She arrived a few minutes late which ultimately was not a problem for me. I explained what I needed done. We worked out a process of sorting and filing papers. We set to work together. When decisions came up, I found her easy to work with. She listened to my logic and also explained to me her logic in a way that made it possible for us to arrive at a workable process. We got a lot done in 2 hours. It was a pleasant process, and I was satisfied with the quantity of the work done in that time.

Recent Review: Meg's professional organizing skills rescued me when I was preparing for a move from California to Virginia. I had 3 days to get everything sorted and packed, and I was feeling overwhelmed by all of the decisions I needed to make. Meg spent just 5 hours at my house, but at the end of it, I was where I needed to be to make it to moving day. She didn't do the work for me. Instead she gently coached me, asking questions and suggesting guiding principles for discarding and donating items. In the end, I had thinned and packed my whole closet, cleared my desk, and organized my children's toys and artwork. Later in the evening, Meg even cleaned my kitchen! This was above and beyond what I had asked her to do for me--it bought me a few precious hours of packing time, and that shiny, clean kitchen lifted my spirits when I really needed a lift. Meg has a great sense of humor and a light touch. She engaged beautifully with my children and my husband, and provided the calm presence we all needed. I highly recommend Meg as a professional organizer / declutterer / life coach. She will help you find clarity, whether you are moving house or just trying to have a less cluttered, more productive life.
