Their staff drove by and determined that I would need much less than I had planned on. The correction saved me about two hundred dollars. Plus they did a fabulous job of laying the gravel in a smooth, thick layer. We literally did no hand raking of the gravel, the job was perfect

The cheapest made me feel like they were cutting corners when I asked probing questions, and Four Seasons did not make me feel that way. I can't remember the older gentlemen's name who came out to assess the work and provide the quote, but he was great. On time, no rush in discussing the scope of work, challenges, options, etc. Crew arrived on time as scheduled, work was completed exactly as described, no surprises. I would definitely use them again

Very badly. When the driver arrived and had poured about half of the load in a large pile, he then informs me that he is new to the job and this work was contracted out. I called Chandler and told him that the gravel was not spread out. He (Dewey) called the contracted company and they sent out someone to level it out. I was detailed on where I wanted the gravel poured, but it was not done correctly. There were numerous thin spots and very thick spots. Also, when the dump truck left, I noticed that there was still some of the gravel, I paid for, in the truck. Also, I was initally quoted one price by Dewey, the contractors bill was higher

A strip drain was placed along the center of the courtyard and covered with decorative gravel and stepping stones. Additionally, trenches were dug from my downspouts to the drain to direct the runoff. The work was done quickly and professionally. Jonathon's team was very mindful of the surrounding plants and structures. Josh and Jamie hand dug the trench since there was a gas line nearby. Tim chose beautiful stones for my path and placed them perfectly. The drain is working well and I plan to have them back again for my next landscaping project

They dug out everything--removed and cleaned up everything--were attentive to the surrounding landscape, and made sure the patio fit well into its surroundings. They brought in, I believe, 28,000 pounds of gravel before laying the sand, and were meticulous throughout the process, measuring and leveling. Some adjustments had to be made as the patio was built, and Rick took care of everything, including making sure the water would flow off and away from the house--which it does beautifully. He also covered some brick steps with pavers which was not in the original plan and helped us use some of the leftover pavers for a paver and gravel path. The job took 10 days or so, including spreading grass seed out over some areas where they smoothed out the yard by spreading out the dirt they'd dug up. The crew has a great work ethic and it was actually a pleasure to have them work here. Always cleaned everything up--including blowing out the screened in porch where some dust had found its way in. Wish I had "before" pictures. This project has totally changed the feel of the back yard. It turned out even better than anticipated. We will be working with him again as other landscape projects arise

OK, except that water still pools in the walkway. An additional drain would have solved the problem. The flagstones were mostly small pieces, which means they are still not sitting firmly in the base. The extra cost sealing procedure was pretty worthless. It was supposed to keep the pea gravel between the flagstone pieces from migrating around and didn't. The contractor failed to answer my email about the drainage issue. While the work was being done I asked for an estimate for additional work but never received it

Mr Post and his crew arrived on time, after we reviewed my expectations, they all went to work. Two hours later they were done, they removed the old shrubbery, gravel and stones. The areas that were dug up were clean and ready for planting. They did exactly what I expected and I am still thrilled with the results!! I called three other landscape/yard work people recommended by friends and neighbors, Mr Post was the only one to come out, give me an estimate and then actually perform the work. I am just delighted

When I arrived at Scott Stone, I was immediately greeted by Terry Ellis. I explained to Terry my quest and showed him some pics! He was so attentive and on it! He knew right away what I had in mind and how to help me. He told me about cultured stone and real stone. I opted to take a look at the real stone. We walked around the yard and he explained the different areas of stone. We talked about the coloring I envisioned – earth tones, rustic look. He brought me to an area with ledgestone type pieces and we looked at the different pallets. Then we went by the larger pieces for a single piece for the hearth. After thinking about a single piece, I then thought of smaller pieces to make a kind of mosaic. Terry was so sweet and patient! He brought me to the area with smaller pieces. We looked at the different pallets. So after I decided on which pallet to choose the ledgestone from and which pallet to choose the hearth pieces from, Terry had a pallet placed at each spot and pulled stone, creating a visual for each stage of my project – the ledgestone trim and the mosaic hearth. He was absolutely incredible! Above and beyond! And, on top of the wonderful service provided, the prices were affordable! I know I’ll have more projects down the road, and now I have a definite ‘go to’ for all my stone needs – Scott Stone in Greensboro

Mr. Meyers and his team were always prompt and professional. I was able to make a standing appointment with them and knew on the day of my appointment my lawn would be manicured. Mr. Meyers took great care of my yard (front and back). They did all I asked them to do plus more. They trimmed bushes, cut and outlined my grass and they disposed of the cut grass. I have since downsized and moved into an apartment. If I move into a house again, I will be contacting Mr. Meyers for his landscaping services

Comments: We frequently use them. He is extremely reasonable. If he doesn’t have what I want he will order it for me. My husband wants some boulders in the front yard and I had gone there and he said he will give me some special ones. He put it on the pallet because I wasn’t going to pick up right then. Something came up and my husband had a surgery and I felt we couldn’t spend the money right then. I called and told him and I went back a year later and he still had them. He was holding them for me. I may go over there thinking I want something else but he will say, ‘take a look at this’, and he knows better what I want than I do sometimes. We created a dry creek bed in the backyard as we had a drainage problem and he helped us with all of that. He filled it with stones and put small stones and fairy stones which was probably a mixture in there. He told us which stones to use like the black round sort of flat stones. He put some multi colored stuff. It is beautiful. We created pockets along the side of it with stones. He put it on right direction. In a way it is small place but he is much personal. He may do other stuff but I never ordered for it. He has got rocks that are not available here and it comes from Mexico or Idaho and other places. He has Pennsylvania blue stone which we don’t get here. It is not just ingenious rocks but real stuff

1-Very professional 2-Courteous 3-Extremely knowledgeable about what they were doing 4-Did the work asked for at the price agreed upon. Even went above and beyond. Cody is young, but he has a lot of experience. He's been doing this since he was 12 years old. He learned from a master, and it shows. Tree work is not cheap. Know that going in. Some people are cheaper than others, and some will tell you a price and try to change things afterwards. This company does not do that. I got a written agreement of what was to be done. I recommend marking trees with a ribbon, such as a blue ribbon if the tree is to be taken down, and a red ribbon if the canopy is to be lifted, and confirm that with the folks doing the work. It helps to prevent any misunderstandings. I got several estimates and this company was comparable. If someone comes in at a lower price, confirm that they are insured and confirm what they are going to do for the price
