EMB Construction, LLC
It went very smoothly and much better than I could have imagined. Rudy and his crew were very helpful and mindful of keeping the dust down and keeping us informed with what was going to be happening next as the project moved along and what items we needed pick out . Rudy helped us pick out tile and other bathroom features and was very receptive to the design ideas we had in our heads and was able to bring them to life. Would highly recommend

Great attention to detail and desire to do exactly what the customer wants. Danny Shattuck was our installer and he made sure the work was done precisely the way he would do it if it was his own home. I can’t imagine anyone doing a better job.

We did not use the service but Cameron was very professional, estimate was provided to us sooner than we expected.

Diego and his team did a wonderful job remodeling our master bathroom. He took my basic ideas and his design expertise to add some nice touches that turned a nice bathroom into a great bathroom. His crews were always respectful and they cleaned up every day to minimize impact on our living space during the remodel. And the most important thing to me is quality. Diego checked all of the work to ensure that everything was good before the job was complete

AIS Stone & Marble Inc
AIS stone and Marble did a fantastic job remodeling my Master Bathroom. The results are absolutely phenomenal! JT is an awesome person to work with. He was extremely helpful with selections and design choices. My bathroom had been damaged due to a leak in the shower, I hired another company to do the work initially but that relationship had to be terminated. JT stepped in with a very fair bid and lots of expertise. He also came highly recommended by two of my co-workers. Everything was done well and on time! Let me also add that he does an excellent job communicating throughout the process. He even helped me save additional money on some purchase items and recommended some other contractors to help with other services as well! Hands down he must be one of the best in the business! Fair, Honest, Personable, Knowledgable and Professional! He has my stamp of approval

Baladez Construction, Inc.
We hired Baladez Construction to update our master bathroom. Daniel was very open and transparent on pricing, which helped us stay on budget. They tore out and replaced the tile on the floor, shower, and tub surround, as well as changing out our vanity counter and sinks. The team had a great attention to detail, and overall just did an excellent job. We are already recommending them to our friends for their projects

Roger's Handyman services totally remodeled my master bathroom in Feb/Mar 2016. They did a great job. I am very pleased with the outcome at the time and I still am. My house was built in 1984 and the bathroom was original; small room with tub and toilet and a vanity with one sink area that was part of the bedroom. The remodel work included installing a glass shower with a bench and two shower heads, a new vanity with two sinks, new flooring, new toilet, a wall with door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. The proposal for the work was very precise and detailed. During the remodel I requested a few changes to the proposal and revisions were made very smoothly. The cost for each update was clearly explained when I inquired. I neglected to ask about the cost of additional painting and picking up a vanity and was surprised by those costs, but that was my error. This is advice for anyone doing remodeling when adding on upgrades or any changes to the plan: Inquire about the cost; do not assume. Overall the final cost was a little high but not the highest quote I received. The saying you pay for what you get applies. My remodel was quality work. The project was run very well with clear communication of decision deadlines on design choices- tile, grout, fixtures etc. There was a small hiccup when a cold and hot water connection was reversed but this was immediately corrected with no impact. The workers were very professional and worked hard. They arrived on time and did the work scheduled. The work was done in a very timely manner over a month period. I appreciated that very much. I strongly recommend Roger's Handyman service. I would definitely hire again. I've included 3 pictures of before the remodel and 6 pictures of after the remodel

Tri Way Enterprises provided a thorough bid that entailed accurate estimates of each item within the entire project. Jim was responsive throughout the entire project that did take longer than estimated however the quality of work was excellent. We are very satisfied with the outcome and love our new updated bathroom

The Special Touch
Ernesto and his guys did a wonderful job remodeling our bathroom. He basically rebuilt the shower including installing the P-Trap and replaced some corroded copper pipes in the wall. He installed a nice window in the shower that my wife loves. His tile and paint work is excellent. He installed new tile floors as well as tile backsplashes around the vanity and shower. He also installed a custom made shower skirt to match the tile backsplahes, floor and shower. We would highly recommend him

Howton Construction LLC
Awesome! I had great help with design and picking out materials. It was painless and relatively quick. Our master bath needed a total redo as it hadn't been done in over 30 years. The price they quoted was very similar to the final cost (a little more due to some fixes that had to be done and my picking slightly more expensive materials). They do use subcontractors for a lot of the work, but Mr. Howton was on-site on a very regular basis and did a good portion of the work too. All of the subcontractors were professional and did excellent jobs. They left everything spotless everyday! So considerate to the trauma that a 3-week renovation brings to the people living through it. I would recommend them to everyone. They are honest, reliable, timely and friendly. My master bath is so beautiful, I can't believe its mine

We are very happy with our newly remodeled bathrooms! The remodel was done in a timely and efficient manner. I would definitely use Kindred Renovations on our next remodel.

Renninger Remodeling & Repair
Doors - installation and fit excellent. One was finished to match oak-stained woodwork. No one can tell it is not wood. Bathroom - new tile floor and tile and glass shower. New whirlpool tub and tile and granite enclosure. New granite countertop and undermount sinks. Granite window shelf. New toilet. Moved some cabinets and reversed a door. All new light and plumbing fixtures. New ceiling fan and new exhaust vent. Textured and painted formerly papered walls. Garth is great to work with. Some great ideas for enhancing the look of the room. Work progressed well except waiting for a couple of city code inspections. No code issues. Maybe not the cheapest, but quality and care are tops. A family business. If we need more interior remodeling, we will call Garth

Trifection Remodeling & Construction
We are pleased to give a very positive recommendation for Trifection. We have had experience with numerous contractors over the years after enduring several crises from tornado, lightning and water damage and Trifection are the best we have encountered. The renovation end product, after a complete kitchen tear-down and semi master bathroom tear down, is excellent. We love the shower, the kitchen cabinets and the granite counter tops. Our journey was long due to our search for just the right granite material; to the necessity to plan and document every last detail; and due to the unexpected supply chain delays caused by the Covid virus. However, the result was well worth it. Project execution was smooth. All of the trades (demolition, plumbing, electrical, tiling and carpentry) did high quality work and were well coordinated by Mike the project manager. Our goals were to eliminate safety hazards for aging in place and to gain more storage and work space, these were well met. Although we continued to live in the house during the three months of actual project work, we came out of it happy and ready to enjoy our rejuvenated safe, efficient and attractive home
This was my first bathroom remodel. I got estimated from two other contractors. Usa Cabinet Store estimate was the best. Hasan helped us sort out the detail of our new bathroom. The showroom at Houston provided us many great idea. The whole family participated in the design process from showroom examples. We were able to design our new bathroom in 2 hours. The work started one time. Crew worked on the new bathroom every workday until it is completed. Crew consulted with us throughout the renovation to ensure work is done to our satisfaction. During the project, we did not like using wood as baseboard of the bathroom. We came up with an idea to use decoration and tile instead of baseboard. Crew took on the extra work and finished our beautiful new bathroom on time without extra charge. We are very happy with our new bathroom
We had a wonderful experience with this project. We love the new kitchen. They did everything that was promised and more. We’re really happy!! Ronnie and his family and crew are wonderful to work with.
Mario and his team did an amazing job with my kitchen renovation. Not only they worked fast and efficiently, but also provided the modern design ideas we needed to go with the rest of the house. The cost was totally worth it, you get what you pay for and our kitchen couldn’t be more beatiful!!!. We will hire them for the new cabana addition coming up soon. I know that they will do another beautiful, clean, and functional job
Isaac did great he listened to everything I told him and completed the job. We had a big water leak and it became a nightmare but the crew brought us back to normal and upgraded what we had in the passed! Great work!
We hired Calvin for a master bathroom renovation. First of all he was very knowledgeable & honest when we had him out to bid on the project. He noticed things other contractors didn?t & he gave a good explanation of some of the snags we may hit with changing the layout of the bathroom. He provided a very clear estimate & excellent guidance and advice on purchasing fixtures. Throughout the project Calvin was professional, friendly and above all easy to work with! He is always prompt with his communications and provides accurate estimates of how longs things will take him. The quality of his work was fantastic; I am especially amazed at his tile work around my tub. This was my first renovation experience and it went so smoothly that I am eager to hire Calvin for my next project
I came across DS Total Remodeling after doing a lot of research. I invited Sammy to come bid my mother's condo, which was a complete remodel where we were making many changes and taking everything down to the studs. Of all 4 bids my entire family unanimously agreed to go with Sammy, while his bid was not the cheapest we instantly felt comfortable. We immediately got the impression that he knows what he is doing, has great ideas, and can deliver. And indeed Sammy did deliver way beyond our expectations. Excellent craftsmanship, amazing eye for details, very efficient in pace, and the best part was Sammy came by everyday himself and worked with his team. The condo came out fantastic, and I have already sent 2-3 jobs to Sammy and every single person thanked me for introducing them to him. Best decision we ever made
Tileworks Remodeling came a day early. They completed the work on budget. They did a really good job. They did not finish for the day until the day's work was completed. They worked on Saturdays. I got exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted to spend.
This project affected every area of my home so planning and coordination was critical. It was essential for me to maintain a busy work schedule outside the house while the ABF team transformed the living space within. In addition, I was able to enjoy one stop shopping and avoid running all over town in search of materials. The transformation was complete in five weeks - on time, to spec and within budget. It was not necessary to move into a hotel or camp with friends. I am a HAPPY CUSTOMER! We started by defining the scope of the project and selecting the materials. In one afternoon, floor tile, wood laminate and carpet were selected. Custom vanities were designed, counter top materials chosen, and shower and tub tiles were selected. The store is stocked with an array of sample materials offering adequate choice and price. We also scheduled painting both bathrooms and the master bedroom. Crown molding was added in the master bath and bedroom. A proposal was presented that detailed the work and price breakdown. David, my ABF Project Manager, suggested a tile pattern using two sizes of tile. The finished effect was outstanding! We used this pattern on tile floors for the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. Laminate wood replaced old carpet in the living room, dining area, study and entry. The three bedrooms were re-carpeted. We replaced the master bath jetted tub with a soaking tub and refinished the original bath tub in the hall bathroom. The shower door was replaced by a beautiful frameless door. I provided plumbing and lighting fixtures that the ABF team installed. The installation team is cross functional and a certified plumber and certified electrician were called in as required. The floor installer and his helper were like human machines! They demolished floors and showers and moved household belongings from one place to the next to keep the job moving. They worked clean by covering and taping to protect my belongings but also vacuumed to keep the tile and concrete dust contained. They cleaned up after each task and before leaving each day. The floor installer set the pace for the job and maintained an aggressive schedule. His multi-functional skills alleviated down time, waiting for an electrician or plumber to complete minor tasks, so he could progress with his work. He is an accomplished craftsman and handyman. He tiled floors and showers, and laid laminate floor. The cuts, shaping and finish of tile and wood are excellent quality. Lines are straight and finishes clean and neat. Detail and perfection are his strength. The electrician was outstanding! That man and his helpers installed a ceiling fan in the master bath that was a monumental task. Other contractors were unwilling to accept this challenge. My thirteen year desire for a ceiling fan has finally been fulfilled!!! May I add, he installed updated lighting in the kitchen, dining room, entry hall and hall-ways. He made several suggestions for placement and types of fixtures that made a pivotal difference in the kitchen and both bathrooms. The cabinet maker is an artisan! Skill, material and innovation do not disappoint. I love my new drawers and cabinets!!!! The ABF team was professional in every way. They worked steady, did not waste time and were self-starters. Work areas, inside and outside, were neat and clean. The Project Manager called or stopped by each day to review the activity and answer any questions. We executed a successful project without incident or dissatisfaction
I hired Reggie Collins to update my master suite. The floor salesman recommended him. I had purchased the flooring and tile, but I could see that there were many loose ends that needed to be addressed - the remodel would take lots more than just flooring and tile. Reggie came to my house and boasted about his skills and capabilities. He told me that he was certified in all skill areas - electrical, painting, repairs, tile, you name it - he had to be certified to work in California. Reggie was a great talker, and, really, a very creative guy with some really good ideas. I liked him. I hired him. Reggie promised a lot of things in those first meetings. He promised great care with covering all of my belongings to protect them from the dust. He promised a very detailed multi-paged quote with each individual piece of the job outlined with all costs line-itemed. He promised skilled labor teams with whom he worked, trusted and were experienced. I told him I didn't want day laborers picked up off the street in the morning. He laughed at such a thought. I didn't get a detailed quote. Just a two page overview with 5 broad categories and pricing for each. That was my first red flag, but I stupidly didn't push it. I thought I could trust him, and that it was coming. The demolition started on February 20th. NOTHING was covered. They didn't wear masks or have any ventilation. It was awful. I had to ask him to cover things. He threw some tarps over some stuf in the bedroomf. I suggested they wear masks. They didn't. He ended up with a lung infection. The clothes in the master closet were blanketed with thick construction dust. Then the crews came for electrical and tile installation. Then the real nightmare began. The tile job was complex, with niches(Reggie's idea), the ceiling of the shower to be tiled (Reggie's idea), the wall with glass tile accents, and tile around the existing Jacuzzi tub. This crew couldn't speak English, Reggie was nowhere to be found, and they were completely incapable of doing anything other than laying flat tile on the floor. In the closet, they couldn't even do that right. There were gaps under the baseboard, the niches were horrifying, the ceiling bowed, lights were crooked.... need I say more. They assured me that they could do "what I wanted." (NOTE: NOT what was right, simply what I wanted. They took NO responsibility for their crappy work. They all blamed ME for not accepting their crap.) I allowed them to rip it out and try again. NO SUPERVISION AGAIN. CRAPPY WORK AGAIN. That was the last straw. I wanted them out of my house. Reggie had to find someone else. He over paid them and was running out of money. We interviewed multiple tile installers. Most were busy. Most cost more than Reggie had left to pay them. This dragged on for several months. Meanwhile, the electricians that he hired had problems. They installed two fans in the master suite and didn't know how to set the switches so that the fans could run independently. They also couldn't figure out how to set the remote for the new fan in the bathroom area. They put too many lights on one circuit and Reggie had to hire new electricians to come in and fix that problem. By this time. MONTHS had gone by, and now Reggie had no money left to pay the painters, so he decided that he would do the painting himself. There were lots of holes in the sheetrock from electrical work that needed repair. Reggie assured me that he could do it. He tried. It looked like a preschooler had come at the wall with goo and smeared it around and painted over it. It really looked AWFUL. I insisted that he hire real painters. He did, and the finished painting is beautiful. (We used JLF Painting, btw.) Then, the finishing details had to be done. The bamboo wall needed to be put back up. I paid Reggie to do it. He tried twice, and couldn't get the bamboo vertical. He'd get halfway done, and it would be leaning at an angle. I finally told him to forget it. My husband and I did it. It is beautiful AND vertical! Reggie promised me that he would clean everything before turning over the job. When I returned from our three week summer vacation the job was supposed to be done. The room was absolutely FILTHY. He hung lights without cleaning them first... not to mention after. I had to clean the floor three times to get all the construction dirt off. My husband caulked the floor in the closet to hide the spaces. It looks real nice now. The shower had not been caulked. The tub was caulked with the wrong color caulk. I had to hire the tile installer to come back and do it. (We finally settled on Terry Washington, Terry's Tile and Remodeling, and he was WONDERFUL.) The job took 6 months to complete. It was not a pleasant experience. I had to oversee everything. I might as well have been the general myself. In fact, when I do my kitchen remodel, I AM going to be my own general contractor. I've learned that nobody looks out for my interests like me. I will give Reggie credit for fixing most of the big things that were wrong and needed fixing. If I stood my ground and insisted, he would fix the problem. The problem was that he didn't seem to really know what he was doing AND he doesn't seem to care or be interested in quality details. He didn't hire skilled people, and he didn't oversee their work. He didn't fix problems unless I pointed them out. When I did point them out, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. He didn't ASK me what I wanted before he barged in and did things. He didn't collaborate with me. He didn't look out for me. He didn't make sure the work done was quality work. He made lots of promises that he didn't/couldn't keep. There were so many details about what went wrong that I could write pages. These are just the highlights. I won't be hiring Reggie again

What do customers in Houston say about Remodel Master Bathroom?
Rick's quality work from his dependable crew was done on schedule within time frame estimated at a competitive price. We were very happy with the work on the total project. Much coordination was needed with sub-contractors for specific tasks/jobs. He was very attentive in picking up additional supplies from venders. Our design was followed along with our preferences. Protection was provided for our flooring/room furnishings and closet. Crews took care to dispose of refuse within a few days as the extensive demolition took nearly 2 full weeks. Plumbing drains were relocated, electrical additions as well as custom cabinetry for separate vanities and specialty tiling were all replaced! This was the largest and most costly home renovation we have undertaken in the past 30+ years. Planning/preparation were key as well as quality products and thoroughness of our designer who coordinated with Rick's O's Construction & Remodeling. On this second project with his company, we were very pleased with the outcome and are enjoying our new bathroom!
