Randy was offering a tile and grout cleaning Big Deal special in conjunction with Angie's List. After we purchased the deal, I contacted him by email to schedule an appointment. We decided on a date and Randy stopped by a week or so ahead of time to assess the job. Randy returned with a helper to complete the work the following week. Everything went smoothly and we're very pleased with the work. DJ is a good company and we would not hesitate to call them again.

The ceramic tile grout lines in our kitchen, master bath, and guest bath were difficult to clean, plus the grout color seemed to be too light when compared to the tile. Previously used all kinds of methods to clean and reseal the grout over the past few years but was still dissatisfied with the results. Thanks to Angie's List, came across Mr. Grout & Tile, one of whose services is changing grout color. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate. At that time, received a cost estimate, scheduled the date to do the actual work, and picked a new grout color using Tony's guidance and experience. On the work date, he showed up right on time even though the weather turned bad and traffic was delaying travel. The tile and grout was thoroughly cleaned, the grout recolored, and the floors buffed. Tony took care to clean up during each step of the process. The tile looks so much better because with the grout now more closely matching the tile, you now see the floor in total rather than seeing every individual tile when the grout was lighter. The properties in the grout colorant are supposed to make it easier to clean in the future. Very pleased!

Chris promptly called back and came the next day to look at the job. He gave me a quote and a date and time (10 days later) to come back and do the work. He came and did the work at the date and time on the estimate. I appreciate that he really knows how to repair grout, he quoted the work and performed the work - no sub's etc... He was clean, neat and quick. He is an expert at repairing grout. He had previously repainted a large kitchen and nook ceramic tile grout for me in my old house. It looked amazing and helped to sell the house because the floors looked terrific. I recommend you call Grout Solutions if you have any grout problems. Tile lasts a long time - but the grout doesn't. If you maintain the grout, you will save money and your tiled area will look great.

Recent Review: They did a good job but whatever they used turned the grout in certain spots from white to yellow. We had to have someone come back and clean the grout for us. The marble looks great, though, and they buffed out all of the scratches. They might have been willing to come and clean the grout but we just called someone else to take care of that. Their price was similar to all of the other companies that gave me a quote.

It was not anything special. They just did a standard job. Perfectly frank on carpet cleaning I am not in favor after having had it done for the second time in the last 25 years at home. I am not a believer in carpet cleaning. It looks great when you need to sell your house. Having the carpets cleaned makes the house look really beautiful for about a month. But as soon as the temperature starts to rise and the house gets humid again within a month or two, most of the issues you have had before starts to come back. I would not have a professional carpet cleaner come in and do my house again. Nothing wrong with Stanley Steemer, I would not have it done by anybody. I would rather replace the carpeting after 6 to 7 years. That is my belief on it. Or change my floor to wood and tile and give up the carpeting. Nothing against Stanley Steemer, they did a fine job at a fair price. My own personal experience with carpet cleaning is one that it does not last long enough to make worth the money. I did not know Stanley Steemer did grout cleaning on tile until they came. If you issues with grout they come do it with the machines. It might take you a day or two to do it by hand by yourself; they can knock it off in an hour and half. They have a machine that is designed to do it. This machines shoots steam in a narrow band similar size to grout line on tile. Then it suctions back up the moisture that condenses from the steam in the similar manner. So they go line by line super fast which would take you hours and may be even days to do. I did not know that they did it and it was helpful for me. That piece of their I would do again. They did good solid job.
