Bantex Construction Inc
Went great. I have used Bantex 2 years ago for our prior house remodeling. That job went so well, I didn't even get additional bids for this job. Terry knows what he is doing and has the best subs working for him. We have phase 2 of this remodel coming up in early 2015 and we will be using Terry again. He is worth the wait

Kitchens Designed by Vivienne LLC
This is my second time hiring Vivienne to design and oversee a remodel. The first was our kitchen/utility remodel 3 years ago. We knew we were eventually going to overhaul our tacky master bath and there was never any question that we were going to hire Vivienne again. We even used other designers/remodelers for non-kitchen/bath projects in the interim, who did a fine job, and still... just no question about using Vivienne again. She's just a complete pro, on top of every detail, and works her can off to make sure you're happy, not just with the outcome but with the process throughout. She's diplomatic and thoughtful and full of wonderful ideas. For the bathroom remodel, Vivienne redesigned our master bath and adjoining closet, which is a difficult, long, narrow space, and even though we removed the tub, there wasn't a really obvious path to fitting everything back in in a way that accomplished all our goals. But somehow she still found a way. She's also amazing about staying on top of the project during construction to make sure everything is being done to plan. We had a really complex tile feature wall that she spent many hours perfecting, even though it was a "random" pattern and she totally could have left it up to the tile folks to just wing it, that's not how she rolls. Oh, she also designed cabinets for two of our other bathroom vanities to get them more modern and fitting with the rest of the remodeled rooms. They're beautiful! Sadly, we're out of big projects to do in our house, so I don't have a reason to hire her again, but I would in a heartbeat

Kitchens Designed by Vivienne LLC
Vivienne assisted with a major remodel of our kitchen and master bath. Her design reflected our style and budget. She has a wonderful eye for color and style that was very helpful when we selected cabinets, countertops, flooring and paint colors. She was active throughout the entire remodel and was present for all installs to ensure accuracy. The project was everything we hoped for and more. We highly recommend Vivienne for any type of remodeling project

Mr. GC Corp
Overall went very well. We're happy with the end result with remodeling our bathrooms, which included knocking out a wall and adding built-in shelves for the shower. Fireplace remodel was a big project with the stone work going from floor to ceiling and requiring scaffolding. Master Handyman helped find options for available inventory of stone as we had no idea how to approach selection and went above/beyond with helping to find a new and suitable gas fireplace system to install. They have also been very responsive and prompt sending contractors to fix minor issues post work within their 1 year warranty (and those issues have not recurred since they fixed.) Overall they know how to take care of the customer, be patient with issues and concerns, and will help with selecting and picking up parts too large for most people to get delivered or pickup on their own

R&M Granite and Remodeling Services
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Margarita and Rafael of R&M Granite and Remodeling Services. Not only are they genuinely caring, good people but they are the first contractors I’ve met that care about your home as much as you do. They whole team of R&M Granite and Remodeling are professional and perform at the highest level of their trade. During our remodel, they helped us with demo of walls, rebuilding bathrooms, building cabinets, painting the entire house as well as cabinets. In addition they completed all necessary electrical and plumbing needed with the remodel. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them and the team. If you’re going to remodel there is no one else that will come close to the final product and make the process as smooth as possible
Fantastic! Patrick Pearson, our salesman, showed us several types of roofing that he recommended, and we chose a DaVinci roof, which was beautiful. The work was completed in 3.5 days without a glitch. Patrick has a dedicated crew of 8, all of whom worked very hard and very well together. (The same crew has been with Patrick for 8 years.) They also assigned a quality control person who regularly checked with us and kept a close eye on the work. The result is amazing! My husband and I agree that we've NEVER had such great customer service. During the work, a couple of people came by to get Patrick's contact information; one of them said they had been watching how well the crew worked together and were very impressed
Needed exterior water damage repair and received a prompt response to set up an appointment for an estimate. A request was made to quote the cost to replace all exterior wood with Hardie Board material as well as installing new gutters and downspouts.. Chris Walker came out to the house right on time. Very professional and knowledgeable, he was prepared for the rain forecast for the afternoon so that he could work through it, and he did. That was the day of the tornadoes in Forney. He showed us samples of their materials including the guttering, downspouts, and guards as well as the paint they would use. He clearly explained the detailed line item format of their quote sheet as well as their warranties and insurance coverage, etc. He promised a quote and we made the proposal appointment. He called a couple of days later to ask for a followup appointment so he could make more detailed measurements of the guttering and downspout locations, which he was on time for, and completed while two other contractors were on-site. Chris was on time for the original proposal appointment and had everything promised, in great detail. We went over it line by line, arrived at an agreement, and the quote was signed for start of work at a yet to be determined date since replacement of the roof was pending a start date. Chris was extremely helpful in working with his management and the crew leads to help us convey to the roofing company what needed to be done by whom and in what order which worked out to everyone?s advantage. Excellent communication and understanding of project management on Chris? part made it all go far smoother than it might have otherwise. The start date for the renovation slipped a few days without impact to the overall schedule and for good reason. The winds were high and spray painting was being delayed at the preceding jobsite to ours. Edwin arrived as promised on a Saturday and we walked the job, checking the job description and making sure little details were clear to us both. Chris was able to help yet again with a series of emails clarifying the type and finish of the soffit material in response to my questions that arose after the landscaper?s architectural lighting consultant had been out to finish up their plans. Chris got answers through the weekend and on Monday right at eight as promised Edwin and his crew arrived. We walked the jobsite again and discussed a few more details. His crew started work and were very responsive to requests and very helpful in explaining the details of what they were doing, what they planned to do, and what the issues with the original construction were at many times throughout the project which lasted four very long days. As surprises turned up during demolition they were again very helpful in immediately pointing things out and asking for input as to how it would be preferred to proceed. Each issue was resolved quickly, professionally, and with detailed explanations. They were clear on what changes would require material not on the job sheet and were clearly ultimately concerned with customer satisfaction. I was surprised that stating that we had no problem covering any extras and overruns as needed since the repairs took precedence was an unusual occurrence. After all, it?s called an estimate for a reason. Every person on the crew was unstintingly polite, diligent, clean in their appearance and work habits, very easy to work with, friendly, and considerate. There was no significant damage to anything in the flower beds even though they?d been told it was all to be dug out for upcoming landscaping. This concern for our property carried through every day, including painting. Phillips Painting motto is ?Workmanship Beyond Your Expectations? ? often this is merely marketing noise. Not here. Not at all. If anything it?s an understatement. Seriously. Why? Well, this house was built in the mid-late eighties and without foundation damage but it has settled a bit leaving a lot of framing just a wee bit off square and plumb. Not by much but enough to make exact replication of the exterior trim physically impossible in places. Didn?t slow them down a bit although it did run extra hours for which we were happy to pay given the results. It takes skill and experience to redesign on the fly like this and they left a number of places quite literally better than new, both in quality of workmanship as well as the look of the house. Over a thousand pictures were taken before, during, and after making this demonstrably true. They weren?t hired to do remodeling although in the end this was a good portion of what they did. When your neighbors compliment the work through the day, and most every day, something more than mere repair is taking place. No detail was overlooked and no prompting was necessary for them to add extra features that have honestly taken their work beyond ?beyond?. And that ain?t hyperbole. Having worked as an assistant carpenter for a remodeling firm, albeit a long time ago, it was easy to recognize the first class skills of every single person on the crew as well as the quality management behind them. Chris proved to be an excellent source of help and communication, and took personal concern for the job, dropping by a couple of times to make sure it was going well and if we were happy with the work. Would we use them again? In a heartbeat
When we purchased our 30 year-old home we loved it but knew it had to be updated, in particular the bathrooms and the kitchen area (which included the laundry and the formal dining room). The house was very compartmentalized. It had a small, hidden kitchen that was not connected to anything except for the breakfast nook. Next to the kitchen on one side there was a laundry room and on the other side there was a formal dinning room, but all of these rooms were separate. We wanted to open the whole area up as much as possible, but as we quickly realized, the project presented real structural challenges (three different ceilings and elevations, dividing walls, etc). We knew that in addition to the design aspect we had to deal with the structural aspect of the project. In order to help us with this process, we hired an structural architect who provided us with several floor plans. All of her proposals opened the kitchen somewhat but left the laundry in its original location, which meant that we could not use the entire space for the kitchen and dining room. All of her proposals had supporting beams that would interfere with the line of sight. I was not getting what I wanted and was becoming increasingly disappointed. During this process I was also talking to Mirna and Luis from Arbors and Patios, who had built a beautiful outdoor kitchen and patio for us in our previous house. When discussing the possibilities for the project Luis and Mirna began to propose great ideas that could help us deal with the issues in this complex project. I ultimately trusted them because they had done great work for us in the past and because their ideas were the best we heard so far. Luis and Mirna proposed that the laundry was relocated, and that the different ceilings were elevated and made into a single, unified ceiling. The kitchen now is open, airy and amazing. The entire space is full of light and modern! By removing the bay window and adding the panoramic window we now have fantastic views of the outdoors, we love it! I feel that hiring Arbors and Patios was the best thing we could have done for our house. For us just as important as the quality of their construction work were the ideas and insights they provided which to made our house the most beautiful and functional space possible
Used them for 2 bathroom remodels in a rental property. Pros: Crew is courteous, friendly, and shows up on time ready to work. Job was completed on schedule or ahead of schedule. Crew cleans up area well EVERY day. Very good tile work. Price was fair. Not the cheapest. Not the most expensive. I got 5 bids. I was allowed some flexibility on the contract, which, if I hadn't had that, I wouldn't have hired them. They addressed any concerns I had as we went along. Good communication. I felt really good about them when I hired them after meeting Stacy Calahan who came to give me the bid. He is very realistic and accommodating. Reliability, skill, and honesty carry a lot of weight with me and these guys get an A in those areas. Cons: Wall texturing is not their strong suit. It was way too heavy and uneven. I don't recommend them for this. We had a mild conflict regarding a new spot on the carpet in the work area which I am certain was from their crew. I let it go because I figured I'd be replacing the carpet in another year or so and the fight wasn't worth it to me. Had that not been the case it would have gone differently. If you have a particular look you want for something, be sure you are clear and provide photos if possible. Otherwise you risk confusion - even if you've discussed it thoroughly
We LOVE our new kitchen and are so happy we chose Chip’s Kitchens & Baths! All of their employees and contractors were professional, respectful, helpful, and created our dream kitchen. Ron created the perfect layout. Carol made sure we had all the appliance and lighting orders in place. Chuck was an excellent superintendent and went above and beyond to incorporate all of our requests. We will always recommend Chip’s Kitchens and Baths. Mike and Kim Trust
Kyle and his team at North Dallas Renovations went above and beyond to help me renovate my “fixer upper” into the home I’d always wanted. My project, which completed in February 2018, included installing new wood and tile floors and baseboards throughout the house; renovating two bathrooms (including removing wallpaper and texturing walls); installing granite countertops, sink, faucet, disposal, and backsplash in the kitchen; installing a new back door and siding; and refinishing stairs, front door, and cabinetry. Kyle's pricing was fair, and he scheduled work to complete as quickly and smoothly as possible. Throughout the process, I came to rely on Kyle’s patience, honesty, and sound advice. Several times, I found myself rethinking design choices I had made, and Kyle was quick to adapt, helping me select products and finishes that would complement the house. Every member of Kyle’s team was friendly, conscientious, and took pride in his work, and they were all exceptionally trustworthy—I knew I could leave them alone with my house and even my “fur kid.” I’m extremely pleased with the results of this project, and I would definitely work with Kyle and team again
About 8 month ago, we hired The Empire of Tile and Granite to remodel our kitchen. We were extremely pleased with the results and was eager to have them to come back to remodel our bathroom. They certainly did not disappoint us this time. Daniel is again the main man, with the help of Alexander, they transformed our bathroom from old ancient to new and modern. We are looking forward to have them come back to remodel another bathroom
We were involved in a lengthy master bath remodel, and Charlie's Plumbing were one of the best service providers on the project. They were flexible when it came to timing for services, and willing to make multiple trips to help keep us on schedule. Specific work completed: 1. Rerouted water and drains for sinks 2. Rerouted water and drain for tub, plus capping water lines for now 3. Fixed shower fixture in upstairs bathroom 4. Re-attached all shower fixtures in the master bat
Haim Gamaliel with G&H Construction was great to work with on the complete remodeling of my boyhood home in Dallas. Even though I now live 2,000 miles away, Haim kept me informed daily with phone calls, videos and photographs of the work he and his crew were doing. I only wish I had another home in Dallas so I could hire him again! Tim Bullar
This was the 2nd bath that New Bath Technology did for us. Just like the first one, it went smoothly. Very professional, very clean, very concerned with what we want and how we wanted it done. Mary is outstanding as a project coordinator and helps with design also. I highly recommend New Bath Technology for any bath remodel
