The company was good about calling to inform me of a slight delay in the plumber's arrival. He started right on the project. A complication arose due to a missing part which the company I ordered the softener from did not include. We discussed options and agreed that he would install everything to a point where I could take over once I received the missing part. I was only charged for the work completed at a very fair rate. Very good service, honest and fair dealings. Willing to work with the client if complications arise. Good price

Dale came to the house within two hours after I called for an estimate on Jan. 11th. He called ahead to tell me he was on the way. He gave an estimate of$160.00. As it was late afternoon we decided to wait until Monday. We didn't want something to go wrong with the water line that late in the day. Since it wasn't life or death that was fine. Dale said he would be there Monday morning at 0830. He showed on time and completed the work in about an hour. In addition to the plumbing he installed a brace between the pipe and the wall so it would be more sturdy. Dale was very professional and punctual. I am pleased with his work. He guarenteed the work for one year. The cost of the work was a bit higher than I anticipated but I haven't had the need for any plumbing for several years so I don't really know. Art Douglas had many excellent reviews on Angie's list so that's why I called them. I knew the work would be done correctly and it was. The total cost was $165.00. I did check the work thouroughly and was pleased with the quality. With how the experience went I had no qualms about paying the bill. As a consumer in this climate I want to spend as little as I can. I don't think the cost was unreasonable. I will definitely call them again if needed because I know they will show up on time and will complete the work in a professional manner. Dale offered to haul the water softener away but I declined as I thought I could dispose of it without any problems. If Dale offers to haul something away say yes. Now I have to call someone else to carry the softener away. My bad

Fantastic! A plumber came last week who was a blithering idiot...told me it "was not the valves" and to soak the shower head in vinegar overnight because I have "moderately hard water." I did, still leaked! Kevin from Walt's Plumbing came the same afternoon that I called (fantastic!!) and diagnosed the problem correctly as the valves and replaced both for 2 shower heads. Problem fixed! We talked about adding a heat pump for hot water and he was so knowledgeable and explained so well I am having him do that. We also talked about water softeners and he said it would be very difficult and expensive because of the layout of the irrigation, so I won't do that. By the way the phone number shown on his listing on Angie's List is wrong, from their old office. Correct phone # is 559-299-4189
