I selected the Pergo waterproof flooring with Pergo gold under layer. I stayed home just to watch the job and it was all perfect from when the guys showed up to the end. They completed everything in one day. I thought to do it myself but their techniques and attention to detail was way worth them coming out. It was a golden ticket to come across them. I have more to go and when budget allows, I will be calling them back to to complete it all

Cooper Installation Services Ltd
4.0
First off my husband and I had encountered a frequent complaint of many other reviewers concerning Cooper Installation Services and laminate flooring installation. Our concrete slab had a 1/4 inch elevation along middle of living room. The directions of laminate (Pergo Outlast) to be installed stated up to 3/16 inch elevation is allowed. We were offered a choice of leveling this with cement for about $300 or grinding the cement down 1/16 inch for $150. We choose the grinding. I do understand the installers following the directions carefully. At the same time I feel DIYers as a rule would not be concerned about 1/16 inch and the DIYers would have had the same results. Of course there is the argument that 1/16 of a inch would void the laminate warranty but over and over I heard in my research that the odds of getting a flooring warranty honored under the best of circumstances are quite slim. Just be aware additional charges are a common complaint among reviewers of laminate installed by Cooper. Now that I got that communicated, do want to say we were overall pleased with our installers. Was told they would arrive between 9 -11, Juan and Raphael arrived at 8:50! They worked solid till the job was done about 1ish. We had one room installed. Had to direct them what direction we wanted the planks laid; initially the first planks were laid in opposite direction that adjacent flooring was laid. Also had to tell one installer that planks needed to be mixed up over a few boxes to insure a better grain. They obliged readily. On the positive side the men were clean cut; spoke English well, and were experienced. They moved my furniture professionally and cleaned up. Pergo Outlast is a laminate that overall gets great reviews but installation is quirky. As Raphael said “it has many rules”. And this team did well. I like to think I researched the whole process well. We purchased the flooring through Home Depot and Home Depot contracts with Cooper Installation for installation. Before I would give Home Depot my credit card, told the flooring associate that first I would check out Cooper Installation. Was very disappointed in their reviews and my gutt said no way can we use them, so I pursued independent installers. Just couldn’t find anyone that had installed Pergo Outlast. I asked one installer to watch a short UTUBE video concerning Pergo Outlast installation and after watching he increased his bid to install by $350! So went back to Home Depot; the flooring specialist said if Cooper was difficult Home Depot would stand by us and I could pull the plug at any time with a prorated refund. Also I was pleased that the Better Business Bureau rated Cooper Installation A+. Although the reviews were mostly negative on the BBB site I felt any conflicts were satisfactorily resolved. So I finally gave Home Depot my credit card and once our laminate was delivered Cooper was able to install 4 days later

It went just beautifully. First, I was glad that Neal would take on a fairly small job to begin with and adding on those other things that needed to be taken care of, but are beyond my ability to fix. Another reason I hired him to do the work is that others have used him for preparing a house for sale and we might be doing that next year, so I wanted to try him out. He and Sarah were responsive and very easy to communicate with through email or phone. The day of the work he arrived on time and took on the task of ripping up the bad wood. A week later he completed repairing the floor and started the other work. He came out to touch up and improve the porch repair at my request and I have absolutely no complaints. When he came back to do the repair, I almost missed him (not that it would have mattered since the repair was outside), but when I called him to let him know I was leaving, he was actually on my doorstep, so he did arrive in the "window" of time. Neal, as a father of small children, was able to anticipate potential problems with the repair process (needing to air out the floor -- and the damage was in the kids room, so this was really important), and that's super valuable to a mother of three small children. He cleaned up after he left...everything was as it should be

The painting and crown moldings were professionally done. Not happy with the hardwood floors as Pergo was installed and not the quality I had discussed with Mr. Hughes. A licensed electrician should have been hired for some of the work. Some of the switches did not work properly after the job was completed. The front door never was caulked and the back screen door does not fit and will not lock. The total job took longer than expected. Some of this was due to Mr. Hughes and some of his crew working at other jobs

Called Carrol Johns after receiving quotes from other flooring contractors to have the floors in my Kitchen, Family Room, Media Room and Hallway replaced. The kitchen had linoleum, the media room had Pergo and the Family Room and Hallway had carpet. I called Carrol Johns because of the excellent reviews on Angie's List. Michael Potash came to my house and reviewed the project, showed my wife and I wood choices, discussed options and subsequently furnished a quote. The quote was slightly more than I received from the other quotes I got. The reason I chose Carrol Johns was that they had better reviews for service and the fact that the other contractors were just installers and would not take responsibility for the wood. I could just imagine if something went wrong; the battles that would take place with the installer blaming the wood and the manufacturer blaming the installer. The Carrol Johns crew came out two days after i signed the contract and started the work. The installation crew consisted of two workers that moved the heavy furniture (we had moved the light stuff and breakables ourselves) and started work. They worked hard for two straight days and completed the job. We had a brick fireplace and decorator wall in the Family room that they had to undercut to make the joint with the flooring and we had a step from the Family Room to the entry foyer that was previously covered with carpet that had to be redone in the wood flooring. Both of these jobs were done with great skill and look great. i received a call from Michael after the work was done to see if I was satisfied. I told him that I was. I have waited until now to post a review because I wanted to give the floor a chance to show problems before i recommended it. No problems have surfaced and it still looks great. I am very satisfied with the process with Carrol Johns Flooring

We purchased the flooring early in June. Our information was not taken down correctly, and by the time we were notified and asked for the appropriate information our flooring had gone on backorder. It was going to be two weeks and we were supposed to be notified when it came in. Two weeks came and went, and we contacted the store and were given several different stories. The floor is here, the floor isn't here, the floor won't be here, we're having pricing issues with the manufacturer, etc. Finally we set up a time for the flooring to be delivered, and my husband specifically told them not to come before 1, that nobody would be home until after 1- was told there wouldn't be a problem, and it is clearly noted on our paperwork. He got a phone call at 11 am, saying that they'd be at our house in 20 minutes and if we weren't home they were leaving. We spoke to the store manager and then scheduled our installation for 5:30, then 7, and finally after 8:00 it came. Our entryway got soaked as it was pouring rain by that time, and mud and dirt tracked through our house. We then had to live around a giant Pergo fort for two weeks until they had time to install. The installation was great. It has been in for two weeks and I haven't found anything major. It was completed in one day and most everything was cleaned up and back in place when they left. If I had been able to find flooring that I liked half as much as the one I picked out at Home Depot, though, I would have called and cancelled our order. The time wasted, stress and hassle trying to get it here was not worth it

Ripped out vinal flooring, leveled floor, layed down tile, grouted, sealed. Took three days overall. They moved all heavy appliances.
The quote was for about $55000.00. They have done our neighbor's kitchen. We knew that their quality was really really good and their speed was really really good. They were in and out very fast for her and it does look beautiful. We ended up not using them and probably wouldn't use them again in the future. They had a definite idea of how they thought things should be and it wasn't quite how we wanted it to be. They didn't seem very open to change. It was more of a personality thing. For our neighbor, what she wanted and what they wanted luckily lined up and they were happy with their kitchen. What he proposed was not how we wanted to do it. He doesn't strike me as a person that I would be able to work with and make changes and discuss things
Carlos and his team remodeled a hall bath and replaced laminate floors and baseboards throughout the home. His team works diligently and with care. If/when issues throughout the process arise they are discussed and resolved to satisfaction. I will use them again for all future remodeling needs.
Kyle and his team at North Dallas Renovations went above and beyond to help me renovate my “fixer upper” into the home I’d always wanted. My project, which completed in February 2018, included installing new wood and tile floors and baseboards throughout the house; renovating two bathrooms (including removing wallpaper and texturing walls); installing granite countertops, sink, faucet, disposal, and backsplash in the kitchen; installing a new back door and siding; and refinishing stairs, front door, and cabinetry. Kyle's pricing was fair, and he scheduled work to complete as quickly and smoothly as possible. Throughout the process, I came to rely on Kyle’s patience, honesty, and sound advice. Several times, I found myself rethinking design choices I had made, and Kyle was quick to adapt, helping me select products and finishes that would complement the house. Every member of Kyle’s team was friendly, conscientious, and took pride in his work, and they were all exceptionally trustworthy—I knew I could leave them alone with my house and even my “fur kid.” I’m extremely pleased with the results of this project, and I would definitely work with Kyle and team again
Went very well. Sales team very helpful and thorough with estimate and what to expect. Workers showed up on time and installed carpet as planned. No problems. A few months later I had the kitchen and extra room upstairs installed. This process went smoothly as well with no hassle. After installation of tile, there were a couple of cracks in the grout at the door thresholds. They came out right away and repaired the problem. Great company to work with and I would recommend them to anyone
Simmons Floor Covering did an outstanding job! This was a big project that took 5 days to complete. Rafael and Daniel arrived on time each day and they were very professional, working 10-11 hours each day to get the project completed. They moved the large pieces of furniture from room to room. They cleaned up all the flooring material throughout the entire project and once they started laying the new floors, they wiped the floors down each night before leaving. The last day they installed the new molding, wiped down the new floors and moved the furniture back. We couldn't be happier with the results and love our new floors! Thank you Simmons! :
They were really good. There were two guys that came out and they were really nice, professional, and clean cut. They were very helpful in moving things around and had good attention to detail.
completed removing carpet and putting down flooring in the bedrooms and stairs. I highly recommend Rivas’s Flooring (Also listed as K***’s Flooing) . Luis Rivas and his associate Fernando did the work. They are very professional and meticulous, and know how to troubleshoot problems. He was a big help with picking out the materials and his prices are very fair. The floors and the stairs turned out beautiful. If you are considering replacing carpet for flooring, especially on the stairs, call Rivas’s Flooring (214) 677-582
We are totally happy with the quality of work and the price. Daniel did great work, really paid attention to details. His tile laying and grouting/caulking was far nicer that the original builder. We will use him again, and recommend him highly.
Removed old carpeting, laminate and linoleum flooring. Resurfaced floors for tiles and wooden floors. New carpeting was placed upstairs and stairway. All done very nicely. Store staff were professional, courteous and customer friendly. A company that is trustworthy and reliable.
I had a hardwood floor damaged by water. Due to the pattern the original floor was done and the type of hardwood, I called over 20 installers and flooring companies and Roy Kelley, the owner, was the only one that had the experience to take this. Literally, everyone else either said It was too hard or had a variety of other reasons why they didn't want to tackle it. Roy and his team came out as promised and did an incredible job. My floor looks like the day the builder installed it. As you can tell, I was extremely pleased with his service. I would highly recommend him for any of your flooring needs without hesitation
So one day I was talking to Carl about wanting to do hardwood floors in my house while he was working on a deck extension project, and the next thing I knew he was sending me pictures and price info via text. Later he brought me a price quote from ProSource Wholesale Flooring. I got a great deal on the flooring, and he negotiated the flooring price below contractor pricing. Carl brought the flooring to my house a few days before the project to allow the flooring to acclimate to my house climate. Craftsman Connection showed up right on time, removed the carpet, and did a great job cleaning the concrete slab for the new flooring to stick to since he found a lot of texture and paint from the builder on the concrete. The flooring was installed so much better than the previous homeowner installed flooring. The joints are staggered like they are supposed to be, and no creaking floors. They did such a nice job of cutting the wood very tightly to the fireplace brick, you can not see a joint. I just love their attention to details. The flooring and base shoe was installed, the room was cleaned up and Carl helped me move the furniture back into the room. That was so nice of him. I'm so happy with the new look of the room. I still haven't stopped starring into my family room, as I walk by and still feel caught off guard by the outstanding good looks. Now we are discussing the Master Bathroom remodel, and designing some really exciting features that you typically see in a spa and a salon. I can't wait. No really. :
This was a sizable project, making a wall where there was previously an archway, cutting a new arch and installing an ornate door in a completely different spot, special wall insulation, tile work, many days of wine rack installation, cooperating with the HVAC folks, led and other lighting fixtures and more. Eric was responsive, prompt and professional from the first contact through completion of the job. We ran a bit over budget and a bit long but it was due largely to our change orders. I would recommend Eric and 360 Remodeling without reservation
Works was done very professional and on time. Crew was excellent and polite. Kept us informed and explained our options for the look we were wanting. Paul and Jennifer were very good to describe the process and product so we had no surprises. We felt we got our moneys worth! Thanks....
Kirk did a great job of working with us over several months. We took a while to make our decision and he helped us patiently and professionally along the way. He personally supervised all of the work performed and applied the stain himself. He was very open to our suggestions and requirements and did everything he could to perform the exact job we wanted. He was extremely friendly, courteous, and available to us
He is spectacular! He was reasonably priced, and he's a master at what he does. He is fast and reliable. I had sixty-year-old floors in most of the house except the kitchen and guestroom. If you walked in, you could not even tell where the old floor begins and the new floor ends. He used real oak and matched it wonderfully. He came back out after a few months and stained all the floors the same

Cen Tex Flooring did a wonderful job in installing Luxury Vinyl floors througout my home. Joseph gave good guidance in choosing an affordable, quality product and his estimate for the job was reasonable. He had to do some problem solving during the installation because of my uneven floor, but the finished floors are flat, solid-feeling to walk on and beautiful. Choosing Cen Tex for my job was a very good decision
