Houston Refrigerator Repair

Bad experience with this company. My freezer was not getting cold. I called them and set-up an appointment. The repair guy came out my husband and I were told that the fan needed to be replaced agreed to the repair at a cost of $289.00 was told with 24 hours the freezer should be back to normal, after 24 hours freezer was not cold actually was getting worse along with the refrigerator now is not cool, called them back he returned to say now it’s the condenser that needed to be replaced at a cost of $165.20 so again agreed to have it replace (refrigerator is only 6 yrs old) so ok..but after another 24 hrs of waiting nothing is working called them back again and was told ok will have someone come out at 5:00 PM..After waiting until 5:20 PM I called to inquire if anyone was coming out and was told it’s the compressor and would cost $400.00 yes $400.00 without checking anything at this point I didn’t trust them and asked for a refund i’m still waiting on that. Called a certified GE repair man who diagnosed the people with a computer and was told it was the sealed system failure. So people be aware of this company I don’t think he was certified like that claim to be.

The entire process was great. Lupe helped troubleshoot the problem over the phone and was able to arrive with the appropriate part in hand. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this company.

Refrigerator was leaking water, Jerry came out and diagnosed, replaced and repaired the refrigerator.

Good, job was done but could have completed in the first visit if he had the part required for testing freon level

I got a call back almost immediately after I called them. They showed up on time and found the problem quickly. The technician called around to find the part and left. He returned about 45 minutes later with the part and fix my refrigerator. I believe they went above and beyond.

Uptown Appliance is very professional and punctual and after the work is done they follow up with a phone call to make sure the job was completed properly. They are very respectful of property and their workers are very polite. I have used them twice and would not hesitate to call them again should I need an appliance repair and would also highly recommend them.

Ad clearly states company provides refrigerator repair, but was told by representative that they did not repair refrigerators.

Technician was very professional, completed his task and cleaned up after work was completed; very satisfied with work quality and experience.

Andy's Appliance Repair came out the same day I called and I was given an explanation of what was wrong with my refrigerator. I took my time before deciding to move forward with the repair and Andy's was patient with me and answered all my questions as I worked through my decision process. Once I decided Andy's was very quick to repair my appliance. I would recommend Andy's in a heartbeat and will use them again for any future appliance repairs.

Called the appliance repair number listed on Angie's List. Call was returned within an hour saying Jerry would call back and set up an appointment for that afternoon. Jerry did call back, showed up on time, and knew exactly what the problem was with the refrigerator. Fortunately it was a fairly easy fix that involved melting some ice that had accumulated where it should not have been. He was very careful to make sure that the kitchen didn't get all wet and that everything was cleaned up when he was finished. He answered all my questions along the way. He told me to call him directly the following morning if the refrigerator had not cooled back down as expected. I did not have to as the repair fixed what was wrong.
