This company is one of the best out there. This is the third time we have had work done by them and are very pleased. The current epidemic would be the only reason for the 4 stars in any category. Otherwise it is 5 stars all the way. There are fewer employees out there so it can take a bit longer to get the work done or get the needed supplies. They are higher priced, I believe, but you get what you pay for

Jason did an amazing job. Our bathroom was in rough shape, and we brought Jason in to completely gut and redo it. It now looks like something that belongs in a spa. He started very close to his original timeline that was laid out. We didn't have weeks go by without any progress, workers were here almost every day. The employees of HWC are highly professional. Each stage of the remodel went well. From the service rep. to the carpenter, electrician and plumber, they all took pride in their work. I had a great experience with this company!! Not only is he friendly and flexible, but he also accommodates your needs/preferences. He installed laminate flooring in 2 of my upstairs bedrooms. The flooring looks great, he installed the trim too. I highly recommend this company and the prices are fair and reasonable

After searching Angieslist, I reached out to Matrix for a quote. I ultimately hired Matrix and the everything went as planned. Very responsive to my needs and we love the finished project. Matrix did a complete staircase rebuild that is stunning. Steve Trevino was the project lead and he did a great job of communicating details and timing. The company uses the buildertrend app which helped with scheduling, payments, etc

Our project was just over $80,000. Owner Eric Payne and office mgr Sue coordinated everything well from start to finish and our site manager Benjamin was very professional. We peppered him with constant questions and even a month after the project was completed asked about things that didn't seem right and he was right on top of it, getting things corrected. I gave a B rating for quality and professionalism as some of the subcontractors they used I think were a little subpar (mainly painters). However, one of Payne's main builders suffered a significant hand injury right at the start of our project and they had to scramble to fill his workload. The vendors Payne uses for kitchens, flooring, and bathroom hardware are fantastic although I think my wife and I would say Interior Images, while very nice and helpful, were not very organized (they scribbled our selections down on some scratch paper and couldn't find them again) and we did have some slight issues with details on things we picked out like grout for the kitchen. Overall I would absolutely use Payne again. Nice job and thank you Payne. Our home is completely different and wonderful

With so many "fly by night" remodelers out there in the market, it is great to find ones that you can trust and perform as promised. Furthermore, their sub-contractors were all pleasant and nice to deal with.I will look forward to having more work done by Perkins remodeling.
