I replaced a bathroom fan that also required replacing part of the vent duct work. This left a couple good sized holes in the ceiling. I thought it best to get a professional to repair drywall ceiling and I would paint it myself. I called Mr. Handyman and a person came out and patched up the ceiling, but the results were very poor. I called Mr. Handyman and sent them pictures of the poor work quality and they sent another person to correct the problem. The second person was very good and the end result was that the drywall damage was undetectable. The follow-up repair was at no charge. While the first person did poor work, Mr. Handyman corrected the problem. I consider myself pretty handy, but there are some jobs where experience is worth the cost of "education", like drywall work. I almost lowered the quality grade, but the end result was very good quality, so I will grade on that

I called Mr. Handyman in the morning for installing 2 ceiling fans. The lady who answered the phone was very friendly and professional. And I was very happy that she could find someone to work on the same afternoon. She sent me the detail of what we talked about through an e-mail right away. About 30 minutes prior to the handyman's arrival, someone in the office called and informed. The handyman came on time, and he did his job done quicker than what he estimated. I'm glad that I found this company thru Angie's List, and happy to report another satisfying job report

It seems there was some miscommunication on the original estimate, which caused the estimate to be well under the actual amount of hours it should have taken. And the contractor was an extreme perfectionist, so that took longer than was really necessary for the value of my condo. But when I was frustrated with the increasing hours, the owner contacted me and we talked through my frustration and came to an agreement we could both live with. As a first timer in hiring contractors, a little advice: be very specific about what you want, even to the point of annoyance so that you are both on the same page. Also let them know the expectation level: do you need a super high quality job or can you settle for adequate? And ask a ton of questions so that you understand why something is taking longer than you think so that you can understand the process

We hired Mr. Handyman to focus on the bathroom in a house that my family inherited and needed a lot of work. I was only in town for the week and they were great in being able to work us into the schedule on a short notice. We had a laundry list of tasks in the house and they were great in being able to adapt to our changing needs. When Mitch arrived he was very friendly and keep me informed throughout the process. It was worth it to pay a little extra to have Mitch go out and get the additional supplies needed, since it ensured the right products were purchased and he was very prompt. As the flooring was setting he helped us paint a ceiling in the bedroom (which was easy for him because he was tall and our family isnt :) ). The flooring looked great and we were ready to hire Mitch for the rest of the day, although he was already booked. We plan on hiring him for additional carpentry work

I love it! Framing and hanging sliding doors that separated kitchen from living room. This is a project that I have wanted to do for a long time and finally got it completed. I own a manufactured home (or as it is called now a mobile home). These homes usually have unique openings and require customized or special orders. John was extremely helpful and brought my vision of what I wanted into reality. He also provided some suggestions which proved to be extremely beneficial. He was quick and efficient with his work. John framed the space from floor to ceiling. John did framing, molding and trim, dry wall (in the space above the doors on both sides), sanded and painted. I will definitely use him in the future and highly recommend this service

Matt, the owner, quickly returned my initial phone call, came over and gave me a reasonable quote. He created a very nice frame for the egress window, filled in a few spots with drywall he provided from a leftover previous project. Drywall project needed time to dry, so he came back and checked on it, sanded and prepped it for painting. He purchased new ceilings that match the existing drop ceiling and installed them, which was tricky because the previous window was smaller and Matt had to fill the enlarged area and finish off the ceiling so that is looks normal. Matt did a great job cleaning up the area afterward, even the drywall dust, which I appreciated. The finished project looks great finished and I feel very satisfied with the work done and the price charged
