Avalon Building Concepts

I was looking for someone that could build a deck with a ramp on my condo. Avalon was the first company that was very inviting. Other companies where elusive about giving information on how they would exactly go about making the design stretch happen. I really like that they stand behind their

Before contracting with Bay to Bay, please check the Better Business Bureau and Yelp Reviews as you’ll notice a definite trend since November of 2021. Severe lack of communication. Blatant lies told to us by the Owner, CEO, and multiple staff. Quality of work does not match price paid (ie, gouges

Jon and his crew were communicative and listened to what I wanted to do with the deck. He offered a very competitive price. Completed the project in a few days. I am very pleased with how it has held up over the past year. I will be using the Deck Dude for a ramp project this summer as I am so

The Deck Dude LLC

Jonathan is clearly passionate about his craft—that's why I hired him. He walked me through an inspection of his own pointing out technical flaws with the existing build. He gave me a quote right there, and I gave him a downpayment. Contractors like the Deck Dudes are usually in high demand, so

Ben and his subs did a wonderful job. They were all very professional and took pride in their work. They cleaned up after themselves every day and answered any questions we had. They made the entire remodel project a pleasure for us. The agent from the VA was very impressed with the quality of work

HE IS A VERY GOOD AND HONEST MAN. THE RAMP REALLY WORKS GREAT AND IT IS A LOT EASIER TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. I ACTUALLY JUST HIRED HIM AGAIN TO DO SOME WORK IN MY BATHROOM TO MAKE IT MORE ACCESSIBLE.

Elliott came out and was extremely helpful in detailing our deck needs and explaining the materials. We chose Bay to Bay for their professionalism and quality and are looking forward to our new composite deck this summer.

What do customers in Grand Rapids say about Build Wheelchair Ramps?

I had three service providers to my home to give me quotes on removing my old wooden two-level deck in backyard and build a new deck with accessibility to my home. Ben Bosworth was the only one to provide a design that was one level thus eliminating possible safety issues. His quote was similar to another provider's two-level deck with ramps quote. Ben's price was fair for the amount of work/materials required for the project. I feel I received my money's worth. The deck, ramps, and landing were built with composite material (TREX) and to ADA compliance. The deck is approximately 15x30' with ramps 5x20' and two 5x5' landings. The final result is more that I could have imagined: extremely functional for my young grandson's power wheelchair to access my home and it looks fantastic ("Home Beautiful" magazine quality.) The work crew were prompt and kept the worksite clean even washing deck daily as each phase was completed. Workers were polite and professional.Ben made sure the deck met my needs and was quality-built. TREX representative checked out the final deck project ensuring it met their criteria it did.Thank you, Ben, I love my new deck and so does my grandson, Thomas. He says it is like going to a hotel.
