Our bathroom faucet was barely attached and functioning, and pedestal sink had become detached from the wall, but we were waiting for our tax refund to make the repairs. Then the toilet stopped working (late Saturday night). I called Pines Plumbing at 8:30am on Super Bowl Sunday and no one answered, and I didn't leave a message (figuring I would call back on Monday). To my surprise and delight, Maddie used caller ID to call me back in 5 minutes! I explained that we needed the toilet and a bathroom faucet replaced. She gave me estimates (both of which seemed reasonable), and scheduled a visit for plumber Jason the next day (Monday) between 2pm and 4pm. When we went shopping for a new toilet and faucet, we made the decision to replace the pedestal with a vanity. Wasn't sure how that would affect our service call, so I called up Maddie and not only di dshe answer, she gave me a new estimate and confirmed the same appointment time. The next day, Jason called me at 1:30pm on Monday and said he was 45 minutes out. He arrived at 2:15pm and got to work right away (even making friends with my two pups). He observed that we had no shut-offs for the bathroom sink and said he could add them for a reasonable extra fee and we agreed. Over the next 4 hours he worked quietly and cleanly to remove the old fixtures and install the new ones. At the end of the job, my husband inquired about an additional issue with the shower, and he not only quoted us a price, but called the office to ask them to contact me to schedule another visit to fix the issue. Although the expenses came at a less than optimal time, the prices and service made the pain much less. Will refer friends and family in the area to Pines Plumbing.
