I had a good experience with this company in the past for some construction work.. I recommended them to my sister in Woodland for some remodeling work and designing, and the last time I visited her I was surprised at how nice the renovation was in her house. What I like the most about it was the dropped ceiling with the spot lights and the unique colors. I also liked the quality of the hardwood flooring and tile. It was really nice. He did a great job. He was very thorough, and talked through what he was planning on doing in each area. One room where the drywall had been ripped out on the bottoms of two walls is our garage, which we walled in about 1.5 years ago and turned into a home music studio. As a result, repairing the walls took some extra care and attention to the details needed to truly re-seal the wall acoustically. If this had not been done properly, it would have completely negated all the effort put into the construction of an acoustical "room within a room" that makes it possible to isolate the room from the rest of the house, and the outdoors. The sound wood bleed through the walls and disturb the neighbors, and my sleeping kids! Wayne listened carefully to my explanation of the details that needed to be handled on the drywall in order to restore the needed sound isolation, made some suggestions of his own, and followed through with all the requirements. I've tested the soundproofing of the walls since he finished, and the acoustical isolation has been restored. In addition, his work in general in the other parts of the house just looks good. He did all of the work himself to ensure high quality results. Great job

Wayne came over to give me a quote for quite a bit of drywall work repairing areas where the previous home owner had put up drywall but not taped correctly. Wayne also replaced a section of water damaged drywall and textured a few areas where new drywall had been put up to make everything consistent in each room. This was a tough job and Ed did great work. Our existing ceiling was out of level by nearly an inch and the fix was not going to be easy. Ed came up with a good solution and the end product looked great! He also installed tile on 2 walls of the bathroom.These were existing walls and like the ceiling, there were bumps and curves. Ed did a beautiful job. Anytime an issue came up he made sure to consult with us on the best way to proceed to make sure we would be happy with the end product. I was very happy with his attention to detail and would use him again

I accidentally punched a hole in my ceiling drywall while working in the attic. As luck would have it, this was in the high ceiling area of the house. I contacted a couple of providers to fix this, but Jose from Arguera's Paint was quick to call back. I thought his estimate was fair, considering the tricky location of the hole, and he was able to schedule the job very quickly. We were on a tight schedule during a remodel before we officially moved into the home. April called back and showed interest, even though it was a small job, but for us it was mission critical. She had a special running at the same time and was booked pretty solid within the time frame that we needed her. As a result she went above and beyond to schedule the appointments, showed up on time, and worked later than she wanted to. We bought the drywall, her crew came in and put it up and they tapped. My wife and I then did the second coat in between due to April's schedule and on the 3rd coat her and her team came back and touched everything up

Greg and his crew were skilled, efficient and nice people to work with. Greg accommodated our small job and worked with our unique request to install soundproofing material to an existing wall. They also worked in a very tight space outside to install the acoustical fence. The wall came out looking good. The crew did a good job installing the soundproofing material, which was not a product they had worked with before. They also did a good job keeping the room tidy and cleaned it up well along the way as well as upon completion of the job. We were happy with the job and hope to use Black and White Construction's services for future work.
