I don't remember how much we spent. It is an easier process than actually replacing a countertop. We like it. It looks nice. We think they did a good job. They were very expensive for what we were getting.

I was very pleased. The estimate was lower than two others I had received. The work was done excellently and they worked on my time schedule, which was important to me. I have a great room and I didn't want my kitchen torn up for weeks. They were polite and they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them.

Granite Transformations of Grand Rapids
It went as advertised. They measured everything and did a pattern which they took back to the shop. It was two years ago so I can't remember how long it took but they brought the completed overlays at the time they said they would and installed them. The installation was very good, tight up to an existing backsplash. The seams between sections are minimal and so fine as to be almost invisable. We choose this granite overlay method because our formica countertop was glued on and we risked probable damage to the cabinetry if removed. As this overlay is much thinner than regular granite countertop but costs pretty much the same, I would choose regular granite countertops if that option is available without too much hassle. For problematic replacement, Granite Transformations is a viable but relatively expensive option.

On March 18 GranitePro owner came to our house (within one week of original contact.) He reviewed work to be done and gave us an estimate. His lowest estimate was based on a provided and quot;Promo Listand quot; of 20+ granite colors. It was suggested we visit one of the Grand Rapids area granite warehouses. We chose to go to Mont Granite in Grand Rapids. They had a large selection of much easier to choose a color based on a huge piece of stone! We found and reserved a slab,( it happened to be on the Promo List), to be delivered to Granite Pro. We then ordered a new sink, faucet and garbage disposal and when we received those items we called GranitePro to set up an April 19 template date. The measurements were done with a laser and was a very efficient process. On April 29 the old counter tops were removed and the new granite installed. The only and quot;glitchand quot; with this whole process was our existing ceramic tile back splash. It extends from the top of the 4and quot; counter back splash to just under the cabinets. The removal process of the old counter top went smoothly and the ceramic tile was not harmed. But because the new granite was of a different thickness than the old existing solid surface, the 4and quot; granite back splashes had to be and quot;customand quot; made after the counter top was installed. That caused a 16 day delay....basically because GranitePro got very busy and the crew was out of town. During this hiatus the office staff (Pam) did a stellar job of keeping us informed and letting us know we were not forgotten. The 4and quot; back splashes were installed on May 15 and look fantastic. The transformation of our kitchen is awesome.....canand quot;t believe the difference! We are extremely pleased with the final result.

JIm Thompson (business owner) is a pleasant gentleman who provided helpful suggestions for what might fit our needs. He gave detailed estimates of the work to be done and there were no surprise added costs. There was some delay for the start date, which was completely the fault of his supplier and their mistakes. Jim kept us informed as those mistakes were resolved, but once underway, the work proceeded in a timely fashion. The finished product was everything we had hoped for. JIm obviously takes pride in his work. We are entirely pleased.

ANA Granite LLC
Installed kitchen and bath countertops. Chips in both. Cut hole in the wrong piece but replaced. Sloppy install. Seams are very noticeable. Not at all what I had hoped for. This install is through the builder but I would never use them again.

Jacobsen Remodeling Inc
As soon as I met Dwight I knew this would be an excellent job and experience. I was very pleased with Dwight at Jacobsen and with all the people he works with. Every single one was friendly, polite, and professional. The venting issues were difficult but they were solved to my great satisfaction. Dwight and Chris, our foreman, are very detail oriented, and worked carefully to make sure nothing was overlooked or left in an unfinished fashion. I have wood flooring in the kitchen and everyone was careful to keep the floors from any damage. The chimney people were very careful also to keep things clean. My new stove and countertop and refinished woodwork make the kitchen look like new! I was delighted with the results and would recommend Jacobsen to anyone. I will certainly call him for our next project!

They were a little expensive however they installed a good countertop. I did think that they could have done a little better on the installation but overall I am pleased. They were nice to work with and responsive to any questions that I had.

Recent Review: They were very professional, helpful and responsive in answering questions and giving us a quote. In the end, we decided not to repair the countertop and sink but replace it entirely. as the previous owner installed it and it no longer fit our decor. Even though we didn't use them to make the repairs, we were very impressed with their customer service.

Recent Review: All three tops are crooked and out of square. Even the small 25 X 31 inch top is not a true rectangle nor matches the shape of the cabinet. The island top is 6 sides, 1 side is not square and 1 side doesn't match the cabinet angle. None of the sides overhang the cabinets by the same amount. The sill was cut too narrow so that it doesn't fit wall-wall over the sink. Gomez refuses to fix because he has been paid in full. The large top was off so bad because the seam was cut crooked and they never noticed it before they epoxied it on site, that they cut out drywall to try and compensate for poor fabrication and every edge is crooked to the cabinets because of it. They ground so much material trying to fit the pieces together at the crooked seam that now that it is pushed into the wall, the other end doesn't even touch the wall and is underground so much that the corner isn't square. It's exactly like this was there first job. Alfonso Gomez said "I have never ever had this issue before as you can see in my reviews and my pictures." Well Alfonso, My tops glisten in the light as well but are shamefully crafted and crooked as he has seen with his own eyes yet he refuses to act without being sued. Angie, Please don't promote this company on your site because the proof is in my kitchen and probably many others that never thought they had to take a closer look at whether his angles matched theirs and these posted pictures don't reveal that
