AQUATIC SPA COVERS
These guys are fantastic! We needed a new cover for a used hot tub / spa that we had just purchased. Found them online before we found their listing on Angie's List. Their website had all the information we needed to measure the spa accurately, and they were very prompt to call us back when we requested a quote. Very reasonable on the price - got the finished lid four days after ordering, and it appears well made. It fits the spa perfectly and the insulating value has proved the quality of the materials. The real test will come this winter, but I think we got a great deal and recommend their product

A Brilliant Repair
We hired Mike after finding him on another website to move our hot tub to our new home. They showed up on time, with the right equipment and knew exactly what they were doing. I expected someone to show up with a flat trailer and they showed up with a spa trailer and special dollies. They even had air bags they blew up to lower the hot tub to the ground slowly without damaging it. These guys are affordable, professional and the best choice in Dallas to get your spa moved

TNT Spa Mover
Ben and Garret with TNT Spa Movers were a breath a fresh air. The estimate I received over the phone was honored to the penny even though there was a pergola covering the hot tub which meant they had to move the hot tub out from underneath it to get move it from it's previous location. TNT Spa Movers was very professional, arrived exactly when they said they would, communicated very well and were done with the job in just less than 2 hours. The price they are charging is right on par with the research I did and can honestly say I would spent $500 to get the job done. If you ever need a hot tub moved from one place to another, DON'T DO THE FOLLOWING: - Borrow a truck - Borrow a trailer - Buy a bunch of pieces of plywood to put on top of the trailer - Con 8 friends into helping - Take a half day getting the job done - Spending $1000 on costly cracks to the hot tub DO THE FOLLOWING :-) - Call TNT Spa Mover

Foley Custom Pools Inc
Kevin Foley and his entire team were great. He was helpful guiding me through the whole process. Additionally, he has answered questions or immediately addressed any concerns I've had since the build. I really appreciated that the Foley build included everything to build and pass inspection for the pool. Other bids came in for less, but when looking close, they didn't have everything included. For example, foley included the fencing to code around the equipment. You can't fill the pool without it, so it was a must have cost. Others that looked lower, said the fencing would have to be contracted seperately by me. I'd rather know all the cost in the beginning vs finding out at the end. Not the way to hit the budget

Their price was very competitive. They had a large selection to choose form, so it was easy to find exactly what we were looking for. They are a local company, so you aren't buying from across the country, and you also don't have to wait for something to get ordered in. You deal directly with the company when you call. The people who delivered the spa really knew exactly what they were doing

majestic pool plaster
Oscar is a nice man. It is why we chose him. My husband instantly liked him and trusted him, and my husband has been in construction for 25 years. However, this was the Worst experience with a company involving construction we’ve ever had. Our Pool remodel is aesthetically poor quality and resulted in a waterfall and hot tub that don’t work properly. The remodel that was expected to take 8-10 weeks to complete took over 8 MONTHS due to numerous issues. Attempts were made by Oscar to fix some issues…he retiled the spa outside surround bc it leaked all over, had someone check for leaks in the pool, retiled some terribly glass tiled areas in the spa which he agreed were terrible, he suggested a different pump which we bought…so he did try to fix some issues. However, I think bc there were so many, it became too much for him. We still ended up with a hot tub that doesn’t work right, a poor tile job in the hot tub, and a rock waterfall that leaks in the back with large holes and loose rocks. Oscar denies knowledge of why the hot tub doesn’t work, and we believe that he doesn’t know how to fix it, and he says will not it fix it. A year warranty is offered but it not very specific to what’s covered but it wasn’t honored in our case anyway. Oscar did come back in a year when we contacted him one last time, to see if we would fix any of the issues. He offered to re-stone a part of the spa that was not an issue, that looked fine and did not leak, but he refused to correct the leaking waterfall and pressure in the hot tub. We have been quoted thousands by other companies to get the work his company did corrected. We paid Majestic approx $20k for pool plaster, tile, to move pool equipment, raise the spa and add a waterfall. The spa resulted in very little pressure, it has some bubbles, but in no way is working like before or like one would expect a hot tub to work/feel. Plaster was stained within a couple months despite regular cleaning. The waterfall leaks constantly in the back and looks like it was Thrown together by someone who obviously didn’t know what they were doing. The spa and waterfall are the first things people comment on when they come over, and the comments or questions regarding it are never good or complimentary. DO NOT PAY until the work is completed and you are sure everything is in working order. We will have to pay thousands to get the spa and waterfall corrected By another company. We paid before the work was done and that was our mistake. We knew better than to pay before the job was done, but we trusted Oscar, because he really seems to be a nice man. I hope by sharing our stupidity will keep someone else from doing the same

I've taken two days off work now to get this work done. The first time they cancelled because they didn't have anyone to send. The second time I requested a morning appt, but apparently its too difficult to get to Dallas in the morning and I wasn't availablle in the afternoon when they could come. Unless you don't work and you are fine sitting around all day waiting until its convenient for them, I wouldn't use them. You would think they could make an exception since they cancelled on me the first time, but they don't care about customer service. I'll have my broken down Aries spa removed and have it replace by company that does have some form of customer service standards

Caribbean Blue Pool Co
Jim showed up around the time I was told (next day from call). He was very nice and professional and really seemed to know what he was doing. He tested everything thoroughly and said that my thermostat on the spa side was not working, it was shutting off every few minutes. The pool side control was working though and should be fine for heating my hot tub. Jim made sure it was heating before the service call was completed. The next day Jim followed up with a phone call to see if the spa reached the desired temperature which I thought was very nice on his part. Caribbean Blue Pool Service has just earned my business, for not gouging me for a new thermostat when they easily could have

G & D Pool and Spa
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY POLITE AND SCHEDULED MY APPOINTMENT AT A TIME THAT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB.
The previous provider had neglected to inform me of issues and the pool was in need of many repairs. The filter was neglected and leaking. The pump was leaking. The SPA was no longer overflowing into the main pool. And the Polaris was not working at all. Carlos gave me options and estimates to fix everything. He also offered to take over my weekly service at a great rate. We agreed on what was to be done and he immediately began working on the pool - before I gave him payment or had met him in person! This was still done via text. I met Carlos later that evening as he was willing to meet me after I got home from work. I then gave him payment info and signed up for the weekly service. He went ahead and did some more work on the pool (it needs a lot) that evening. He has since been out each day since then to continue working on my repairs. I couldn't be more pleased and appreciative of his professionalism and knowledge and trustworthiness. I wish there was an A+ rating to give to Carlos
Damion is very honest and only charges you to replace and/or repair what are needed. Recently, he replaced and repaired all pool equipment and pipes that were damaged by the February 2021 winter freeze. He brought my pool back to life. I am very happy with his work.
He was very meticulous on each project making sure it met our satisfaction. There were few delays in any of the projects. Once he started, he continued until finished unlike some handymen who are working more than one customer at a time. He always cleaned up at the end of the day. His range of skill and ability are wide. He has been able to do all projects we asked of him. If he was not skilled in that area, he always told us. His prices were very reasonable. He is easy to work with and works around our schedule
I literally can't recommend Ryan from RD Leak Detection highly enough -- I joined Angie's List just to review him! He saved us $6,500!!! He's a truly genuine human being, a professional in his field and very passionate about being fair to his customers. 1. When I called looking for a second opinion on a leak we had been quoted a $6500 repair bill on, he was honest about not being able to get out to me for nearly 3 weeks. 2. His price for a full leak detection was fair, and lower than others we'd been quoted, and in one case paid--I wish we hadn't wasted money on the other company 3. When he had a customer change schedule, which opened up an earlier availability, he let me know right away. We were loosing 2 inches of water a day, so getting the test done as quickly as possible was essential. 4. When the day scheduled was a downpour of rain, and he couldn't do the test, he came out that Saturday, first thing, instead. 5. He immediately found the epoxy at one skimmer to be damaged badly. He correctly believed this to be the cause of our leak. After repairing it -- and showing me how I could do epoxy repairs going forward, he finished off the dye test to show nothing else was leaking. 6. He talked me through the "leaks" the other company found (which they said would cost $6500 to fix), and explained how each was a scam. He provided logical demonstrations on how nothing they said made sense. For example, they said all 4 spa jets needed replacement, but he pointed out how our spa was full until the pool went down then it poured over into the pool--whereas if the spa was leaking, it's water level would go down first, then the pool afterwards. 7. Without throwing shade on the other company, he told me that we probably wasted our money on the skimmer replacement, because unless it was cracked in half from frost damage or ground shift, you should almost never have to replace a skimmer, just the plumbing underneath it. 8. He also pointed out that the epoxy around our skimmer shouldn't have gone out so soon (we had it redone when the pool was resurfaced 3 years ago)--and he said it was done well at that time. Bottom line: I wish I had contacted RD sooner, and will be using Ryan going forward, and I would highly recommend his services for any pool work that needs to be done
We did our research, and talked to a lot of people in the area before choosing Dolce Pools to install our pool. We were under unique circumstances, as we had purchased our house in Texas in April, but weren't going to be moving from Massachusetts until June. Knowing summer was going to be in full swing by the time we arrived in Texas, we wanted to get the pool building process started right away so that it would be ready when we arrived. I initially contacted Tyler over the phone, and he offered to swing by our new property to take a look at our backyard so that he could draw up some plans for a pool based on what we told him we wanted. He went out of his way to email and text us multiple pictures so we could narrow down what we liked and didn't like in order to come up with a design that suited our wants and needs. The initial price estimate given to us was exactly what we were charged. Any additional expense incurred was only because we chose to upgrade our pool coping choice, and make some additions to our outdoor kitchen. The cost of everything was itemized from the beginning, so we knew exactly what we were paying for, which was not the case with some other estimates we received. Tyler was very conscientious of our project budget, and was great about helping us find ways to cut expenses in areas that weren't as important to us so that we could upgrade other details. Tyler is very detail oriented and thorough with his planning, so there were no surprises along the way. He always checked in with us about even the smallest details before he proceeded with anything throughout the entire process, which I appreciated very much. Many times with big projects like this, a contractor will do something first, and then tell you about it later saying "If you don't like it, we can change it"...which puts you in a tough spot, making you feel guilty if you aren't happy with their decision. This was never the case with Tyler because we were always informed and included in all decisions along the way. All of the people Tyler hired to do each phase of the build were extremely polite and professional, and Tyler was on the job site often throughout each phase to make sure the work was done to his (and our) specifications. He also handled all of the details involved in the permit process, and kept up with arranging the inspections as needed so as not to slow down the process. I cannot say enough about his patience with us as we made our selections for tile, decking, coping, plaster color, etc - and after the pool was completed as he "trained" us to manage the chemicals, take care of the equipment, etc. Our pool was completed several months ago, but Tyler still checks in with us periodically to see if we have any questions or concerns, and I do not hesitate to contact him for advice concerning the upkeep of the pool. He did not just "disappear" once he got his money! :) I could write a lot more about how satisfied we were with the experience, but in an effort not to bore you with the details, I will just say that we were and are extremely satisfied with the entire process, and most importantly with the end results. We love our pool and outdoor kitchen, and feel that every penny spent was well worth it
The overall experience was very good. I also especially liked that my spa contractor, Craig Cameron, from Natural Water Environments, was available any time I called or emailed, and the payment plan was staggered throughout the project. Craig marked out the rough freeform shape of the spa-to-be and I was able to ask for some small changes in shape as desired. Within two days, four men arrived and the hole was dug. Over the course of a week or so, the rebar was put in for strength, then plumbing, at which time the gunite/concrete was poured and the hole began to look like the spa it was going to ultimately become. We were so excited after the concrete was poured that we sat in the spa, which was a little like sitting in a concrete bunker! Getting to the concrete stage took a little longer than hoped because of rain almost every other day which slowed down the process, and once several days in a row of sunny weather were predicted, the crew returned to build in the electrical circuitry, and the pump, filter, gas heater and other pool equipment was delivered and installed. City inspections were taking place at each stage and passing with flying colors every time. After a couple of bouts of snow (in Dallas, can you believe it), it was time to spray the final pebble plaster finish and fill the spa with water. Once the plaster had cured over a week to 10 days, we were permitted to turn on the gas heater and enjoy our new hot, bubbling spa. In conclusion, to say that I am thrilled with my new spa would be an understatement. As I told Craig, somehow he was able to ?see? what I could ?see? in my head and brought it to a reality. The spa has exceeded all of my expectations and if anyone is interested in having a spa or pool custom built, where you are limited only by your imagination and your budget, I would highly recommend Natural Water Environments. Craig has won several prestigious awards and now I can see why
Matt did two home inspections for us. With Matt’s explicit customer service, attention to detail and quality of work, he keeps you informed of even the smallest fixes that need to be made fairly quickly or within a certain time frame. His prices are more than fair for the astounding quality of work he does. We would continue to use his services if needed and would absolutely recommend him to friends and family
They've got to come out one more time to finish cleaning up the coping and replacing a couple of fixtures in the concrete in the deck. First of all he bid for the pool, re-plastering and everything and that was $4070. Then I found he did some more so I added on other stuff that wasn't in the original bid. So I've used him quite a bit. If I'd known he did as much as he does I wouldn't have had the first company come out and raise the deck. Because he could have done that too. He does a lot of stuff but he doesn't brag about it and doesn't try to talk somebody out of going to somebody else. He knew I already had a bid on raising the deck and he didn't even mention it. As we were working on the pool then he told me he could have done that. Then I found out he could re-stain, repaint the deck which wasn't in the original bid. I was going with somebody else but I changed to him because he did such a good job on everything. I wish I'd known he does as much as he does. He is basically the main employee. He owns the company and he is the main employee. He subcontracts for some of the work he can't do himself. I couldn't have been happier with him. He was great on the price. There were bids higher and lower but I think overall he had the best value for me. Everything is great so far. He just has a couple things he's got to come out and finish. And I told him when he was here last time he's done the main work and I'm in no hurry for that. He had a couple of big remodels scheduled. I said whenever he can get back out here and do it, and I'm sure he will, that's fine. The pool is surrounded and I'm using it and it looks great and everything and the other things are minor. Responsiveness was real good. Like I said he is the owner of the company and he does most of the work so he is sometimes hard to get a hold of and you have to wait for him to call back. He generally got back to me within a day. It was pretty open with the time because he knew I was retired so he would call me up and say he would be out in a 2 or 3 hour window and it was fine with me. Professionalism was great. He explained what he was going to do as he was going along. If I had a question or anything he explained why he was doing it. As I said I couldn't be happier than I am with him. There were 2 or 3 cause I had 7 or 8 different bids, that I was seriously considering going with. Drew, just talking to him and him explaining everything, I changed my mind and went with him. He impressed me from the start
Estimates were accurate. Follow up was very timely. The work started on time and the crew worked very clean. The work was continuous. That is to say, they began and worked until the job was finished. There were no days in which they did not work. They made good suggestions on color, rock type and design
Mike was very responsive in the initial conversations on my broken heater. He did not push me one way or the other regarding repair or replacement. When I went the replacement route, he was competitive on price. The job was done on a short time schedule which was needed due to other factors. Mike and Jennifer were on time, professional and friendly. This was a breathe of fresh air after ongoing bad experiences with another company. Will DEFINATELY call on them again
Contacted Erik in the morning and he showed up that afternoon and accessed the problem immediately. Replaced a leaking valve and replaced with the proper valve. The builder of home had utilized an improper valve that was not up to code. Erik was very punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. I will use Master Fix for any future plumbing issues
Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above
Update: Upon review, Happy Tubs was quick to refund our money since no service was performed and are helping us locate jet covers. They were apologetic and very understanding once the situation was explained. We have no bad vibes now the the situation resolved so quickly.
I know them and their service. Someone gave him a pretty bad rating; but I think he gives an amazing service. He runs the show there. He gives all his clients his cell phone number. He is very quick to respond. He charges $50-$55 a week. I get priority scheduling. When something happened to my pool, he rather keeps an eye for me. He has outdone for 30 years. He is very personable, and his customer service is the top notch. He personally trains all the technicians who come out to the house. Sometimes, he comes with them, even if he doesn’t have to just to keep an eye on, and he does a great quality control check as well

What do customers in Fort Worth say about Hot Tub Installation?
I noticed water leaking out out the wall. I looked and there was a leak under the Jacuzzi. I called Legacy Plumbing and the receptionist recommended I consult a company that specializes in hot tub. In hindsight this step was unnecessary. The hot tub company came and diagnosed a leak around the drain. I called Legacy back and Matt came out to replace the drain. He was nice enough to replace the stopper in the bathroom sink for free. Matt was professional and punctual. Overall I am happy with the service.
