Not well. The glass on our cooktop stove developed a crack but was functioning perfectly. Also ice maker in refrigerator was not working. While he was replacing the glass, the stove suddenly stopped working. He could not explain what had happened, but said that glass could not be returned, we had to pay for the now useless glass, and we would still need to buy a new stove! At same time, he replaced ice maker in refrigerator which wasn't working. Well ice maker still does not work. His response was we need to check our water. Does that mean the ice maker was not actually broken and the problem is the water supply or that the ice maker we replaced was broken and coincidentally there was also a problem with water? The latter would be a coincidence that would be hard to believe and still does not explain why he didn't fix the problem. So we are out $736 and have to buy a new stove and call someone else to fix ice maker!

Great service and very professional. Had them come out and replace my cracked glass stove top for my oven. In addition they verified my oven was operating at the correct temperatures. They also troubleshot an intermittent fault I had in my fridge where the water/ice would randomly not dispense. Turned out to be a fault in one of the relays in my control board. All items fixed in a timely manner and matched the quote/estimate. Would gladly use them again. Great work!

KNK APPLIANCE WIZARD INSTALL
After having new appliances sitting in boxes for 13 days and no one in the Miami up to the task of minor custom work, I found KNK. I called the office on 8/12 and spoke to Edie, hoping for at least a look-see in the next few days. Mr. Valdivia was able to come the next morning and showed up promptly at 9 a.m. for an estimate. We agreed to a deal, he called his crew at another site and went to work solo. There was some cutting through 3 layers including tile, cement, and wood as well as some surgery on the wood cabinet that cocooned the old oven. By lunchtime, Mr. Valdivia was done and had cleaned up the mess on the floor. The work looks superb. Price was dear because of three hours of woodwork but as I said, he was done by lunchtime. My wife, son, and I are happy with the quality and would recommend KNK for any custom or new appliance installation.

Lazaro was fantastic. He was very easy to reach to set up a service appointment. He was responsive via phone calls, texts, and contact with my condo management office with all administrative details in advance. He said he would come during the 1-3 pm time frame on the scheduled service date. In advance of arriving, he called and texted to make sure that someone was home. He promptly arrived at 1pm right on time. He came to install my glass stove cooktop. My stovetop was not the average case because the oven needed to be removed to do the installation. Lazaro clearly told me up front that there would be an additional charge because of the oven removal. He was clear with all pricing throughout his servicing. If I remember right, he quoted $129 for the installation. Then, he quoted $185 because it was complex installation. However, he gave me the Angie's List discount and my final price was $165. After he finished installing the cooktop, I mentioned to him how my dishwasher would often fall out when I would open the front panel door. He looked at it and said it was a simple fix. He asked if I had a couple of screen. He screwed them right in to fasten the dishwasher in place. And, voila, it was fixed! He said there would be no charge for that fix and it was complimentary. My dishwasher had been falling out like that for years. What a nice bonus. Lazaro was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the service. I would definitely use Lazaro again for any appliance repairs I need. He was the most helpful handyman I have ever had.

Hector offered to come within 1/2 hour of my phone call - I told him I needed more time and could he come in an hour instead - incredible. He was incredibly honest and told me it would be more economical to buy a new stove instead of repairing the broken cooktop - he then called me later when he found the identical model at a local appliance store. I have never encountered a repair person who is this honest. He could have made a lot of money on this job if he wasn't upfront about the pro/cons of repair vs. replace. I will use him again if anything comes up and will definitely recommend him. So nice to deal with a true professional.

Technician not factory trained, made wrong diagnosis, since he couldn’t repair it said I need a new stove (at $1,800!). Tech left paper with my name, address, phone but no itemized bill ($70 service call), said he had a lunch date. I called next day, owner apologized about no proper receipt TEXTED me bill. I called Maytag, they gave me some credit (7 yr old stove barely used), set up for local factory trained rep to come out, computer iPad hooked up, stove told him key stuck; ordered new stove front keyboard, works perfectly now. Yes it cost $750 but cheaper than $1,800 for new stove!
