Impressive. I am familiar with metal and the trade. I was pleased it was a fold in steel as no nails will show. Jesus who came for the estimate was a good communicator and gave a great presentation. Made a few recommendations for color and gutters. He knew what he was doing, which gave me confidence that workmanship and quality would be right par with his presentation. The crew really impressed me. They did remarkable well. They got here and got right to work. The crew cleaned up with tarps, but still find a few nails here and there. Said they would be back in the spring to clean up as they did the roof in winter. Pleased I know my insurance will be cheaper now, and the roof will last

Legacy showed up on time. Removed my old metal roof. Then had to remove the layer of shingles under it. Followed up with all new shingles. The team did an amazing job. The roof looks amazing. Would hire them for other projects with out 2nd thought

Contractor was at the GR home and garden show - he came out for estimate on new roof for house - quoted 3 prices - 30 year, 50 year and metal roof. Metal roof pricing turned out to be approximately 35 thousand more than other bids we have received and almost twice as much for conventional roof. Felt as though he had to have committment that day for job quote. I asked him to send me a hard copy estimate and still waiting for them - don't expect I will hear anything from them - high pressure and a little sloppy - just there to sell a roof and not the service capabilities of their company - Definitely will never call them agai

They are overpriced, by a lot they gave price of 80000 for a metal roof and 40000 for asphalt shingles. Had three other quotes and metal roof will only cost 40000, and asphalt will only cost 14000.The price isn’t the only problem I had with this company the salesman went in attic and took pictures showed them to me and my husband said we had mold and if we let it go we would have to have hazmat come and that will cost alot; what a joke. I noticed that he had to scroll though his pictures on his phone to bring up pictures he just took; BIG RED FLAG! Also told us that we had light coming though the attic.The salesman said that the job would take two to three weeks to finish however all three quotes we were told the work will only take two to three days. After the salesman left we went in the attic there was no mold, no light, and the pictures showed a white ceiling and the ceiling in our attic is tan. Had a lady call and ask if we were going to get the work done I said cost was to high she informed me they sell roofs that cost that much all time, that is because they con people

They were on time, told us when they were leaving and they made sure that the yard was cleaned up before they left for the day. They guys had to deal with a robins nest that had a baby robin in it ,right above the deck while they were building it . Sometimes the bird stuck out it's butt and let loose right on top of them while they worked. They made sure not to bother the nest while they did their job. They hosed the pile off when they were finished with the deck, looked GREAT. Cleaned up with little to no effort. They also made me a place to put my grill, so the squirrels that we have, could not get into the grill and build nests in it again. A HURRICANE could come and the box would still remain afterward. If they didn't like the way things looked, they started over until it was RIGHT. Very professional and courteous. They are a GREAT bunch of guys and we will do more business with them in the future..Montell went above my expectations on any job they did. When they put the windows in the porch, they made sure it looked new afterward. The trim was replaced with new because the old trim had dents in it. They replaced the kick boards because they found water damage to the boards when they took off the inside wall. Way beyond what I ever expected them to do.. If it was a problem, THEY fixed it

Samples of shingles and metal roof colors were shown to us and there was great communication between my husband and GHI. We decided on shingles for the house and a copper metal roof for the barn/garage. It was a big job and all the roofers showed up and worked so hard and expertly on everything! They did a super removal and clean up job. All the guys involved were friendly, courteous, and just a nice group of guys to work with. We couldn't be happier! The garage turned out to so beautiful!!! Its like a new building, which in fact it pretty much is, because these guys do it all! Took out old walls and put up strong walls with a great mason work. They do it all. My husband watched them work on our neighbor's roof and was impressed with their work, that's how we first found out about them. We would hire them again

I have a small home. We first contracted to put a metal roof on. We signed a contract for 12,000.00. Kodiak csme back and stated they couldn't do it for that as they calculated wrong. Real smooth talkers. We agreed to shingles, at 13,500.00. They roofers came and changed the shingles but NEVER changed the flashing, drip edge, or filled the open spaces on the roof,they just put felt paper over, and shingles. I still have the original leaks, and the roof is only about 6 years old and it is already starting to sag in all the open spaces under the felt and shingles. They wouldn't respond to us after the job was finished. Consequently my bathroom is molding from the ceiling where water is coming in. My biggest regret is I didn't sue them as I didn't know about the flashing and drip edge until later, where the leak was coming from by a different roofing company since Kodiak wouldn't respond

Joe, the owner of the company came out to ease my worries and told me about the history of his company. He was very nice and wasn't trying to make a high pressure sale; just trying to solve my roofing problems. I thought Tim, who led the actual installation of the roof, was very professional and the work they did was neat and I only had a few screws and scraps to pick up after they finished. They did most of the cleanup themselves I guess. Either that or they were very neat when they installed the roof. I totally trusted them to do the work while I was at work unable to watch them. I am completely satisfied with this company from start to finish and all the people working for them. They seemed more honest than any other company I had come out with a quote for a shingled roof. Plus, because they were so nice to deal with, I did not even seek a second metal roof quote. Thank you, Windows of Michigan! Your shortened my angst over finding a roofer. Cleanup proceeded as the project went along. Work was performed in unpredictable weather conditions but without any problems. House was restored to clean conditions on completion of the job, and a large cupola was replaced on the garage roof

Like a lot of homeowners in west Michigan, the roof of my house sustained damage from a hail storm back in the spring. Thankfully I found Great Lakes Building Concepts on Angie's List. My experience with the company started with them helping me with my insurance company after they had already denied a claim; Aaron clearly found evidence of hail damage, and things were worked out. Great Lakes ended up replacing my roof, my metal carport roof, and my gutters. In all three cases, the work was done quickly, professionally, and the results are amazing. The gutters look much better and were installed in a better fashion than the old ones, and the roof and the venting for the roof is a huge improvement over the vent cap system on my old roof. Great Lakes uses quality materials, and is responsive to phone calls. The carport roof replacement was reasonably priced. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and they will be the first company I contact for future house projects like siding

Patrick was responsive from the beginning. He got us the bid for the new roof, stopped over to go over the details and explain the process, and then obtained for us a bid for new gutters and downspouts. He coordinated his work with that of our asbestos roof removal contractor and the gutter subcontractor. Patrick's employees are non-nonsense skilled workers. They completed the roof installation in two days without interruption. Cleaned up beautifully - no nails or other debris left in the lawn or elsewhere on the property. Patrick cares a lot about doing the job well and is very attentive. He knows his business. As I mentioned earlier, we had to get a specially-licensed contractor to remove our asbestos roof shingles, and Patrick was available to help us understand those bids. It really was a pleasure working with Keenan Homes and I could not recommend it more highly

I wish to comment on the exceptional service and quality workmanship that Conrad Consulting delivered on the re-roofing of my home. My roof is steeply pitched with several angles and had an inordinately heavy layer of shingles that had to be removed. Upon removing the shingles it was discovered that the undelaying plywood was extensively damaged and required replacement. Conrad Consulting was more than fair in their original pricing and this carried through to the extra labor and materials that were unexpected but necessitated. In fact, they also replaced several pieces of cedar siding that was also worn at no charge to me! The work crew was efficient, professional and completed every aspect of this project perfectly. The owner and his son followed up personally throughout the job and kept me well informed during the duration. I now plan to have some interior repair/remodel work done and will engage Conrad Consulting for this project also. I would recommend Conrad Consulting whole-heartedly (one of my co-workers is going to be contacting them for her roofing project as I have already recommended them to her)

Excellent experience and great work, from beginning to end! I appreciate how quickly Pure Roofing was able to quote the work and begin. Using satellite imaging, I was given an estimate about 90 minutes after our first contact (2,734 sq. ft.). They even offered an online zero interest financing option. Before the crew started they protected windows, lawn, and landscaping. Once they began they stayed busy until all the old material was torn off, before taking lunch. After lunch, they worked steady until all the new material was installed, then went immediately into the clean phase. NICE JOB… from start to finish, the crew was at our house for about 10 hours

These guys were ABSOLUTELY fantastic! My husband and I own a flat roof home and we had roofing contractors come out to look at our roof and laugh. Irish's flat roof team is led by an experienced (I think he said 20 years) flat roof foreman, who really went above and beyond. We had a huge two day storm in the middle of our project and not only were these guys out DURING the storm to make sure it was holding, but also came out in the evening to reapply temporary metal that had fallen off in the storm. Absolutely awesome contractors. You would have thought it was their house with the amount of care and concern they exerted. We look forward to having Irish back out next summer to do other projects

They did some damage on my gutters, so they had to come back out and fix that. They were kind of careless on my gutters. I had gutter guards and they kind of mess them up. They didn't fix them when they left. They had the metal mesh all mangled up, so they ended up just replacing it. In regards to their fixing things, it was good, but as far as the workers that were there, I think it was careless
