them and discuss. We met with Geoff and Kiersten and looked over everything that had been drawn and proposed. We had to make a couple of changes to the first plan, but after that, we agreed to the updated plan and used it as our springboard. Geoff has quite an easy going manner, so it was a pleasant experience to work through all the details with him. He isn't pushy and is willing to answer a lot of questions...thank goodness, because we had quite a few! We looked at various vanity, flooring, and counter samples that we might select. Just looking around their showroom will produce lots of ideas. We did decide to go forward with the remodel and met again at the LIfestyle office to sign the contract. Since we have done remodeling projects in the past, we know this is an important step in the process, and we appreciated Geoff's patience with us as we once again peppered him with questions. Geoff and Kiersten were both really great about communicating with us before and throughout the project, which is why we think this all went so smoothly. After the contract was signed, Geoff directed us where to go to select fixtures and finishes. Our bathroom remodel got underway in January. We have to say that the guys that LIfestyle sent to our home were just the best! Professional, courteous, respectful, personable. ALL of them. And they cleaned up the work area every afternoon when they left! After having had lots of workers in our home for previous projects, we have to say that Lifestyle's crew is awesome! From plumbing, flooring, and drywall, to tiling, grouting, and painting, we thought it all went just like it should. If there was an issue, (and we only had a couple that were taken care of pronto,) LIfestyle uses a communication system that makes it easy for a client to reach them via email. These emails are promptly answered, which let us know Kiersten was on top of things. The guys that were here to work were also very aware of issues that arose, so they were in contact with Kiersten, as well. Our bathroom project was completed in about eight weeks. The master looks beautiful and is as functional as we had hoped when it was designed. We look forward to using Lifestyle Group on our next project.
