Initially I was satisfied with service. When Ashtree could not safely repair my insert I went ahead and purchased a new one from them. Ashtree contacted with a subcontractor who walked off my job after 1 day leaving the job unfinished. The owner of Ashtree, and the subcontractor are now both putting responsibility back off onto the other party (with me caught in the middle) despite the fact that Ashtree hired the subcontractor and my contract was with them, making them legally responsible. Now the job remains unfinished and neither party can be bothered to come to my home and put up a tarp despite repeated requests that someone do so to help prevent cold air from coming into my home. I'm not upset so much at minor issues with finishing the job as I am the lack of responsibility on the part of both Ashtree, and it's subcontractor and unwillingness to put up a tarp to ease my discomfort in a difficult situation. Such a small gesture refused to ease the discomfort of a customer speaks volumes about how much both I and my business mean to Ashtree AC and chimney. Truly sad!
