Dallas Crawl Space Waterproofing

We purchased a home in Ridgefield, and several days later, we had water in a cement crawlspace. We debated what to do for months--wet or dry outside the pool didn't seem to go away. We had some wood down there, and that invites black mold. We had several companies bid, and they each had a different opinion of what needed to be done. I found Basement Solutions on a google search, and boy I am glad I did. Bill knew the problem from day one and spent a lot of time answering my questions. Bill brought in a team that worked non-stop for 2 1/2 days. They cleaned up after themselves and our crawlspace has never looked better. It has been dry ever since. I received a life of the home warranty from them as well. I have worked with a lot of contractors in my day and I get worried each time. Bill and team exceeded my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend or work with Basement Solutions again.

Have not begun the project yet, but Marcelino and his Father are extremely professional, courteous and very punctual. It is refreshing to find this kind of customer service these days!

I have had a couple service calls on the sump pump and they take care of take it within couple days.

WE HAD TWO SEPARATE PLACES WHERE THE WATER WAS COMING IN. WE SAW IT AS ALL ONE PROBLEM, BUT HE LOOKED AT IT AS TWO SEPARATE PROBLEMS, AND HE GAVE US TWO DIFFERENT CHARGES. WHAT HE DID, DIDN'T WORK! THE WATER IS STILL COMING IN.

During the 24 hrs that Colorado Springs got the record rainfall since 1961, my husband and I were down in our basement when we heard a wierd "splash" from the window. We turned to see a few lizzards swimming in about 3 feet of water that had filled our basement window well. The water was coming in through the window and had been soaking the walls we had just painted, the insulation, the carpets we had just laid. We called a 24 Hour Home Emergency company and waited 2 hours for them to arrive while we bailed the water our in the pouring rain. The company finally showed up and told us they would only be able to dry out the inside of our basement room (not put it back together afterwards) and that nothing could be done to prevent the water from coming in the window. They also wanted to charge us about $3K to do that drying. WOW. Needless say, the rest of that night, between taking turns bailing water, we were ripping up carpet, removing the totally saturated pads underneath, and ripping insulation out of the walls, and setting fans on them. Cost us $20 for the extra fans from WalMart. Sometime in the wee hours of the morning, I got Angie's List and found H2O Drainage Systems. The writeup on the left-hand side of the screen was perfect - it was like someone invented him for us! At 7am (he is not a 24-hour emegency guy, but if you can get through the night, he can save you :D) I called Terrel. He was already at another job, but re-arranged his afternoon to come help us. He got here around noon. It was still raining, and by then we had been working and water-bailing the ever-filling window wells for about 15 hours straight - no sleep for about 34 hrs (we figured out that the water was coming in from the earth below the wells - the water table had risen that high). He could easily have taken us for a ride price-wise in our desperation. Thankfully, he absolutely did not - even gave us a discount. He was extremely professional and kind. He brought everything he needed based on what we had told him over the phone, and installed a kind of pump that he actually invented and has never failed in 34 years. He made it look really nice, did all the work himself except a little sweat equity on our part afterwards putting extra river rocks on top. The thing works great! We were so glad we found him on AngiesList. We would definitely reccommend him to anyone - he does a military discount too!

Changing F to an A!!! Luis got his office staff issue worked out, got back to me, and we scheduled the job. They worked hard and got everything done over two days. When we're ready to do the next round of waterproofing in the basement, we plan to call The Foundation Company again.

THEY DID NOT SHOW UP ON TIME, AND THE FOREMAN JUST GAVE ME EXCUSES. I WAS UNDERWHELMED, FEELING THE OWNER SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING MORE QUALITY CHECKS ON THE PROJECT. I HAD TO NAG AND NAG TO GET ANY ACTION ON HIS PART.

Terry and his team are fantastic. Very nice, very professional, and very informative. Terry came out and diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote up-front, and had his team out the next week and got the job done in about four hours. The timing was perfect, as there was an epic storm last night, and guess what? No leaks! I would recommend Leak Trackers to anyone who has waterproofing or leak concerns and wants to get the job done RIGHT.

I thought they were very professional, very helpful, they wanted to help us as best as they could and they did a very good job. They quoted us about $6000.

They were quick and they came out. Overall, they did a good job. There were some things that I think that they should've done to be more proactive.
