They came out to refinish my fiberglass shower insert. The quality was very poor. It had smudge marks in it, globs of the finish that weren't smoothed out, it was chipping, and drip marks. The website state they have a warranty on their work but don't believe that. If you contact them the claim they don't service your area anymore, even if they were there a month ago. I finally got them to come out and the guy who showed up scraped the finish of with his fingernail (I'm pretty sure it supposed to be harder than that) and then said he didn't have enough time to repair it. Try calling the Jose and the comments and remarks he said to me are beyond unprofessional. Don't waste your money or time on this company. Poor quality, unprofessional, and false statements on their website about a warrant. Save yourself the stress and expense and go with someone else

Superior Finish
Bobby was great! He responded to my initial phone call within a few hours of leaving him a message. He came out the next day and arrived a few minutes early. He was very pleasant and not at all condescending. I felt like he was very honest -- telling me that the cracks I was seeing were cosmetic and had not caused any damage. I had initially only called him out to fix the tub cracks and he had given me an estimate of $100 over the phone. When he saw the cracks he charged me much less to do the repair (I think $45?) and then happily agreed to tend to the rust stains and chipped porcelain in the other tubs. He cleaned up the minor scratches on the kid's tub, left no mess, and even left me with half a bottle of cleaner to use on the faint rust shadows that remained

I contacted Roger on April 2nd and explained that we had a crack in the floor of a one-piece fiberglass shower and would like to have it repaired. We agreed for him to come by and take a look on April 6th. After Roger looked at our shower, he showed us that the problem was actually the fact that there was no support for the shower floor other than the drain itself. The original builders had installed the shower without building up any support for the floor. This was causing the floor to move up and down on the drain when weight is applied. Roger indicated that he could repair the existing crack but the floor would continue to crack unless we did something about the support. He explained several options. We decided on an option where small pieces of the shower floor are removed, support is built up under the floor, and then the entire shower floor is repaired. Roger and his son came by on April 12th to complete the work. They were at our home for around 5 hours total. The end product was a sturdy shower floor free of cracks. We were very happy with the end product and felt they did a great job

Bill and his team did a great job. They showed up when promised, worked longer through the day than expected due to delays of the city inspector. They removed the old shower, fixed hidden issues by the original builder, and created a beautiful piece that will last for years. Bill kept us very informed on the progress and any complications throughout the build. While the price might seem high to some, it's worth paying if you want someone to be a Master Plumber, that brought our shower back to code, when the original builders cut corners. He took care of everything from start to finish. I consider it money very well spent to improve my home, without breaking the bank

We live in Frisco TX and bought a new construction home in 2006. The master suite has the typical fiberglass soaking tub (no jets) which I use regularly. I had not used the tub in 2 days and when I went to use it I found a flaking patch the size of a nickel on the floor of the tub near the drain. When I touched the area, it flaked off a bit and it released an air bubble. I assumed at that point the tub was cracked. I searched Angies List for fiberglass repair companies and chose Superior Surface to call based on their reviews and that it was not a large franchise. The day I called I left a message. I didn't receive a call back until the next day. The owner Robert apologized profusely for the delay in returning my call explaining his child had been injured the previous day and he was attending to family matters. His professional and knowledge of his field of work showed through during this call and I booked an appointment. He called me as he said he would 30min - 1hour before arriving the day of the appointment. He showed up on time with his assistant (his wife). Both presented themselves in a very professional and courteous manner. I showed them the tub and he explained it was probably more of an air bubble versus a full crack. When inspecting the damage, he noticed the tub drain collar had some pitting and offered to replace that if I was interested. I took them up on that offer b/c I had been wanting to replace it to get rid of the unsightly pitting I caused by leaving my cleaner in the tub overnight. They quietly went to work and 45 minutes later they brought me in for an inspection. I couldn't even see where the repair work had been done. I am thrilled with the first assessment of their work and professionalism. The tub needs to cure for 24 hours. Should the work not hold up, I will update this review. In the meantime I will have no hesitation in referring this company

Excellent work and service. The New Bath Crew was quick, professional can very conscientious. They took care of all of the details and cleaned up the job completely. Sharp Refinishing
The tub was cleaned, prepped, and refinished in January. When finished, the tub looked brand new. After a few weeks, the bottom developed some rough spots which turned out to be a air hose problem during the process. I called Debbie Sharp (One of the owners) and explained the situation to her. Jim Sharp came out and looked at the tub, and decided he would redo the refinishing job. In February, he and David came out and made the tub look and feel brand new again. Jim and Debbie are very professional and pleasant people to deal with. The tub now looks great. I would have no problem giving Sharp Refinishing a great referral for their job well done

After looking at all of the various things that we needed to do, he gave me a price for each individual task. He had a very professional approach, and his responsibilities were lined out specifically in his contract. I felt very comfortable with providing MED Handyman Services with a key to the property. I was amazed at how efficiently he handled the various tasks. We had had foundation work completed on our house, and that had left a noticeable gap in the fit of the sliding glass door. We had a different company give us a $2,800 estimate to replace the sliding glass door and the adjacent windows. Michael took the sliding glass door out and made adjustments to the rollers, and the gap was gone! That alone saved us $2,800! I will definitely use MED Handyman Services in the future, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I wish that all service people were as responsive and efficient as MED Handyman Services

Ted arrived at our house on time and refinished both our porcelain bathtub and fiberglass shower. When he had completed the projects, both looked new again! What do customers in Fort Worth say about Repair Fiberglass Shower?
Bill, who sets everything up, not very customer service oriented (unfriendly). I was told that the most experienced was sent to my home to do the installation. The morning that the worker was scheduled, the installer arrived promptly and on time. I received a phone call about 30 minutes later that the installer was unable to handle the job. Bill commented that I was not clear regarding the job that needed to be done. We got off the phone and I located a plumber who would be willing to install the floor only. I contacted Bill again and advised I could get a plumber to install the floor and would the installer complete the installation by installing the remaining 3 sides (back and 2 sides). He said he would talk to the installer and would let me know. To date, I have not had a response. At least I was not charged the appointment fee.
