Indianapolis Countertop Repair

Brian was very personable, knowledgeable, and honest. He suggested we wait a year or two for minor veining repairs so that the countertop would finish and quot;settlingand quot; and we wouldn't have to pay for repairs twice. He spent about 35 minutes at my house making suggestions and offering advice. This was a very good experience. Customer service at its best. He will definitely get my business when it's time.

We have a custom-made (not by The Countertop Shop) oak cabinet in our dining room and I was on the floor putting some items away in it and leaned on the open door, apparently too heavily, to balance myself getting up and the door broke off at the panel joint. The fellow who made the cabinet for us no longer does that kind of work and so I decided to try The Countertop Shop to determine what could be done, since it was not a completely clean break - an area where there were small nails had splintered off on both sides. They were very kind, said they could fix it. They re-glued and lightly sanded it and had it back to us the next morning, good as new! You can't even tell where it had splintered.

James came out the same day that I called and assembled the bed and hung the pictures. He came back a couple of days later (at my request because I had houseguests). and built the breakfast bar for my kitchen and tiled it with granite tile. He also finished my kitchen backsplash and fixed some tiles on my kitchen floor that had been disrupted months ago when I had new cabinets installed by Lowe's. The Lowe's contract workers installed the cabinets, but didn't repair the tiles on the floor which no longer fit up against the edge of the cabinets. While he was here, James also fixed a door that didn't close properly and did some other minor tasks. James did beautiful work on everything that he worked on in my home. He has been working on bathrooms and kitchens since he was a teenager, and he is a very skilled craftsman. He seems to have a natural ability for tile work and repair work of all kinds. He is efficient and exacting. He is also polite, good natured, and honest. His price was very reasonable. I recommend James Serviss enthusiastically. to other Angie's List members. He is extremely skilled and capable and pleasant to work with..

Andy did an excellent job repairing a section of our granite counter top that came loose after my 6'3", 230lb sophomore decided to jump on it. He was very responsive and quickly came out to repair the drywall and ensure the granite company properly re-set the granite in place. He also repaired some drywall work in our stairwell and it turned out great.

A great experience! We have used this group on 4 different projects to remodel two bathrooms and to build a year-round mostly window sunroom and a side porch. In addition- this team was able to do a repair on a dormer of our home that 4 other companies were unable to fix- preventing additional water damage (even though repairs are not normally in their scope of work). The crew was amazing and the communication of how the work was progressing was excellent. We would HIGHLY recommend using this company to design, execute and polish any home remodeling or building project. They were flexible in the work plan- allowing us to save some money by us pre-staining the wood for our cathedral ceiling. They were creative in helping us to find solutions so that we had the exact outcome we pictured and desired. Very hard working crew, friendly and polite. Cleaned up the work area as well. Again- we HIGHLY recommend this team. GREAT JOB!!!!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went fine. We had an issue, but they came out and fixed it. We purchased it from Lowe's and then they had an installer put it in, and then I had an issue right over my dishwasher so I called them, and they came out and fixed it. It went well. They were very pleasant, very informative about what they were doing, and gave me a number that if I have any issue with any of the installation part or something coming undone, we will call them and not Lowe's so that's what I did. They came right out and fixed it. You get what you pay for. They were right back out here and fixed it when I had an issue with it. They were good.

Great! A little mix up on scheduling the start date - but all was fixed well and the project was fantastic!

I was not happy with the quality of workmanship. They came back after I complained and fixed things the best they could. I would not use them again.

I needed some help with a home project I was doing myself. I needed to find someone who would sand or plane some older oak plank flooring that I scavenged from a spare bedroom to use in replacing a large section of hardwood in a central area of our house. I found Elroy Richardson and was very pleased with his service. He ran all the planks through his planer and got them back to within a week. He gave me excellent input (I solicited it) on some technique questions I had on the project and couldn't have been more courteous and meticulous. Very high quality and reasonable prices.

They came out to our home with the right equipment and the right people and were able to repair all of the laminate that was defective on the furniture. Their customer service was excellent.

Excellent. Matt and his help installed heated flooring, retiled the floor and shower, repaired drywall, installed all new cabinets, hardware, and countertops. Excellent work!

They worked out an expensive way to repair the cabinet. Took the pieces back to the shop and came back two weeks later with finished product.

The only hitch in the install was that the large piece of quartz scratched the wall and new cabinets. The damage was very miner and after some touch up it is barley noticeable. My suggestion to them would be to protect the cabinets (they are the hardest to fix or live with a marred cabinet). Damage the wall or trim if in doubt. That is so much easier to fix.

They were fantastic. We ran into problems with my cabinets that were not their fault by any means. They worked with me while I was able to get that fixed and moved things around so that they could put my granite in at the earliest possible time after I got the cabinets fixed. I would recommend them highly.
