They were able to come by really quick, which I appreciated due to our construction timeline. Floor leveling was done well. However, they failed at floating the floor (getting rid of low dips in the concrete) in preparation for hardwood. The mixture they poured was extremely watery concrete, they did not lay down any bonding material, and there were pools of watery substance everywhere that dried into fine powder and not hardened concrete. Owner Neal kept trying to upsell me, have him install our floors himself with a 1 year guarantee, instead of actually answering my questions about the failed float. Promised to come by to double check the float job, never showed up, stopped responding to emails

I was very concerned about feathering into the existing flooring but after researching, I decided it was the thing to do if I wanted it to look as though all the wood flooring was installed at the same time. Wow! All I can say is the installers were amazing! You cannot tell where one installation began and the other ended. If anything I am much more pleased with this installation than the previous one done by another vendor. When the other vendor installed our wood floor they didn't float the entire floor but did it piecemeal. The Carpet Outlet installers floated the entire room and what a huge difference it makes in the sound of the floor. A very professional job and the floor looks fantastic. I got a better price and better installation

I stripped old linoleum flooring from my kitchen, a bedroom and the utility room, then purchased the new flooring from Lowe's. They sent Sun as their subcontractor to measure areas and also the amount of moisture content in these areas. Unfortunately the moisture level was too high - so I followed up with having a master plumber and foundation contact check for any leaks - none found. Then had an epoxy flooring laid over all the areas - but when Sun measured again, moisture content considered still too high for them to lay regular flooring. I ended up exchanging my original floor material with a similar color in a 'floating floor' wide plank format - which was considered safe to lay. (These floors will never move again!) Once new floor materials were delivered by Lowe's, Sun Carpet installers were prompt in scheduling the install, workers on time, and completed the work in one day by working from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

Flooring was installed and damage was caused to several items. No replies to complaint from corporate office. Flower Mound location was used. Order Number: CG404582 Had approx 750 sq ft of tile installed on the floor. When they were finished they stated they ran out of tile and molding. Probably an error taking measurements. They didn't show up or call for two weeks. Finally they did return and finish the install. The install actually looks great but they were careless during the install. The broke a seal on a bathroom sink causing water leak, improperly reinstalled the dish washer, cracked the water line to the refrigerator causing water leak, put a dent on the front of the dishwasher. I talked to Billie Brandenburg on the phone and also corresponded through emails and she responded that someone from the corporate office would call. I never received a call. I obtained the phone number to the office that was suppose to contact me and left a voice mail. To this day I have never received a phone call. I can't complain about the flooring but the damage they caused would not allow me to use or recommend this company again. Customer service is horrible

Wonderful! Don Potash was who we dealt with and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping us choose the best floors for us and his crew (Luis was the lead) were very nice and very professional. There was a very small thing we found a day or so later that could only have been noticed by us, and when I contacted Don he said they would do whatever it took to fix it and they did! We absolutely love our floors and the work Don's team did in installing them. We definitely plan on using again in the future

Company: Empire Today Location: DFW area Background info prior to service: I have a 2 story 2858sqft home I financed $6218.28 towards vinyl flooring for both the upstairs Game room and the down stairs areas. I was told by the Sales man or Empire Representative that came to my home that because of the size of my home there would be a minimum of 3 men to install the flooring. Due to carpet had to be pulled up removed, floors cleaned, then installation of the vinyl floors. I was told the floors would be installed and the men would be finished by 6pm due to they would arrive at my home 8am on 8/31/2017 or Thursday. Issue: On the day of the installation 08/31/2017 I received a call that the installers would be at my home at 9am but he did not arrive until 11:00 am. Key words he; Empire Today sent one gentlemen to my residence to install vinyl flooring for a 2858 sqft home. And he spoke English but I could tell it was limited. Due to when I asked where was his crew he said they were coming and that was the end of that dialoge. So I allowed him to begin working and he did work around 3:25pm he made a phone call and more men came and helped him put down the remainder of the flooring. They left my residence at 8pm and still had to come back the next day at 8:30am to finish up the transition pieces between the bathroom and bedroom on the second floor. The second day he arrived again at 11:00am not 8:30am and he had 1 gentelmen with him and they worked until about 2pm. And when they finished the transition pieces between the bathroom, bedroom, and the new vinyl flooring it was terrible. The transition pieces were too small they did not fully cover the transition of the tile in the bathroom to the vinyl floor, or the carpet in one of the bedrooms to the vinyl floor on the second floor. I called Empire Today’s Customer service and was told no one could come out to correct the issue until 2 weeks later which was today September 16, 2017. On September 16th once again I received a call at 7:45am on a Saturday that the installer would be at my home with a window of arrival 8am to 10am. He never came to the residence I called empire at 4:15pm and talked to a customer service Repersentative. She was professional and stated that she would contact the installers and they would contact me. The installer contacted me at 4:20pm and said he was in Ceder Hill and I live in Fort Worth TX. He further stated that it would take him an hour to reach my residence. But he could come today or come tomorrow which would be Sunday. At this point I said no I would be calling someone to get reimbursed on these floors or they would be hearing from my Attorney. Please if you took the time to read this review please do not do business with these people. I’m former military and I currently work for the Department of Justice. I’m a new homeowner and I have a lot of things I need to repair with this property and these people just added to my list of things to do. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY PLEASE!!

The quote was for about $55000.00. They have done our neighbor's kitchen. We knew that their quality was really really good and their speed was really really good. They were in and out very fast for her and it does look beautiful. We ended up not using them and probably wouldn't use them again in the future. They had a definite idea of how they thought things should be and it wasn't quite how we wanted it to be. They didn't seem very open to change. It was more of a personality thing. For our neighbor, what she wanted and what they wanted luckily lined up and they were happy with their kitchen. What he proposed was not how we wanted to do it. He doesn't strike me as a person that I would be able to work with and make changes and discuss things

When Jamie first came out he explained the differences in the different wood floor types, and the pros and cons of each. He came back a second time with samples and we chose one we just love. The original date to start was to be 1/6/2016. However, due to unforeseen circumstances it had to be put back a day to 1/7/2015. Jamie called several days ahead to explain the change and that worked out well actually. We were very busy packing up many things on shelves, curio cabinets, etc in preparation for the work. The crew arrived right on time and worked very efficiently. When they had all the flooring removed (and this also entailed them moving numerous pieces of furniture) we discovered some unevenness in the floor and some areas that had some water stains. We brainstormed and decided to cover everything with plywood and then do the flooring. Turned out to be a great decision. The flooring was then much more even and level. They removed all the baseboards and they put down the hardwood flooring. The 6 man crew worked very hard and fast and truly worked as a team with each person knowing his duty. During this time Jamie was here a good part of the time and oversaw the work. By the end of the day on 1/9/2016 they had totally finished. They then moved all the furniture back into place. The floors look great. One other thing they did was to remove the back double doors--frame and all. The doors had to be raised about 1 inch. Jamie arranged for a very good craftsman to do the work and he finished it about the time the floors were done. All looks great and we are most pleased with our new floors. The work is very well done and the attention to detail is excellent. Jamie even came by about 3 days later with an extra box of the wood flooring to use in case of any repairs needed in the future. He is a first-rate contractor and we highly recommend him

Excellent and based on our previous experience with Carlos and his crew, just what we expected. Carlos advised us on every step, looking for lower cost methods and materials while retaining a high quality finished product. Always available to assist, we called Carlos from the flooring store and he discussed the pros and cons of several types before we made the final decision. We were going to incur additional expense for a truck or trailer to store all contents from the guest house while the work was being done but Carlos offered to move all of the items into our garage etc, performed the work and moved everything back. Carlos and everyone on his team are professionals, easy to deal with and very nice people. He sets high standards for his work and we look forward to working with Carlos again

My project, which completed in February 2018, included installing new wood and tile floors and baseboards throughout the house; renovating two bathrooms (including removing wallpaper and texturing walls); installing granite countertops, sink, faucet, disposal, and backsplash in the kitchen; installing a new back door and siding; and refinishing stairs, front door, and cabinetry. I had a hardwood floor damaged by water. Due to the pattern the original floor was done and the type of hardwood, I called over 20 installers and flooring companies and Roy Kelley, the owner, was the only one that had the experience to take this. Literally, everyone else either said It was too hard or had a variety of other reasons why they didn't want to tackle it. Roy and his team came out as promised and did an incredible job. My floor looks like the day the builder installed it. As you can tell, I was extremely pleased with his service. I would highly recommend him for any of your flooring needs without hesitation

So one day I was talking to Carl about wanting to do hardwood floors in my house while he was working on a deck extension project, and the next thing I knew he was sending me pictures and price info via text. Later he brought me a price quote from ProSource Wholesale Flooring. I got a great deal on the flooring, and he negotiated the flooring price below contractor pricing. Carl brought the flooring to my house a few days before the project to allow the flooring to acclimate to my house climate. Craftsman Connection showed up right on time, removed the carpet, and did a great job cleaning the concrete slab for the new flooring to stick to since he found a lot of texture and paint from the builder on the concrete. The flooring was installed so much better than the previous homeowner installed flooring. The joints are staggered like they are supposed to be, and no creaking floors. They did such a nice job of cutting the wood very tightly to the fireplace brick, you can not see a joint. I just love their attention to details. The flooring and base shoe was installed, the room was cleaned up and Carl helped me move the furniture back into the room. That was so nice of him. I'm so happy with the new look of the room. I still haven't stopped starring into my family room, as I walk by and still feel caught off guard by the outstanding good looks. Now we are discussing the Master Bathroom remodel, and designing some really exciting features that you typically see in a spa and a salon. I can't wait. No really. :

This was a sizable project, making a wall where there was previously an archway, cutting a new arch and installing an ornate door in a completely different spot, special wall insulation, tile work, many days of wine rack installation, cooperating with the HVAC folks, led and other lighting fixtures and more. Eric was responsive, prompt and professional from the first contact through completion of the job. We ran a bit over budget and a bit long but it was due largely to our change orders. I would recommend Eric and 360 Remodeling without reservation
