Not happy with the results. They didnt clear the backyard before spraying the seed, now we have stones and nails all over the grass since this was a new construction. They put in a temporary fix for the drain in the middle of the yard and never came back to properly fix it. They did not fill the channels they dug up properly and they all sank in. I had to hire someone else to fix that. Also, the sprinklers they put are not deep enough so they are way above the ground level.

Landscapers arrive when scheduled and do a great job of maintaining our yard including mowing, edgeing, and weed maintenance. They will re-seed if needed.

I like that I can communicate with them. The man in charge grew up here and is a business man. He is knowledgeable; he went to school for this. Everyone on the team is really polite and I can call and easily have a conversation. It is a real business rather than just someone who mows the lawn.

He was supposed to level out or grade our backyard. Then prep the soil near our porch for grass seed meaning til the soil, apply a topsoil and fertilizer etc and lay down some seed. He was supposed to fix our sprinkler system for the back yard. And fix a leaking pipe under some cement in the front yard. He was supposed to remove a small portion and close off the leak then cover up the damage with cement. He said it would like smooth. He kept pressuring me to pay him on time. He would do part of the work then keep talking and leave without answering my concerns. On the last day I mentioned to him one of the sprinklers wasn't reaching the trees and instead was soaking the middle post of my wooden patio he said he would fix it but never did. He never closed off the old sprinkler system so they leak when the water is on. He didn't till the land or level it. There are huge areas where the water overlaps and makes large puddles so no grass grows there due to excess water. The cement he laid is terrible it is not a smooth transition at all. He said he would install a wall system to control the sprinklers we bought the one he told us and he never installed it. He doesn't respond to phone text or call now 2 weeks out. I've looked back at angies and this isn't the first time he's done this.

The irrigation system updates went okay. The bark he put in the planting areas was really dirty. It had all kinds of debris in it. My biggest problem was Mr. Anderson's attitude. He could be quite rude at times when he was questioned about what was going on. I don't know if he would have treated a man the same way. As to the monthly landscaping, the guys who came were pretty good and the price was reasonable ($100.00 per month) but it was really mow and go. Everything would carry an extra charge - like putting grass seed on the lawn - would charge $100.00 which I think is pretty outrageous. When I spoke to his office about cancelling the service, the guys showed up again the next week like usual so clearly, their office didn't inform them.

Initial installation appeared satisfactory. AR Landscaping did a very good job of installing a good quality sprinkler system which works very well; however, there was soil settling over some of the trenched areas and the lawn incurred considerable die-back. AR Landscaping wasn't sure what caused the die-back, and after a months wait due to a big job they had contracted, AR Landscaping returned to repair the yard that included filling the settled areas, over seeding the bare spots and adding additional fertilizer. The net result is the repair work actually made the yard more uneven and the lawn area never recovered and thinned out considerably more over the winter. I am unhappy with the law and have not called them back, as I have lost confidence in the organization and plan to repair the lawn myself.

We are very impressed with Al and Sprinkler 911. He promptly responds to calls and arrives for work on time. His quotes are accurate and we didn’t receive any surprises. He listened to our ideas, and he took the time to develop a plan with us. We never felt like he was trying to push his own ideas or to make it a bigger job. We are very happy with the quality of his work and attention to detail. We had him place completely new irrigation in a 1 acre backyard area, remove trees, move rocks, place new topsoil, and prepare the soil for seeding. He finished on time and in budget. His prices are comparable to other contractors. That being said, we feel we got a great value because it was a pleasure working with him. I highly recommend Al and Sprinkler 911. We will be having him do more work for us in the future.

He wanted me to pay him cash up front. I gave him $2000.00 but would not give him the balance of the $1500.00 until the work was done. He refused to give me a receipt for the $2000.00. We also discussed him putting in a fence in my backyard and he quoted me $6000.00 FOR THAT. His worker came back to finish things and was pretty much done but the sprinkler system needed to be turned back on and seed needed to be put out on the lawn as well. I called Tom because his worker did not know how to do that. Tom said he would come out in a couple of days and I said I wanted him to come out sooner. I wanted him to finish it so I could get him paid. I then started thinking about the fence and I decided I did not want him to do that work for cash and he would not take a cashiers check. I decided I was going to terminate him and told him I wanted his address and I would send him a cashiers check for the balance owed. He texted me back and said his tools were in my backyard and that he wanted to pick them up. I replied to him I did not agree to store his tools on my property and to come and pick them up on the sidewalk in front of my house. He pulled up and started yelling at me. He then tried to jump over my locked fence. I called 911. When he could get over the fence, he backed up in my driveway and he dumped a lot of debris from my yard and left it all in my driveway. It was a lot of debris and I could not get my car out of the driveway now. He then texted me and said I could pay him $1500 with a cashiers check or he would put a lien on my house. The police came out and saw the debris and contacted him. (The officer's name was John Lindsey and his badge number is 1284. The event number is 21AN3892.) They told him he needed to move the debris out of my driveway. He said he would not do that until I paid him the $1500.00 first. I will be paying the amount anyway because I don't want to further damage in my house. I cost another $480 for another company to cleaned up the spoilage for what he done.
