Ernie's Plumbing Service Inc
The plumber, Kevin Bruce #201 (invoice332939) was on time and very professional when he arrived to give an estimate. It was going to be $175 if the drain could be unclogged from inside the house or $295 if he had to do it from the roof. I already had a quote over the phone from another plumbing company for $120 from inside or $160 from the roof. I went with the less expensive company and with the Angie's discount it was $150 from the roof and only took them 15 minutes. I am not sure why it costs $295 to unclog a drain (I assume that was without the Angie's discount) from the roof of a one story house. I'll still give an A because everything was professional and I spent nothing for the estimate. Ernie's may want to look into being more price competitive

I purchased a Big Deal for $89 for $200 worth of services. I called to schedule an appointment and Greg showed up. He was very nice, courteous and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose and clean out our drain that we could not use for weeks. He also left a container of "BioBen" which is a proprietary unclogging liquid by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Bacon Plumbing came out and helped me discover some drainage problems that were the result of a previous install gone wrong. They corrected the leaking conditions, which involved working in a tight crawl space, and completely explained the fixes and repairs. Sandy and Austin were a good team and have earned well deserved praise for their efforts. From estimation to completion the project took 1- 1/2 days

We have used them a couple of times, they were prompt, and they were courteous. I thought they were a little pricey for the time that it took, and it didn’t take very long. They said that because I was on Angie’s List, they were waiving the $49 service fee. They charged me $150, and with the service fee, that call would have been about $200 for ten minutes work on the drain, and that seemed a little pricey. They did what they were asked to do, and I didn’t have much choice about it unless I could do it myself. They told me how to do better maintenance on it, so that I wouldn’t need service on it again, and that was helpful

My water heater had caused the main circuit breaker to cutoff all the power to my house. The electricain who identified the problem said it was most likely a problem with the water heater element/elements that would cause the main circuit breaker to do that. After checking Angie's list I called All Metroplex Plumbing. Fred came out that same day, at the end of his workday, to give me a FREE estimate! He arrived on time and was very professional and pleasant. He concurred that the element(s) and/or possibly the thermostat were bad. He gave me two estimates. If only the thermostat needed to be replaced it would cost less than if the elements needed replacing. He also gave me a discount for being a member of Angie's list. The water heater was only three years old so the parts were covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The next day Fred arrived on time with the parts he'd picked up. While waiting for the water to drain, instead of taking a break, Fred offered to check and unclog the drains in both my bathrooms at no additional charge! When the water had drained he was able to remove the elements and show me the corrosion. He replaced both elements and the thermostat at the quoted price for just the elements. He refilled the water heater and waited for the water to heat. I will definitely call All Metroplex Plumbing for any plumbing needs in the future. I highly recommend this company

Within 28 minutes, Dallas Plumbing (DP) had both drains working perfectly! We had been having problems with our master shower backing up for well over a year. We had been using another company before we called DP to fix this problem. The "other company" had done a bunch of stuff to "fix" the drain, and none of it worked. We were finally at the point of having to put a camera down in the drain and probably start tearing stuff up. That of course would be insanely expensive and unnecessary! My husband and I both decided that we needed a second opinion, so we called DP. I am so happy we did because both drains are doing great! We will continue to use DP for any future plumbing problems we have
