lwe will most definitely hire him again. He was very professional, and did a very good job. He picked up set aside the replaced doors in the garage. He forgot to install one of the angels he had to remove to install the front door, but that is a minor issue.

The bottom of the door was not lining up to the floor, but Avalon fixed that with the new door. The guys all got it done quicker than I thought they they would. We went with Avalon because they did such a good job with our roof before.

THE CONTRACTOR THEY SENT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY HAD A FAIR PRICE. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THEY DID FOR ME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.

We are so pleased with our renovated, beautiful and functional bathrooms in our home that Perkins Custom Remodel did for us this Fall. Ted is the most professional general contractor we have ever worked with meeting deadlines, budget and project objectives. All along we were kept abreast of the timetable and knew exactly who to expect and what work would be done. The quality of the workmanship was top notch and communication about the job was timely and responsive. The Perkins team and tradesmen that came into our home were respectful of our living space, extraordinarily pleasant and professional. We were guided toward very good vendors who helped us with product selection and design. So happy with our choice in partnering with this company and would not look any further for another remodeling contractor should we decide on future work.

Everything turned out well. We ended up choosing them because they are a local company and were very thorough and professional during the estimate process. The new door and windows are doing a great job of keeping out the heat and the cold, and the room is much more comfortable. Ultimately, they did good work for a fair price.

The person came on time and finished when he said he would. The overall cost was less than the estimate. Very professional. I contacted Mr. Handyman to do the work for my mother (I live in another state) because of the reviews on Angie's list. I am extremely pleased with their response.

Dwight Jacobsen can do it all. Having remodelled several houses over the years, I can say that without a doubt Dwight is the most meticulous, dependable, and professionally skilled craftsman I have ever encountered in a remodeler. He loves his work, and he wants you to love it, too. He tore out old carpet and painstakingly removed staples and tack strips. Then he took the carpet to a charity that reuses old carpet and got us a $300 tax deduction for it. He found us slate tiles for the hearth that were cheaper than the ones we had originally selected, but of equal quality. His installation of them is beautiful. He cut down cabinets where the new kitchen hood was installed and recut the cabinet doors so they look like they were made that way. He had to cut a hole in the brick wall for the installation, and again, it looks like it was made that way. Unable to find a replacement for an old pocket door latch, he repaired it so it works perfectly. He did a great job matching stains on the baseboards and slate trim. Half of our floor in our family room was sunken about a half inch, and Dwight brought in a contractor to pump mud under it to level it, and then watched to be certain that it was finished settling before continuing with the rest of the floor installation. Levelled our walks and entrance stoops at the same time, and reinstalled the trim. Hooked up an oven in our basement. One of the best things about Dwight is that he keeps in contact with you. He called frequently to give updates on his progress and plans, unlike other contractors we've had that start something and then disappear for days at a time. He has a great eye for detail and design. His pricing was fair and competitive, and he appears to care about your home as much as you do. If you want it done right the first time, I would unhesitatingly recommend that Jacobsen Remodeling be your first call. After you talk to Dwight, you'll see what I mean. And then, he brings us some beautifully seasoned cherry firewood to burn in our fireplace.

We are very glad that we selected Clark Construction for the work at our home including some cement work, modifying our garage to accommodate a new garage door, installing new porch pillars, and putting in new doors. We are EXTREMELY pleased with the results. Matt and his crew pay close attention to the smallest of details which is wonderful. They work hard, and are very courteous. When it comes to their knowledge and skills, it is obvious they are pros. It is nice when things work out as well as they did. We will certainly be repeat customers for any future home improvement needs.
