Provider came to our house and installed a new gas log. Did a great job. Took about an hour. Arrived on time with everything they needed to complete the job.

Charlie and his crew did everything from the design To the installation of my brand new backyard. To the installation of my brand new backyard. Very Professional and responsive to ALL of my requests regardless of how minor. Would definitely recommend.

The company was professional and a pleasure to deal with. They arrived on time, precisely as scheduled, and installed fireplace doors for a lower price that I had been quoted by two other companies. In addition to the scheduled installation, they also fixed two important safety problems that the original installer had left me with - a broken gas regulator dial and an incorrectly-sized gas orifice. (The original installer had skipped town with my door deposit.) I was amazed that John, the technician, discovered and fixed the problems within a short time after arriving. I would definitely call Perfection Fireplaces again for this type of problem or for any future problems with my natural gas fireplace

Guardian Chimney Sweep
Guardian owner Billy Little showed up on time. He was all business, and he was on the roof in the blink of an eye. He removed our old chimney cover, and installed the new cap. He was meticulous with all the little details, like flashing and sealing. Once the roof unit was installed, Billy installed the damper cable inside the fireplace. He then showed me how to use the new unit, and he provided me with a lifetime warranty card from the manufacturer to fill out and mail in. We received exactly what we expected, a professional job from a professional company

Baron's Chimney Service
Baron's did a great job. He was on time, professional and got all the work performed quicker than he estimated. There were several repairs needed on the fireplace/chimney inside and out. The top of the chimney was repaired with new concrete, a new cap was installed, mortar was added/replaced on brick on outside of chimney and inside the house the fire box was rebuilt and repaired. Would definitely use Barons again. Was very pleased with all the work!

H-Towne & Around Remodelers, Inc.
Great experience from start to finish: - reached out to JR after finding his company on Angi. JR responded promptly, arrange for time to visit, was on time and professional and turned a competitive quote within a day or two - once the custom door was ready, his team arrived and worked for two days to remove windows, replace those with a door and redo drywall around the new door. Adjusted fast when encountered an issue with existing frame, but figured it out. The door looks great. They cleaned up during and after work/finish and were super professional. - had an issue with an outdoor plug they installed, JR responded very quickly and had his person come back to adjust on same day. And then had his electrician come and rearrange the rest. Works perfectly now. In short, I would certainly use JR and his team again and would certainly recommend to others. Provides great service, stands behind his work and all at a fair price

FIREPLACE MAN INC
Great— Robert took care of the installation. It also required coordination with a plumber to turn off and on the gas to the fireplace since Robert doesn’t do that.

Showed up on time, did what they said they would, complied with our specifications, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job.

Guardian Chimney Sweep
Installation went fine, however when it came time to pay, the price did not match the quote we were originally given. Contractor advertises that the first service call fee is applied to the total cost of repairs, this was verbally confirmed by my husband and the contractor, but did not happen when he finished our install. My husband called about it a few days later and we still have not heard back from them. Make sure you get it in writing

Bay Area Chimney Sweep
The installer was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining my options, including up-front cost and long-tern costs and maintenance (my biggest concern). I chose to replace my existing set on the spot. Within one hour my chimney was swept, tacky fireplace doors removed, brick cleaned, old logs and starter removed and a new, beautiful set of gas logs were lighting up my fireplace. And he even repainted the interior of the firebox with a fresh coat of black paint. It looks brand new! Now I'm just wanting for the next cold front..

Guardian Chimney Sweep
They provided a new burner and also installed it for us. There was an extra cost of about $35.00 for this service. They were able to complete the job in about 30 minutes.

Baron's Chimney Service
For years, our fireplace would smell musty after a rain. Then the chimney cap broke and blew off. There was not a way to secure a new cap. We had several bids, and all said that the flue was cracked and the concrete chimney cap was crumbling. The entire center of the chimney needed to be removed and replaced, and a cap installed. Ted did a good job of explaining the damage and the repairs that would be done. The work was done professionally and on time, with good clean up afterward. In addition, Ted added a free fireplace cleaning and refurbishing, which was needed after so many years of water leaking into the chimney and fireplace. We were definitely satisfied with the job

CUNNINGHAM GAS PRODUCTS
BAD FROM BEGINNING TO END. SALESPERSON IN STORE WAS PUSHY, CONDESCENDING, GAVE ME ERRONEOUS DATE, & NAME OF WRONG PERSON FOR INSTALLATION OF LOGS & MEASURING FOR DOOR. DIFFERENT PERSON SHOWED UP ON DIFFERENT DAY & DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING. LOGS LOOKED RIDICULOUS, ALL PERFECTLY LINED UP. NOW AFTER 4 WEEKS OF WAITING FOUND OUT TODAY THAT NEW GLASS DOORS NEVER GOT ORDERED, A "MIX-UP" IN THE OFFICE. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES ALL AROUND

They were very prompt to do the initial inspection and meet with me over options. My fireplace was about 16 years old and the logs and doors are no longer available. They advised me on fireplace options at various price points with no pressure. I chose a high end gas log fireplace with a blower and remote. The install was a full 2+ days as the mantle had to be removed in 5 pieces as well as premeditation of a lousy initial install by the builder which had many code violations. They installed all new piping, leveled the fireplace (the old was not level) and did the stone work around the gap between the mental and new fireplace. It now looks very custom and works! I would not hesitate to recommend them, they were courteous and worked around my schedule
Excellent! - The project manager Zach and Ellie are very professional, nice and easy to work with. - The quotes are detailed and when we added things on (fixing a squeaky floor, replacing the ladder to our attic) they provided an estimate upfront. - The price was very reasonable and the quality was very high. - We had some unexpected plumbing issues when we opened up the walls and the plumber and Zach were able to come up with a very good solution. - The tiling team was outstanding - they were careful about centering the pattern on the shower benches and nooks. - The also had to move an AC vent and sheetrock over an old doorway. They matched the paint perfectly and you can't tell that there was ever a doorway
WENT VERY WELL. FLOORS WERE PREPARED TO APPLY FLOATING AND MOISTURE BARRIER AND INSTALLATION COMPLETED WITHIN JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS. TILERS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON FIREPLACE AND WOOD CREW DID EXCELLENT JOB AT PLACING THE WIDE PLANKS THAT HAD A LOT OF 'CHARACTER' IN THEM SO THE PATTERN FLOWS NATURALLY. CREW CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. CO-OWNER CASEY CAPPS PROJECT-MANAGED THE CREW AND QUICKLY FOLLOWED UP ON THINGS IF NECESSARY
We were planning on replacing our deck, considering wood and pavers. Ricardo came out for a free estimate within an hour of when I initially contacted him. He?s one of the nicest contractors that we?ve ever met. We really appreciated how prompt he was. He had the opportunity to put in a $20,000+ deck remodel. He actually took the measurements, showed us the paver choices, etc. He sent the estimate to us that same evening. What really impressed me was that his actual recommendation was to replace our wooden deck with the same material we already had. We live in the Woodlands with many trees in our backyard. He told us that a wooden deck would be a better choice for the area of the yard that we were using. There was no hard sell for a paver deck, just to get our business. We decided to have a wooden deck built. However, we were still interested in having an area with pavers off the deck for our fire pit. Ricardo said that he would be happy to give us another free estimate for that area. Again, he came out for a free estimate the same day that we called him. We had received several estimates for this project but his was the best price. He was able to have the entire fire pit/patio area finished the next week. It only took a few days to fit our project into his schedule and a few days to finish. Ricardo was there quite often, making sure the job was finished up to his standards. We had an adjustment that needed to be made where our hot tub was. Ricardo and his team fixed the issue immediately. Our final result to a huge wooden deck was an awesome patio/fire pit/ hot tub area off the back side. It is beautiful, looking out from our windows. Ricardo helped pick the right color of pavers for main area and the trim. They actually complement the colors of the brick on our fireplace and our siding. We appreciate his promptness, his honesty, his suggestions based on his expertise, his pricing, the quality of his work, and the time it took to get our project finished. He deserves an A+++ and I highly recommend his company
they came on a saturday morning around 7am stripped the old shingles and felt off inspected for bad plywood on the roof, which was still good, installed cricket by the fireplace chimney and installed flashing to prevent water leakage, installed new GAF Timberline lifetime fiberglass shingles, checked for water leaks around cricket found no leaks, cleaned up yard of nails and roofing material, informed me the job was complete and left. Job well done I say
We used Vastine Remodeling & Construction (VRC) to repair the damage from a broken water line during the February 2021 winter freeze. We enjoyed working with the VRC team who completes both remediation and remodeling of our kitchen, living room, front room, and hallways. The stress of a major event such as a house flood is insane, but tack on stress from insurance, contractors, potential displacement from your home, and lengthy materials delays just compounds the stress into crippling fatigue. Its important to have a solid team with whom you can communicate and rely on to help get you back on your feet. The team at VRC was excellent at helping with our stress levels during this trying time. Cindy, the show room manager, was invaluable to our cause. She professionally addressed our questions and concerns, treating us with the upmost care and patience. Her ideas for our floor plans and designs were wondeful and provided us with a gateway to the eventual final design. She was flexible and adaptable to our own issues (we work in education), but completely respectful of her team and mediated successful working schedules. We probably drove her nuts with our questions and worries (this was our very first experience with such a project), but she was the ultimate mentor and guide to have. Charles, the owner, also provided invaluable service by being flexible with team scheduling and payment timing. He visited the house numerous times to ensure quality work and to provide updates on material delays. He is also an incredibly approachable professional who is excited and passionate about what he does. His enthusiasm is contagious and helped to ease the enormous amounts of stress we faced. There were also numerous team members who were very professional and respectful in their work and in their interactions with our family (including our cat!). Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was stress-relieving, their kindness and patience endearing. Would I use and recommend VRC in the future? Absolutely. Our experience was just another example of the professionalism, skill, and kindness that Charles, Cindy, and the VRC team have been bringing to the community for years
There were vines that had attached themselves to the brick in front and in the back. I was worried that when removed the vines would pull off the brick surfaces. The crew removed the vines, they tuckpointed painted and caulked where needed. The old bungalow looks awesome. Crew was on time , very hard working and left the area spotless. Cost was very reasonable. This company deserves 5 stars. Ursula A. in Norwood Park, Chicago
I had a mud pit in my back yard. No good natural drainage. We built a covered porch and had New Patio install a permeable driveway. It is not only beautiful but also super functional. A few weeks after we installed it, we had a great texas rain. It worked perfectly. Standing water was all over the neighborhood, but not in my driveway. If you are looking to install a truly permeable driveway, you need to make sure it is done right. New patio will do it right. Super fast, super clean, super nice, and super professional
He did a fabulous and excellent job! The first time I called him, he answered right away and he was like that during the whole project as well; he was even here working with the crew every single day. His pricing was great, too, because he really took care of a big mess the others had left.
My wife and I hired DE Flooring Granite Remodeling to install new floors on our home and we are very, very pleased with the work they did for us. Before moving into our new home in Houston we shopped around for home remodeling contractors in the area. We were not pleased, most if not all of these companies only did the work, the client was responsible for everything else. As you can imagine that would have been a monumental task for my wife and I as we were living in Dallas at the time. We continued looking for contractors in the Houston area and were blessed to find DE Flooring Granite Remodeling. The thing that initially impressed me about DE Flooring Granite Remodeling and the Abdul was his passion for his work. You can tell he loves what he does and it shows in the quality of this work. DE Flooring Granite Remodeling had materials on site for us to look at, flooring, granite, cabinet hardware, everything! But there?s more, the customer service was outstanding! When ever my wife and I had questions I could call Abudl and he would always take time to speak to us about the work being done. *Note, I had a problem with a contractor, the contractor was rude, worse ever. I called Abdul about this and he addressed the issue immediately. Abdul took ownership and stands by his word, which is rare this day and time. He took complete responsibility for the entire job, materials, everything. DE Flooring Granite Remodeling exceeded our expectations, we love our new home, wonderful. DE Flooring Granite Remodeling and Abdul are the best
Cannot say enough good things about Armando and his crews. Fair quote, great work, always fixed any issue, always on time and always, always said “yes” when I asked if something else could be done. Truly a rare company and I’m so glad a friend referred them to us.
Apka Ghar did fantastic work on my garage remodel. Replaced and painted the hardie board to match house. Saqib's crew were prompt and finished the work on schedule and cleaned up each day before they left. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.
TL/DR version: Gary Frith dba HoustonHandyman.com can skillfully and cost-effectively fix or improve almost everything in your house. As the proverbially and prodigiously skilled jack-of-all-trades, he will earn and keep your trust. And you're going to end up giving his name and contact info to your own friends, who in turn will thank you profusely! Full version: With scheduling & support from his partner & spouse Lorena, Gary just finished (in January 2020) a multi-day home maintenance & repairs project for me. I'm a repeat customer, having engaged Houston Handyman for a similar project in 2011. Both times, he's resolved to my complete satisfaction an entire punch-list of nagging problems with my house — the elimination of which has made my everyday life much more convenient and pleasurable. His tasks for me, then and now, have included the installation of ceiling fans, recessed lighting, and switchboxes in several rooms; replacement of corroded faucets and toilets; a thorough roof inspection with multiple small fixes (many of which were correcting work done wrong by less meticulous and skilled workers); hanging several flatscreen TVs (with cabling concealed); cabinet repair & shelf-building; installation of doggie doors; and a bathroom tile project that still looks and functions like new nine full years later. For the relatively few kinds of tasks which he doesn't do regularly, he's nevertheless given me good, free advice, and several referrals to skilled and like-minded tradesmen. Gary is gregarious and straight-forward by nature and communicative by trade — which is to say that he will point out costs and benefits you may not have considered, he will share with you his own recommendations and ideas, and he will fully inform and involve you at every step of the way. He has a common-sense approach, and he will execute your instructions with integrity and skill. And Gary is the consummate small-businessman who depends on repeat and referral business: He stands behind his work, and you won’t get shuffled off to some clueless subordinate or subcontractor. Gary did comparison shopping online to get me the best prices on materials. He actually reads the instructions on products (like my fancy new, entirely decadent toilet seat that needed electrical and plumbing connections for its bidet functions)! Heck, Gary was even nice to my dog, who I think has concluded that Gary is now a member of our extended family. My dog’s not wrong. Gary & Lorena Frith’s results will more than satisfy you: They will GRATIFY you, based on both quality of the work and the reasonableness of his charges for it. And you will wish every tradesman you're obliged to hire were as rewarding to deal with as HoustonHandyman.com
Baladez Construction Inc. did an amazing job restoring our home beyond expectations. We experienced a lot of damage from the Watson Grinding Explosion (Beltway 8 & Clay Spring Branch Area) back in January of 2020. We live within the blast radius and our structure was compromised as well as significant damage to the stucco, garage, exterior and interior of our home. Baladez Construction even helped negotiate with the adjusters and meet them on sight to point out the damage. They did an outstanding job at working with the insurance. It was a process but they were able to fight for us and get our provider to cover the full amount of the damage covered. The restoration came out wonderful! We got all new stucco on the outside as well as fresh sheetrock and interior on the inside (new flooring, windows, doors, paint, baseboard, crown, shower, etc). The home had to be completely gutted and redone due to the damage. We also put an addition onto the back of our home while they were here. Couldn’t be more pleased with the way everything came out and the manner in which they handled themselves. I was not looking forward to the process of rebuilding after the explosion, but Daniel Sr. made me feel at ease with his knowledge and ability to come up with a solution for any issue we had. I would definitely use them again and I even recommended them to some neighbors for their damage. Happy we chose to use them for our project and now we have the best looking house on the block
Great company, AMAZING finishing on all their work. Everything was done with a very clean job. They are very easy to work with and are very responsive. We simply showed a few pictures and they made it come to real life! We didn’t have to even worrry about anything, they did everything for us without us having to do anything. I would highly recommend them to everyone
This is the second project that Home Remedy has completed for us in the past six months, and we were highly satisfied with all aspects of the job from the initial quotation all the way through project completion. Despite the unrelated nature of all the various project elements , Mike Crigler and his team put together a competitive proposal and all the work was completed in a timely fashion. as promised. We look forward to working with Home Remedy again on future projects

Tech arrived when promised, was very thorough with evaluation--took many pictures, explained the process and what issues might be. Received estimate of job about 48 hours later and ordered fireplace from them. Installation will take place once it arrives. I will update post once installation is complete. So far, very happy with the process. Old fireplace was removed and stored on back porch. New fireplace was installed, new piping up chimney was replaced (new unit requires 8 inch pipe vs. 6 inch pipe); awaiting chimney cap installation to complete process. Matthew is very responsive and install has gone smoothly so far.
