EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION. VERY PROFESSIONAL. METICULOUS INSTALLATION AND CLEANUP. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM SOLVER FOR A LEAKING DECK. THIS WOULD ALSO BE GREAT FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION.

Texas Fiberglass Pools, Inc
Services exceeded our expectations. The vrews were on time and professional. They were responsive to any of our questions or concerns. This is the second pool the family has had refinished by this company. The first pool and decking is still looking great 3 years later.

Bartlett Home Care & Repair
When we moved into this house in 2006, we had a contractor install a new fence and add a small deck. Since then, the fence and deck have been re-stained twice. The Texas heat and sun has again taken it's toll on the the deck surface. I concluded that another choice for treating the deck was needed. After seeing a few ads for 2 "wood coatings", I called Wayne to give me his opinion and and an estimate to coat the deck surface. He came by to survey the situation. He recommended one of products, and gave his sound reasons for the recommendations. Wayne gave me an estimate for his services to apply the material, including pre-washing the deck. I chose to buy the material, since I needed to go to Home Depot to confirm color selection . Wayne and his assistant arrived on a Monday to wash and prep the deck surface. They returned the following day to apply the first coat. They worked quickly and efficiently. The second coat was applied on the third day. I am very pleased with Wayne's work on this project. This is the 4th project that he has done for us. Couldn't be happier! I already have another project in mind for Wayne to tackle in the near future

Premier Wood Care
The crew was very professional and polite. They were very careful around our pool and did a great job cleaning up after the stain was applied. The crew completed the job about a week early for the price quoted in the original estimate. The stain/sealant they use has been rated as a top performer by the Texas A&M Forestry Service. The fence and deck, both about 10 years old, look brand new. I would definitely hire them again

John's Handyman Service
It was an excellent experience...communication was prompt and consistent throughout the process, work was done on time, workers were polite, efficient, and trustworthy (and even humored our dogs). 2.5 days of work - $1500 - many projects completed that I just would never be able to get to - this is money well spent with NO AGGRAVATION

Classic Tile & Plaster
I contracted Classic Tile and Plaster to refurbish our pool with a pebble sheen service. Overall, they did an excellent job and we were very pleased with the results. All crews were timely, polite and very professional - from preparation to clean-up. in addition, the office staff (from sales to scheduling) were very responsive and returned any calls in a timely manner. An A+ from service and installation experience....

SEAL AMERICA OF TEXAS
Very hard worker and reasonably priced as well. HE shows up when he says he will and will call if any delays should arise. I will definitely use them again. they clean up very well after they are finished too.

SOUTHWEST FENCE AND DECK
Built an upstairs deck for me. When it came time to do some of the trim work though, they cut corners and used cheap masonite trim and failed to seal it from the elements before having another contractor throw a coat of paint on top. One year warranty on materials and workmanship. About 18 months later, that masonite trim had absorbed moisture and was swelling up in places (say it isn't so - well, it's outdoors...DUH). You'd think a "DECK and FENCE" company would know better than this. Well, they do and it's painfully obvious what they did...but well after the fact. You pretty much have to manage the job for this outfit to make sure they do quality work. You'd think the sales rep and the project manager would frequent the job site to make sure things are going well. Nope...not once, until you start calling to report issues in the quality of the build and then they show up with boxing gloves to defend their mistakes. Never again. My advice to Southwest Deck and Fence: Invest the money we spent with you **VERY** wisely. Word-of-mouth travels fast, and you can bet I'll be telling all my acquaintances about your shoddy job

ATD Concrete Coatings
I called and talked with Barry to get an estimate. We planned a time and he came out to see what needed to be done. He wrote me an estimate, and said I would save 15% if I had the work done within a month. I'm not sure if this discount was because of Angie's List or because I had been a customer some years ago. I called a couple of weeks later and scheduled the work to be done. Two men came out and pressure washed the pool deck. They came back the next day to do most of the work. Then they came back again to finish it off. The process required time in between for things to dry and set up. They came back to leave me some extra paint when I asked for it, and they touched up some spots that I told them about. They were very accommodating and did a very good job

ATD Concrete Coatings
We had used ATD to coat our patio and pool deck when our pool was originally built in 2001. Over time the coating had become dirty and difficult to clean. Additionly some small cracks had developed that needed repair. ATD did a fine job in re-storing the patio and deck and fixing the cracks. They arrived as scheduled and were very profesional during the whole process. I especially like the fact that they cleaned up and took all trash with them. The patio and pool deck look brand new again!

ATD Concrete Coatings
Everything turned out very well. The contact person was knowledgeable and helpful with keeping us from making a big mistake on our color choice. We did have some problems arranging the concrete work before starting the deck covering, but this was only a mild inconvenience. The work looks great and the clean up was better than average. We only put a B on punctuality because we were told something would be completed prior to a freeze but the workers didn't return until 2 days later. Again, a minor inconvenience

John and his crew are excellent. I had to have this project finished by a particular date and they delivered. His crew was hardworking, responsive and professional. During the job there were a few changes and John never gave an indication that they were an inconvenience or problem. I would recommend Dockmasters to anyone who needs a deck or dock built, repaired or restored. Their work was excellent

The project could not have gone better! The quality of the work is outstanding and Kevin is great to work with. He kept all of his commitments, always arrived when he said he would, kept me informed, and worked with me to get the finished product the way I wanted it. He willingly made changes in the scope, as the work progressed, to remedy unanticipated conditions of the existing concrete work and to insure the coloring/staining was just as I wanted. That was not easy given the existing stain/paint. Kevin provided excellent advice on coloring and techniques to achieve what I wanted. We easily agreed, when the work was completed, on an adjusted price, to address the additional work and materials required
crew and work were good. started early and finished early. price was a little higher than other estimates but close enough to use. the estimator, dave, was very professional and sold us on using his company. he stayed in touch during and after the job and dealt with the changes we had. easy and good to work with him
Very happy with the end product. We worked with Josh and he was excellent in explaining and answering questions throughout the project. He, the deck, paint & roof crew were very professional & courteous. Work spanned over a period of 5 days. Only complaint is the punctuality of when crew showed up vs when they said they will. Not a big deal but would have been great if they were punctual. Overall extremely satisfied with the finished project
I couldn't be happier overall. Erik came out Friday and had a quote done in minutes. It was reasonable and I had a favorable impression overall of Erik and Next Door. It didn't hurt that they had excellent ratings. So I called Monday to confirm, and the crew was out the next day and finished the entire job in one day. The attention to detail was impressive and I would definitely recommend Next Door Painting
My wife and I are senior citizens. I am also a disabled Vietnam veteran. I have been a maintenance man for over 50 years. When we decided that our roof needed to be replaced, I realized because I am disabled that for the first time in my life that I was going to have to rely on somebody else to do the job. Needless to say that thought scared us deeply. We have heard the horror stories where senior were devastated by crooks and scam artist took their money and did not perform the work agreed upon or worse. When I was in the US Air Force I did analysis work, investigating and troubleshooting problems and identifying complacent and poor performing personnel and defective substandard equipment and products. I used this experience to investigate over 25 roofing companies in the DFW area. I created a 5 page questionnaire in order to separate out the excellent, good, mediocre, poor, and down right criminal. I chose 7 of the companies that I considered to be excellent and called to set up a schedule to inspect our roof and give us a written quote. While they were here I asked to answer my 5 page questionnaire. Two of those companies did not respond at all. Of the five that did respond 1 left almost immediately when asked question about honesty and integrity, 1 company gave a written quote but never answered my questions. 1 company was overcharging and was very unscrupulous. There was one company that towered above the rest, completed the questionnaire beyond my expectation and left no doubt in my mind that they were going to take care us. That company is Swan Roofing in Plano. They have an actual office! They are honest to a fault, they have integrity, they are very responsive and prompt, they are very professional and most of all their whole team really CARES!!! Kelly the salesman was a roofer with years of experience and not only got me a good deal, but was on site every day and went upon the roof to ensure top quality lnstalation and materials. He took great care to answer all my question during the installation as well. He is a decent honest Christian man. I trust him completely and you can too. Raul was in charge of the installation. He is a real hard working no nonsense professional. He was early to start and stayed late on the job. He was very detail oriented and gave me the best roof that could be had by anyone. Again, very trustworthy, accurate, and through. There is no finer crew in Texas. Lisa coordinated and scheduled my roofing installation. She retuned my phone calls promptly and answered all my questions. I had NO anxiety or worry during the installation process because of her responsiveness and the actions and concerns of the whole team, including many caring people in the background that I didn’t get to meet. All that I love about this company I am sure is do in no small part to the man that met me at his office, Mr. Swan the owner of the company. His character, honesty, integrity and professionalism is prevalent throughout the whole company. The whole roofing job was completed in three days, sooner than expected, to my greatest expectations. I conclude this to say, look no further, if you need roofing work done, if you are afraid of being taken advantage of, if you don’t know who to trust, and you don’t know how to find the most reputable company. I am a Vietnam veteran, I have trust issues and I trust and believe in this company and I guarantee you can too. I now have the roof to prove it. It rained heavily the last couple of days and we are dry
Jesse did a great job of tearing down my old deck and repairing the damaged areas around my house caused by rotted wood He then put siding and new gutters all over the house as requested. He even replaced my fence door and doorbell. My house looks great. He will also be coming back to my house to install my special order storm doors once they come in. So happy with the results
Overall, they did a satisfactory job. It was very impressive that the project manager came every day to check on the crew and get status. The crew of 3 were very dedicated, hard workers. The biggest complaints that I have 1.) they did a very POOR job on my doors. The doors were painted RED. Any skilled painter should Know that it is recommended when using painting a white surface RED, you should prime with a light pink color so that you don’t have to do multiple coats. They estimated 2 and ended up doing 5 and charged an additional amount for the additional coat. I would highly recommend that 5 Star management re-train the estimators / painter leads on a.) Red Paint application and B.) How to paint and caulk doors (possibly spray paint versus by hand). Caulking work was messy. They used a roller on the flat surface of the doors and made a complete mess of them. One of the doors was brand new and now the surface is all bumpy. And streaks are showing through. The Project Manager attempted to make it right, but the doors were already messed up. Another coat would have made it worst. I would not allow this company to hand paint your doors and require they have them sprayed. Also, during the walk through, I had to point out many needed touch ups. I was very surprised by their reply (NO) when I asked whether the paint lead and/or PM went around to check prior to client having to point out all of the touch ups. I was planning to use 5 Star again to paint the cabinets in my office but I would hesitate at this time based on the paint job they did on the exterior doors
The work was all very professionally done. The crew arrived on the agreed date and powerwashed all the surfaces that were to be painted. The next day a small army came and began the prep work of repair and stayed to finish up the primer coat of paint. I was very impressed that they worked a 12 hour day. The crew was back punctually at 8:00 the next morning to apply the paint. Besides the excellent work, the owner, Kent Franklin, was very responsive to my request to fix part of the soffit with new wood after the painting was completed. I really appreciated the timely manner and the number of men on the crew so that the job could be completed in three days. I certainly can highly recommend this firm
Nielsen and his staff are always professional. They arrive when they say they will, and work hard while they're on the premises. They pay attention to detail and make sure you are satisfied with the work., In addition to my pergola, Nielsen and his staff did the extensive painting on my bathroom remodel job, and did an excellent job on it
Augustine and team are amazing! Fantastic eye for detail, punctual, accommodating, excellent quality of work. I have NOTHING bad to say about these guys. They are the best! I will recommend them to everyone I know.
If you want quality work with trustworthy artisans doing the job, North Dallas Renovations is the group to hire. The job took longer than I had been given to think it would, but when you have a husband going around saying, "And can you also do...?" then you must expect things to take a bit longer (and cost a little more). The workers doing the jobs are all experts. They care about the job they do, and it shows in the final product! Everything is perfect...and when it wasn't, then they immediately stepped in and made it so. They were here when promised...on time and intent on doing the job. Kyle and Kim are wonderful to work with on the planning; Brady was my contact for communication and was totally responsive and eager to take care of my requests and concerns; and the day to day artisans that created the kitchen of my dreams were superb ... everyone of them. They cleaned up at the end of each day so I wouldn't be living with trash/dirt that happens with this kind of remodel. They respected our privacy, and were personable and polite and pleasant to have around the house. Now that it is finished, we are already planning other projects. North Dallas Renovations is the only company we would think of using for any of them. They literally can do anything!! Love, love, love them
New Spray came out, looked over all that needed to be done, and they bid on the total job, including their special primer and coating, called Cool Spray, and we accepted their bid. They came on time, they repaired all the window sills, they replaced any wood that needed replacing, they dug around the foundation, where possible, and primed and then painted below ground level, to keep moisture, mold, mildew, and deterioration from the outside of the farm house. They went out of their way to prepare the structure, then took their time painting the three colors we had selected. The result was spectacular. The home is now crack free, all the trim and sills are new and caulked and primed and painted. They warrantied their work as long as the home stays in the family. We couldn't be more pleased with their work. Where there was inside repair on the windows to be done, they went all the way to paint the inside walls, an
2 big jobs. 1st job was 21 apartment buildings that needed to be cleaned and painted. Finished on budget, and way before the time estimate. Also replaced all the patio surrounds (84 of them). Really an amazing job. 2nd job was cleaning our church's roof and brick, then staining the brick. Very thorough, alway considerate of church foot traffic, and a flawlessly completed job. These are the guys I recommend to anyone needing this type of work. They listen, and do what you want them to do
Ramon was great. He came the same day I called and provided an estimate. He started work the next afternoon. The work he did looks awesome and we will be having him back to repair some of the bricks on our house. He has a great eye for seeing things we had not noticed before. However, he is not quick to create a huge bill of additional services and instead told us what to watch for over the next year. Good guy, easy to work with, very knowledgeable about his work
Ben Rosenthal came out to work with me and advise on painting and completely refreshing the exterior painted parts of my house. He gave me solid advice about replacing the gutters (and recommened AAA Seamless Aluminum Gutter Co/George C*** in NRH - A+) and we chose to coordinate with AAA remove the gutters prior to painting, matching colors, and the put up the new after all the fascia under the gutter system was repaired, scraped, and caulked. The entire Platinum team was great. Neat, thorough, clean. Not a spot of paint ended up anywhere it wasn't supposed to. The crew did a superb job replacing trim, wood, and siding where it was need. Every conceivable seam was caulked, All areas were masked well and the team worked for about two days paying attention to the details. They prepped and painted my decks, gate, refinished and stained my front doors, painted the roof stacks. A really nice job. After the job was done and the gutters were up, they came back and touched up in spots where the gutter installation smuged the paint a bit. They even stepped up to help me solve an ugly looking drip edge across my rear decks. All I can say is "First Class" and thank you. I do not know how it could have possibly gone better. If you are shopping around for bids, one might initially think that Platinum is a bit more expensive than the low bidders, but in the end they do a remarkable job and go the extra mile. In the end, is worth every penny
