David arrived on time as before, performed a quick inspection and informed me that the house had piers to bedrock with post tension steel cable foundation and that it would not move even if you removed the dirt below it. He did not charge this time and was very professional as before. Thanks David!

Originally, I asked for a scored, colored, concrete slab for my rear patio. When Chris Roberts? team installed it, they tore out the existing wood deck and discovered concrete under the old wood deck. They then poured the new concrete over existing concrete, and when complete, the new concrete slab was above the level of the house foundation. This caused water to leak into the family room of my home and to damage the wood siding on the outside wall. Thus, Chris Roberts had to tear out the whole thing (at their expense). At that time, they discovered that the old concrete (which was under the old wood deck) was part of the house slab with post-tension cables running through it and back under the house. Thus, they had only a few choices: 1) Tear out the old concrete (which was part of the house foundation); 2) Pour concrete on the lower part of the patio (to which the concrete foundation did not extend) and install flagstone over both the new concrete (at the lower end of the patio) plus over the existing foundation slab; 3) Refund my money and walk away from the job. To Chris? credit, he chose option 2 and installed beautiful flagstone. He kept telling me how much more expensive flagstone is versus a concrete slab (which is what I paid him to install). However, he never did anything to pull the water (when it rains) away from the patio. The first time we had a heavy rain, the patio collected several inches of water and started backing up towards the house (even though the patio flagstone was graded away from the house). After entering a negative review on Angie?s List, and asking them to intervene, I received a call from Chris. He volunteered to grade the dirt (where my yard and patio meet) so that water will not collect there, and to install a 9-inch grate at the end of my patio plus underground pipe to funnel the water to the front of my house. He did this for free in order to maintain a good rating on Angie?s List. Bottom Line: Chris demonstrated integrity by making everything right. I just wish that the work had been done properly the first time.

Absolutely fantastic! Edwin and his entire staff are top notch. Edwin called me on a regular basis to keep me informed while we were waiting for the scheduled work date. When rain showed up in the forecast he called me with daily updates. In all aspects, Foundation Resolutions is an excellent choice for foundation repair.

A company representative came out and took measurements, gave us an estimate for work around the outside perimeter of the house. We had a second estimate and Structured was a bit higher but we went with them because of the good rating here on Angie's list. They did come down a little when we told them about the lower bid. They scheduled the work, arrived on time and finished on time. They left the work area clean considering the type of work. That is, they hauled away the extra dirt, replanted the shrubs they had to take out, left no trash or debris in the yard. They did have to jackhammer two small areas on the front porch, so they took out enough of the porch to make a neat square that included both spots. The result is very clean looking. The cost was exactly as agreed. Just as they told us, some of the cracks in the house closed as a result of the work, while others were unchanged or even a bit worse. After the work was completed, they sent an engineer and a plumber to check that all was well. They found no problems. We got a transferable warranty, important for us as we are selling the house. They did a good job and I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Everything went so smoothly. I got the foundation inspected and it needed repair. I got the estimate and scheduled the work. They called the day before the work was to start to answer any questions I had. The work team arrived earlier than I expected by about 10 to 30 minutes. They finished installing 19 piers and leveling the house in 1 1/2 days. They put everything back the way it was when they started and did a walk around with me to make sure I was satisfied. This company is honest and courteous and very easy to work with.

A small army of people showed up, dug holes, added pillars and then refilled our landscaping and dirt in a clean, neat way. It was pretty incredible to watch all those people working together. I never would have guessed it could be done in one day but we got a fixed house in about 8 hours. We got our final engineer survey yesterday and all is good. It was stressful to find out we had the problem but it was actually pretty easy to get it fixed thanks to these guys. From their owner to each of the workers.... all great. We would for sure recommend this company to anyone needing foundation repair.

Granite sent out a great crew to perform the necessary foundation work. They were very professional and pleasant to work with. Any time I had a question or request, they were very helpful and responsive. They cleaned up the work site every day prior to departing. This job took 3 full days to complete. I would definitely hire this company again or recommend them to others needing similar repairs to their home concrete post tension foundation.

Showed up promptly, did good work. Be sure to read the fine print in the contract. I had the foundation checked several years later by a structural engineer, and he said it was sound. Overall, good experience.

Very quickly even when it was raining they worked hard to complete the job by the end of the day.

They made an extra effort to place an interior pier via tunneling to it rather than going though a floor in the middle of a room. Very impressed!

From the moment we met Rob, we knew that this was a great company. They are family owned and operated, and that was evident throughout our whole experience. The price was comparable, but he walked us through the entire process. He didn't just look around and hand us an estimate. They worked hard, completed the job on time, and made our yard look better when they left than when they got there.

They were on time and completed the task promptly, I had little loss in plants around the house even though the flower beds were full. They were careful replanting most of the bushes. They also had to work inside house and cleaned their work and replaced carpet.

My wife and I are very happy with the work and understanding that was provided by Foundation and Concrete Services (FCS). My wife and I met Joaquin Vasquez in 2011 after discovering our recently purchased home was in need of foundation work. Mr. Vasquez was very detailed in what steps needed to be taken to insure a proper repair and was able to assist us in securing other services such as tree trimming, carpet installers (we had internal piers), and a plumber. I believe our circumstances were a little more difficult because our home had been repaired by another well know company before our purchase. My story is long, so let me cut to the chase. If you want company that can insure a proper repair in the most extraneous of circumstances and you want a company that isn't "just in it to sell piers" Mr. Vasquez is your man. He is fair, his staff is courteous and clean, and, most important, they get it done on time. -Jason Darvin

All service from initial estimate to crew that did work was prompt and professional. The price was much more reasonable then 4 other quotes I received. The crew that came to my house were very professional and friendly and kept me informed as to the progress the whole time. Also, though I didn't need it I was told that they would work out a payment plan. Foundation repairs can be very expensive and to find a company that is both reasonably priced and willing to work with customers is refreshing. As for the work, with any foundation repair there is likely to be additional repairs due to raising a house that has settled with the foundation damage. Time will tell how structurally sound the repairs are but the additional repairs needed now are minimal and I feel very comfortable recommending A-1 to those seeking foundation repair.
