Well, I guess all you have to is read all the other bad reviews as to see what happened to us. Do not hire this person, he will take your money and keep putting you off to say he is getting parts without knowing the correct parts that is needed to fix the problem. Our refrigerator stopped working on a Sunday 7/12/20 so we called Mr. Appliance Doctor, we were so excited that they were willing to come out and said he could fix the problem, he carried parts on his truck for LG appliances. Raphael showed up to our house and was very nice, opened the freezer and said I know what the problem is and will order the part to get it fixed. Told me that I would need to pay $200 up front for him to order the part. He would pick the part up and be back at our house the next morning between 11 and 12. We waited until 1 pm and called him to see what the status was he said that his guy picked up the wrong part and he would pick it up and be at our house between 4 and 5. 6 pm came and we called and checked the status he said he had to order the part and would be out the next day between 10 and 11. 12 pm the next day we called and he said he was ordering the part and would pick it up and would be at our house at 4 to 5 pm. This time he showed up with a fan motor. For some reason he started ripping out the top portion of the fridge and ripping off the back insulation off it tearing up the part so it would have to be replaced. Raphael then told me that he would have to order that part after tearing it up and it would be $285.00, he called someone on the phone that said it would have to be ordered and that it would be in the next day at 10 am. 12 pm when he didn’t show I called Raphael and asked what the status was, he stated that they were still waiting for it to come in. I called again at 3 pm and got the same answer. While all of this was going on, I decided to call an appliance parts place in Dallas. Low and behold they had both panels for top and bottom of the refrigerator. I drove 15 min payed $175.00 for both pieces and had the refrigerator running within 30 min of install. Raphael had left the original part, can you believe it the part he left didn't match any part in the refrigerator. He could not have fixed it even if he returned. We did express our displeasure with his business. I did tell him to come and get his part and return our money he said he would return only $100 since he came out twice. I am still trying to figure out what he did to deserve the $100. We did tell him to keep the $69 service fee, but he kept insisting he was keeping $100 and would return the rest. This started on 7/12/20, I fixed the refrigerator on 7/16/20 and it is now the 27th with no return of the money. He yelled at me and told me he was the technician “Could have fooled me” and I was "ripping him off" because I told him I would not pay for the part he tore up that didn’t need to be replaced. I did tell him that he would be reported to BBB, Secretary of State due to his business license and all social media accounts I could post to. He told me he was having a heart attack and hung up on me. I just wonder how many people he has done this to. People paying $200 up front, sure could add up to a lot of money for him. If he had just been honest and upfront, which he was not I could have understood. just tell me you need $200; I am going to just go ahead and screw you around. At least I would have felt better about that. Just so you know this is like the other bad reviews. He did show up at our house first time with his kids, he left them in the truck. Had to leave fast because of this. On his second visit he had his daughter with him and what looked like his grandfather. Honest I felt very sorry for his young daughter that she got to see a heated argument that we had on the second visit. I believe he brings her to keep things from getting heated when he does this to people. Again, do not - do not - do not hire this guy he is a thief.
