Update 09/13/2018 I am apalled that this owner have the adversity to respond to my complaint after 5 years of my review. this is unprofessional, first it speaks highly of my character that I even paid him for the awful job that he'd done and rated him a "D" instead of an "F". Secondly, I find it interesting that the owner can remember in detail this particular situation, I must refute the fact that I have told him, my personal and intimate problems and cried. Its not my style nor character to tell a stranger my problems and cry. I couldn't believe the lies that was riddled in his response, I never had a man threatened him and I was always home when he arrived, I am convinced what the owner means, was to make me look bad in order for him to look good. He was in my house for several days complaining that the project was taking longer than expected, and wanted to charge extra. I originally agreed to pay the extra and that was the time when he said he will be putting the counter top for free, I didn't asked him, but he volunteered. he changed his mind when I wasn't at home, and so he left. and then, degrading the customer, doesn't amend the fact that this is the worst business owner that I've dealt with. The quality of work was below par, and his communication skills were low. Anyone would be welcome to see the work that he had done and would agree with me, you cannot tell that I had a tile work done. and furthermore, i didn't asked him to do the back splash for free, I already had a back splash, and he just offered to enhance with minor things. he offered a lot of things for free in order to sell his business, I learned a big lesson to research a company before you hire them. I have come across individuals that have had the same poor experience. And my original complaint was long but i left along a lot of details, that suggest this owner is completely unprofessional, I did myself a favor for telling him not to come and complete the rest of the work, if nothing else, please remember, if you want your business to succeed, the customer is always right.
