She came in with a full market analysis. She told us what we could cosmetically could do to maximize our sale. She tweaked what we had to work. You could tell she originally had an interior design degree. In the end we were under contract. Instead of worrying about selling, we worried about packing. She got us over 10k over our wish price

Todd was patient and attentive to my design ideas and made suggestions/improvements of his own. He understood and accommodated my desire to incorporate recycled and repurposed items, including Habitat for Humanity and quot;findsand quot;. He came when he said he was coming, finished on time, gave me accurate estimates, and was a joy to work with. I would hire him again.

Mr. Byers was very responsive, listened to what I asked for and was on time every day. His professionalism was only out done by the quality of his work! From now on if I need something done I will call him.

I worked with Mary Elizabeth Beale and she was wonderful! Our first meeting was free of charge and she did about an hour overview of our home, getting my thoughts and explaining all about the company and how the process works. Once we signed the agreement to have her continue (we only pay for the services we ask for), Mary Elizabeth came back and spent about 3 hours talking colors and design. She was very patient and didn't push anything. She gave us 3D computerized drawings of her thoughts for the master bedroom and later sent some suggestions for the master bath. The plan is ours whether we wish to have it done by ourselves or with the help of Megliola Interiior Design. We have had all the painting done with the colors she suggested and it looks wonderful. I never would have believed how this would come together, but it looks great. Having an open plan is really not too easy when it comes to colors and we didn't want the entire downstairs all one color. Her suggestions far outweighed our expectations. We have her design ideas for the master and master bath, but probably won't get to it until next year. In the meantime, we can try to put some things together ourselves or utilize Megliola Interior Design to help us complete our room. Either way, the design is for us to keep. Hiring them was well worth the money.

Project kept getting delayed. And prices kept adding up excessively. Furniture that was delivered was warped and salty. Now our sunroom and media room and not even able to be used for the same purposes they were used for before. We asked for our money back for the pieces of furniture that were not right, and Carolina refused to refund our money.

Transforming Rooms

Excellent so far. In our initial meeting we established the style/look we were going for, our estimated budget and timeline. The house is only 5 years old and we were very happy with the interior paint colors and wanted to design around them. We were already in the process of shopping for a sofa or sectional and were about to buy a large leather sectional. After the first meeting with Deborah we switched back to a sofa and are glad we did. It save us money and allowed us to better define the living space (our house has an open floor plan and the family room has a cathedral ceiling). Deborah started with fabric selection for the furniture and window treatments. All the windows have wood blinds and we were not even thinking about window treatments. After discussing this we decided on window treatments for all the rooms in the living area. We are glad we did. All the window treatments are unique and coordinate will with the existing wall colors and with the furniture. Our sofa was purchased at a local furniture store after we reviewed the fabric choice with Deborah and she then had custom chairs and ottoman made (at a reasonable cost) that coordinated with the sofa and window treatments. We have since added a rug and occasional tables and some addition chairs and the living room looks great. The other rooms are still in process and we are moving at a reasonable pace. While our budget is not the tightest in the world it is also not extravagant. We had a certain amount we were willing to spend right away on the living room furniture and then what we were comfortable with spending over time (the cost quoted above includes all materials and services). Deborah has worked well with us. The furniture and treatments we have purchased through her don't have a tremendous markup and have all been reasonable priced. Any charges for time and services have also been very reasonable. After working a short time with us, Deborah has learned our taste and budget and has done a great job meeting both. We are please the the experiance and the results. The rooms are coming together and look great. The design is not over the top and the look should last over time.

Recent Review: Arcbazar offers a very unique service. I was looking for some interior design ideas for a new home. There are many interior designer's that offer consultation services. They provide color options, ideas for furniture etc. Whats cool about arcbazar, however, is that it works based on a competition that you create on their website. Instead of getting one designer providing you one concept, you get multiple submissions from different interior designers. I created a competition to provide interior design ideas for my family room/kitchen area. I ended up getting 13 different design ideas. What I was impressed with was the quality of some of the submissions. Many of the designers submitted full color 3 dimensional layouts that made it a lot easier to visualize the design. They also provided a list of furniture, paint and accessory options. Overall I was very pleased with the results. Just be aware that you have to be reasonable about your award amount. You cant enter something like $50 and ask for a full interior design of your whole house. When creating your competition the website will give you a suggested award amount. This suggested award is based on the square feet of the area you wish to design. My only gripe with the service was their website. It's a bit rough around the edges and at times their site was very slow. Sometimes it could be frustrating to use. The only reason I didnt give the service all A's.
