THE TECHNICIAN CANCELED THE 1ST APPOINTMENT ON FRIDAY, BUT OFFERED TO COME IN ON SATURDAY. HE ARRIVED ON TIME SATURDAY. HE DID A GOOD JOB OF CLEANING. HE USED COVERS FOR THE CARPET AT THE FRONT OF THE FIREPLACE, AND DID NOT SOIL ANY OF THE REST OF THE HOUSE. THEY PERFORMED THE WORK FOR THE PRICE AGREED ON BEFOREHAND

Okay. I did not like the that he didn't explain what and how he was going to do the job. We had never used a chimney sweep. He just brought his equipment in and started to work. He seemed very efficient though.

Was able to scheduled appointment within a few days of me calling. I was given an arrival time of 3 hours - Carlos called when he was on his way and arrived exactly when he said he would; was very friendly and professional. He took extra time and covered floor in front of the fireplace to leave the area as clean (if not cleaner!) than when he arrived. He completed the job very quickly, made recommendations and provided written estimates before leaving. The only disappointment with the whole experience was when I learned from the technician that had I "purchased the service online at Angie's List" I could have gotten this done for $99 which would have saved me $37 :-( I still do not see how to do that on Angie's List - but I did have a coupon for 10% off, which saved me $14... but $37 would have been nice!

I had an 8A appointment - called at 8:15A - he told me he had forgotten and he was dropping his dog off at the vet's. He finally got there about 9:15A and am assuming he did a good job. It's a little hard for those untrained in sweeping chimneys to know. He was a nice young fellow.

Company was able to come out same day and clean our chimney. Abraham was very professional, courteous, and efficient. He protected the area surrounding the fireplace. After the cleaning the fireplace is drafting correctly again. We plan to use this company again next year.

I suppose I didn't really know what to expect. The young man vacuumed and bruised off my fire logs and the inside of the fireplace. I suppose I was expecting a soot free appearance and that is not what I expected. I have no idea what the other guy did on the outside. They were gone before I knew it (in about 20 minutes) and I really don't know if I did or didn't get what I paid for

Purchased Big Deal Coupon - they were prompt, professional, helpful and did not leave a mess. Yes I will use them in the future - for inspections, cleaning and/or repairs.
Bought the service for the chimney sweep through Angie's List so saved some money from their original price. Made an appointment with the main office. The service guy came out and cleaned out my chimney and inspected the fireplace. I also added an additional service to install a chimney cap. The service guy installed the cap after doing the sweep and patched up the crown of the chimney stack where there were some holes. He gave me tips on how to get the most out of my fireplace and was pretty quick with the overall service
I was impressed with the reviews prior to utilizing the service. I liked that there was a coupon for carpet cleaning services, and after discussion with the husband, decided to go ahead and have the carpets cleaned in two bedrooms. We have a puppy and have fostered several cats last year, and thought since we were getting new bedroom furniture for the master, it would be a good time to have the two rooms animals had been in cleaned BEFORE the furniture arrived. I have always cleaned my carpets myself, and thought I would treat myself and be lazy.... I should have just done the work myself. I got the 2 rooms for $89 package deal, was called within five minutes to schedule the appointment. Scheduled the appointment on a day I was off for an arrival time between 8am-12pm. There was no confirmation or reminder prior to, so the day of when I hadn't heard anything by 10am, I called to make sure I was still on the schedule. I called the number listed for All State Air Duct Pro to have no answer, no answering machine, etc. I called the number back that called to schedule the appointment, got no answer, it went to a voice mail but did not give a company name/number so I was unsure if it was the correct number and did not leave a message. They number with the voice mail did return my call in about five minutes, assured me I was on the schedule and that they should be finished with the current job and on their way to me in about 30 min. I was called at 11:30 to let me know they were on the way. I was called about 30 min later to have them tell me they were at my house (they weren't, they were at the wrong location a block away, but ok), got them to my house and showed them the two rooms I wanted to have steam cleaned. Immediately the upsale pitch started - you need a deep clean, you need your dryer vent done, how about deoderizing the two rooms. I didn't want any additional services, and was flat out asked by the sales person WHY I even had them there if all I wanted was the carpets steam cleaned. I agreed to have them deoderize the two rooms at an additional cost of $29 per room. Work was performed, technician sat and talked to me the entire time his worker did the rooms. I did inspect the two rooms as far as looking at them, technician said the carpet should be dry in a couple of hours, they were paid and left. Again, I have done my own carpets before, and knew it takes some time to dry. 2 1/2 hours later, I walked in to make sure the rooms were dry, and they were a soaking wet mess. Squishy wet. As I had someone coming shortly to assemble the new bedframe, I immediately called the technician back and got a voice mail. I left a message and followed up with a text. I then called the number back that had called to schedule the appointment, left a voice mail there as well. I then grabbed my wet vac, and was able to pull water out of the carpet. 30 minutes later and using a very small wet vac and doing a 3 foot wide section of carpet, I realized I had not heard back from the company, and that I needed to go rent a carpet cleaner just to pull the water out of the carpet so it didn't sit that wet all night long and do damage. I went to Home Depot, got a carpet cleaner, came home - went over my carpet in my master bedroom twice sucking water out of the carpet, and once in the second bedroom we had cleaned. Our master bedroom was mostly dry about an hour later, and the second bedroom was still only slightly damp the next morning. It cost an additional $24 for the rental at Home Depot. As it was Easter weekend, I figured I would hear back from the company on Monday, but over a week later have never heard back from them. All State Air Duct Pro was NOT the company that came to clean the carpets - the company on the paperwork is Houston Texas Cleaning Services. I still have not heard back from them - work was done on the 19th, today is the 29th of April. There was no identifying information for the company on the phone number that called to schedule (no one answered with the company name, no voice mail set up with company information), there was no information on the vehicle that came to the location, the All State Air Duct Pro number information on this website had no one answer, etc. Depending on the way the service went, I had planned to call them back for air duct work, but would not call them back. This is my first time ever leaving a negative review, I have had awesome luck/service from everyone on Angie's List prior. I gave a C overall rating because they did clean the carpets well, but did not complete the job in my opinion as carpet should not be squishy wet after cleaning 2 1/2 hours later. I gave the B rating on price/value because the upselling began immediately. I gave the D rating for quality and Responsiveness because of the water left in the carpet, and lack of response when calling with the problem the same day. I gave the D rating for punctuality because while they may have squeaked in at 11:58 for the window, there was no communication until I initiated it. I definitely would not use this company again. They could have made this right the same day, but chose to not respond to calls or texts
Great job, clean and professional! Will make point to get my fireplace cleaned, every year, with this company. It had been about three years since we have had our chimney cleaned and it was a mess!

OK, took several calls back and forth to even get scheduled. Once out, they were very nice and professional, but I felt that what I wanted to have done was unfamiliar and difficult to them. It took so long to have the work done, that by the time they were finishing up they were just ready to get out so it wasn't finished as precisely as I would like. I still need to go get some pieces to seal where some work was done. I just feel like jobs of that level should include sealing up holes and finishing all the way

Billy came over and did a first rate inspection and cleaned my fireplace and chimney. Great service, fair prices, timely and friendly. This is the second time I've used this service.
For years, our fireplace would smell musty after a rain. Then the chimney cap broke and blew off. There was not a way to secure a new cap. We had several bids, and all said that the flue was cracked and the concrete chimney cap was crumbling. The entire center of the chimney needed to be removed and replaced, and a cap installed. Ted did a good job of explaining the damage and the repairs that would be done. The work was done professionally and on time, with good clean up afterward. In addition, Ted added a free fireplace cleaning and refurbishing, which was needed after so many years of water leaking into the chimney and fireplace. We were definitely satisfied with the job
Outstanding in all respects! I have a historic masonry fireplace which was not drafting properly, and it was time to perform some general maintenance to the interior brickwork as well. I first contacted a company I have known about for over 25 years, and had do some work for me in the past. This other company did not show up for the first appointment, and arrived 45 minutes late for the second appointment. I was promised a quotation the following day, but after 2 weeks I had to call the office and then finally received a proposal which was missing half of the items we discussed. A few days later I received a revised proposal, and it was outrageous at about 4 times the cost I expected! If ever a company wanted to drive away customers, they sure have the formula down pat. I then looked for an alternative provider, and was referred to Conscious Cleaning Chimney Services. What a breath of fresh air! I received a near instantaneous response, and the communication from G.G. from start to finish was nothing short of fantastic. I always got prompt replies to my questions or requests, and the technician Fred came out quickly to survey the condition and provide a recommendation and quote. They were able to quickly schedule the service at MY convenience rather than the "when we get around to it" attitude of the other company, and Fred arrived even slightly before the appointment time. Most of the work was completed, but I had been told a part would need to be ordered and once it arrived they'd be right back out to install that last piece. They did just as they had promised, and everything was done whenever it was best for me. Subsequent to this initial service, I had to call them back because I decided to change the face of the fireplace granite, and the contractor installing that chipped some of the brick around the edges. Once again, Conscious Cleaning came out quickly at my convenience, and completed the work the same day. The pricing for both service calls was very fair, and in line with what I expected. I cannot say enough good things about all the folks at Conscious Cleaning. My only hesitation in writing this review is that from a selfish perspective I'd like to keep them as "my little secret", but truly they deserve to be recognized for the outstanding service and helpful attitude they practice
It went exceptional, Jack was very professional and personable during the process. He also recommended a few other optional services. No issues, whatsoever.
