He is an interesting person. He is a handyman and has a lot of knowledge on all types of jobs. He is close to half price of what someone else charges.

I've hired Richard for various handyman projects. The beautiful front door to my new townhome needed repairs, including (a) scraping/removing stain from glass portion, (b) replacing worn flashing/weather stripping (there was a nice gap between the frame and door allowing inside air to escape), (c) filling in small gouge on interior side of door, and (d) fresh paint/stain. I had contacted 2 of the door refinishing firms promoted by Angie's List. They just wanted to nickle and dime me with fees for inside versus outside of door, etc. Richard took the project on and I am really pleased with the results

I think they did a good job. Their appointment process is good. They contact you back, come and make an estimate, and then send a guy over to do the job. The quality of the weather stripping is much better than what you could buy at the hardware store.

I don't know what the gentleman's name was but he was so efficient, he was fast and he got the job done and he cleaned up what little mess he made. I would hire them again and I do know that the doors that this company makes are beautiful, they made one for my daughter's house, and she had a great experience with them. I would recommend this company to everyone

Mr. Moore arrived, introduced himself, and gave me two business cards. He was very professional from the start. We quickly reviewed jobs to be done then went to Lowes to purchase materials. He progressed quickly from one job to the next. I was especially impressed with his determination to do the job right. He has high standards for his work. He not only did an excellent job, he cleaned up all work areas. I highly recommend this business and will use Mr. Moore again soon

They did a great job. You can't find copper weather stripping in the store anymore, and they are about the only people who do this. They are responsive. They come when they say they will. Their prices were reasonable. They do a really nice job.

My front door suddenly would not shut last evening. I couldn't identify the immediate problem so I started calling around to see if a professional could help me. I was nervous, naturally, about being unable to use my front door. Three contacts (door installer, 2 handymen) I reached declined this small job, but I finally reached Mr. Bush at almost 9:00 p.m. First, I was so grateful he even picked up the phone. Second, he told me he'd stop by my house on his way to his first job this morning. As promised, he arrived at 8:30 a.m., assessed the situation and gave me a quote within 5 minutes, performed the work and was gone by 9:00 a.m. He shaved down the weather stripping at the threshold that had shifted due to 1) improper installation and 2) current weather conditions. Moreover, Mr. Bush was pleasant, helpful, professional, reassuring, and competent. I am so relieved he remedied the situation so quickly and without having to remove or modify the door. I am already thinking about new jobs around my house for which I will call Mr. Bush. I highly recommend him

The weather stripping on the doors was terrible. Its pieced together and looks bad. I will have to redo the front door myself. The other work was good. I told them I wanted it done right which he said he would do, but didn't. It may seem like a small thing, but I paid $69. For it and it should look like a professional did it not a little kid.Otherwise, I did get a good price on the radiant barrier & the attic floor looks good

We ordered a replacement storm door from Lowes. It took longer than expected to arrive. She had no trouble rescheduling the job. We were pleasantly surprised that she was able to have someone come out the very next day. The repairmen arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. They had difficulty installing the storm door due to the unusual installation of our old door. It took them a couple of additional hours due to old door configuration. They stayed with the job until the door was installed perfectly. They were very efficient on all jobs they did that day, cleaned up their work area thoroughly, and took the old storm door away. Annie is a joy to work with. She was very prompt returning all phone calls. We talked several times before scheduling the job.She submited a written proposal for the job, called to follow up when the job was finished and submited an invoice via email which I promptly and happily paid. I will definitely use her company again for all my handyman needs

He does quality work! He works efficiently, showed up early, and stayed until the job was finished. They cleaned up after themselves and provided all their own supplies. They're able to do both small and large jobs, and have a very quick response time.

Handyman Matters Of Houston

The gentleman that came to fix my door showed up ready to work dressed up like he was prepared for a night out on the town, studded up in fancy cowboy boots and cowboy hat on his head. I wasn't sure if he was ready to work or dance. The repair was patched and I was glad to see him leave the house. Very unprofessional young man named Louis. Incredibly expensive repair, but thankfully it's finished. A stressful afternoon having him at my home. He wasn't very confiident in his abilities and at one point told me he'd broken the spring pump for the door and that I'd have to order a new one, but my husband managed to fix it. He struggled with the door for hours even after replacing weather stripping, he couldn't get the door to cooperate. This repair just didn't go the way it should have in my opinion, but it looks alright, a little rigged and patched, but it's parr for the course. I'll look elsewhere for a carpenter

Estimate was more reasonable for the work required than the other bids I received. I was told it would only take a couple of days. I was satisfied with the progress made on the first day, but then the delays started happening. I understand that things happen, and that delays occur, but it took 2 weeks for the repair to be completed, and not everything included in the estimate was done. I was more than patient with the delays, and in the end decided to just cut my losses and finish it myself. They came unprepared, and had to borrow my tools and supplies. I ended up getting $25 knocked off due to that. In the end, the major project I needed a professional to do got done: the drywall repair. In the end it looks like it was done well, however the delays and time it took to complete were a bit unreasonable. Work included in estimate: -Paint 1 wall. -Install weather stripping. -Repair drywall (2 sheets), finish, paint. -Spray bleach for water damage. -Repair 3 holes in drywall, texture, touch up paint. -Repair baseboard, paint. -Touch up door molding. In the end: -Wall painted to my satisfaction. -Weather stripping installed to my satisfaction, however required adjustment by me afterward. -Drywall repaired to my satisfaction, including finish and paint. -I'm unclear, but I'm not convinced that they ever sprayed. -Holes patched with spackle - no texture, no paint. I finished it myself. -Baseboard partially repaired, no paint. I finished it myself. -Door moulding not touched. I did it myself. The guys were nice enough, and what they did finish was done ok, but it definitely didn't leave me with the desire to use them for future work. If they had said up front that it would take a week or two, that would be one thing. But to be told 3 days and it actually take two weeks - and still be unfinished - seemed excessive to me

Gary is always on time and very trustworthy. I helped moved bedroom furniture and he removed carpet. He then removed the exterior rotted trim around the chimney then went to hardware store and bought supplies. Came back and finished installing new trim and painted. Then took down my entry door that wouldn't close between garage and kitchen. Took it outside and trimmed off the bottom. Removed and replaced weather stripping and reset the door. Then replaced light switches and outlets

Dave responded to my call and we set a date. He brought a helper and together they did the repairs within an hour. Dave went to Lowe's to pick up weather strip plates, and I reimbursed him the cost (under $20). I was pleased with his service. I will be using his services in the future to repair a wooden gate outside and to replace I light fixture. Linda Migur
They did a good job on replacing the weather stripping around the doors that led to the outside. I had to provide the weather stripping, but I knew that was part of the deal that I purchased.
Handyman team came in with a great quote and quality work. I would definitely use them again for other repairs/updates around the house. They were honest in their work and completed everything within a reasonable time frame.
We have used Mr. Anderson for carpentry and general handyman work on several occasions. Scott is very knowledgeable about carpentry and many other aspects of home repair and maintenance. Scott has helped us with tasks as varied as repairing drawers, replacing doors and porch posts, roof repair and even helped me to build a tree house for my kids. His work is top notch and is completed quickly and at reasonable cost. Upon completion of the work, the job sites were left in a neat and clean manner. Scott is nice guy and pleasant to work with. We recommend him without any reservations and definitely I hope to work with him again on future projects
The work was excellent and they got everything done effectively and efficiently, and they cleaned up after themselves very well. The bill for this 50 minutes of work was $210, which was more than I was expecting. Perhaps my expectations are unreasonable, as I have not hired an electrician in quite a while. However, I think I can hire a low level accountant or attorney pretty easily for an hour for this amount of money. In any case, I will gladly recommend the quality of their work, but I feel the cost may have been a bit high
I would definitely recommend Blake. Two of my tubs had to be removed and converted to stand-in showers and McGowen Remodeling did a fantastic job with both. Very professional. They took time to do it right, were tidy (did not leave a mess / any garbage behind) and followed up to make sure everything was OK. Excellent work ethics. I would hire them in a heartbeat
It went Great! This was the first time I’ve ever used Angi and I was very pleased with the work that Jayke did. He showed up at the time he told us he he would be there which is very much appreciated. He worked on our floors all day and did a great job! I would highly recommend him to anyone.
This was the best handyman experience I have ever had. It is rare that everything goes right, but ACE Handyman Services Houston Post Oak did everything right. They did a great job on my Atrium. I will use ACE Handyman Services in the future. The Lady that made my appointment was kind and helpful. The two gentlemen that did the work were honest, intelligent, hardworking, fast, and asked me questions that looked out for my best interests
Quick handyman came out and saved the day! We hit hit a snag when attempting to install a new lock system by stripping one of the screws. After many failed attempts at removing the screw, we knew we had to call a professional. Quick handyman answered the call right away and actually arrived promptly and early. He was polite courteous and knowledgeable, as he didn’t even need to refer to the install instructions. They finished the job quickly and we have to mention he was available on the Saturday afternoon. Would definitely refer and work with again
Excellent - very quick response to my request for help. I especially appreciated how Flip Team Mgmt scheduled the work as quickly as their schedule would allow. Max purchased supplies and paint to repair and match the exterior perfectly. Quality work with excellent attention to detail. I highly recommend and will hire again
Great communication and very professional. The workers that showed up were courteous and kept us well informed as to how things were progressing. I have already talked to them about some additional work we’d like done.

What do customers in Houston say about Install Weather Stripping?
Dave is a nice person to work with. He showed up on time with a helper as the front and back doors had to be removed to replace the weather stripping on the bottom. I will be calling him again for other jobs around the house. Only complaint was the front closet door was scraped and needs some paint, but I'm sure that was due to the tiny working area. Not a real problem.
