Our family could not be happier with the outcome of the large project that The Wood Floor Guys did for us. We had the original, 35 year old oak floors in our home refinished, replaced carpet in two rooms with wood to match the rest of the flooring and replaced the carpet in our staircase with hardwood planks. The newly laid wood floors in the two rooms match the refinished original floors perfectly, the stairs look amazing and the entire job was excellently done. The crew was really great to work with as well. We could not think of a better experience with a contractor. I have a solid oak living room floor that I wanted to use without carpeting. As it turns out it is absolutely beautiful, it was hard to believe. I looked for someone to sand it for me. He came in and sanded and refinished it for me. It is a pretty good sized floor. He did not overcharge, I didn't think anyway. He did a perfect job, it looks like a brand new floor. I can't imagine anybody doing a better, cheaper, or more politely job

My wife and I stopped by Aand M Flooring just to get some info and ended up going with them. We met a salesman named Jose and was very helpful from start to finish . The carpet looks great and feels even better . We had stopped by a flooring liquidator and wasn't helped till we were about to leave. the second place took down our information and made an appointment and never showed up. the job began on time using his son as a helper. They removed old plywood flooring and replaced it with OSB tongue and groove flooring. They impressed me with their forethought before starting the job as the logistics were complicated by wiring and previously installed storage component. All the measurements and custom cuts came out perfect and when finished the floor was capable of being covered with tile or linoleum. I supplied the OSB and they provided the wood screws (no nails) and tools

My parents stumbled across Doors, Floors and More when looking to replace some of their flooring. At the time, I was also looking in to replacing a significant amount of my flooring. I wanted hardwood, but was afraid of it because we have a dog, and a pool...and a dog that goes in the pool...and we use our kitchen a lot. Wood in the kitchen just made me tense. I had decided to go wood look tile, and at my parent's insistence, headed out to Doors, Floors and More to talk with Mike and see what they had. I will be forever grateful that I talked to Mike. He was extremely knowledgeable about various types of flooring and asked me lots of questions. He then offered me his perspective, which included lots of things I hadn't thought about. Mike was willing to sell me whatever kind of floor I wanted, but his opinion was that wood was my best option. After taking some samples home and letting Mike's comments marinate in my brain, I decided to go hardwood. With Mike's help, I narrowed it my choices down. In the meantime, I was getting a bid from another flooring company because I thought some comparison was in order. Other bid came in ridiculously high, and upon visiting the other store, I saw the hardwood floor I wanted. It was over $3.00 more per square foot at other store! Needless to say, I left other store and didn't look back. Mike ordered the hardwood for me, and delivered it to the job site once the installers came. Mike gave me the name of the installer and that team did an amazing job. He followed up regularly with me to check on the progress of the job and seemed genuinely concerned that I was happy with my choice. I am not interested in getting a job done at the cheapest possible price. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg, but I'm okay with paying for quality. With DFM and Mike, I feel like I got a great price and great quality. Honest, dependable, helpful and fair...what more can you ask for? Oh and PS--my parents had the same experience. They are equally thrilled with the flooring and the service they received

Beautiful product, good prices. Only issue was a delay in shipping of several weeks due to inventory. This delay caused issues with scheduling on a whole-house renovation and it would have been quite useful to know about upfront, rather than having to call them repeatedly for updates. When the flooring finally arrived, weeks late, it was beautiful and in very good shape. I would use them again, but I would order much earlier than needed to allow for any delays

He was friendly, professional, and I instantly trusted his expertise to provide a good recommendation and plan of what to do. He and his crew arrived at my house exactly at the time we specified. They did an excellent job sanding and restoring the floors. I gave them a big challenge to match the tone of a (newer) floor nearby, and he mixed up a custom stain which matches perfectly. They cleaned everything up and left my home in great condition. Overall, the floors look great and everyone compliments them. I would work with this provider again

I met with Jason to review the flooring, it was previously carpeted over & decided to restore the original wood flooring throughout the house instead of re-carpeting. He was able to start right away & provided good communication, recommendations & updates. He started with the replacement of several missing oak floor slats, then continued to refinish the entire living rm, dining, hallway & bedrooms. The entire project took about 4 days with a day or 2 for the final coat (3-total) to complete. We are very happy with his professionalism, very courteous & just good people. Additional $200 above quote was reasonable for additional repairs & basically material costs for damaged slats found during the process
